I removed my Facebook account from my Motoblur account listing and tried to add it under other accounts but it does not show up at all and thus no contacts get sync'd or anything though I can still use the facebook app. Do I have to login to facebook under motoblur accounts in order to get the contact syncing?

Has Motorola done something to the Motoblur widget that would be preventing these from coming through? Setting the widget to show updates from only that contact/friend doesn't even allow them to come through.

Such accounts do not appear as seperate items in 'settings' > 'accounts' and opening the motoblur account (on the phone) merely shows the linked email address and password (unlike all other accounts it cannot be edited in any way).

Also, if I try to delete a contact that was imported though facebook, I get a message that says "cannot delete files from read only accounts" Is there any way to get rid of facebook and all of the facebook contacts on my Atrix? Which I'm only guessing is necessary because My Music and My Photos are so heavily integrated with it... But what about the users who really don't want/use these features?I have all of the sharing features turned off...because I don't have a social networking account synced to my phone. However, I notice that the facebook app is always running, and consumes anywhere from 40 to 80 mb's of ram.

I have my Facebook account setup under the Facebook app and I am able to use Facebook as an option when I share photos but I am looking for the ability to have Facebook contacts show in the Contacts. I have an Evo 4G and I have the ability to have my Facebook contacts included with two Google accounts (work and personal) and would like to do so on my tablet as well. Is this just a feature of my HTC phone or a failing of Honeycomb 3.1 that I'm unaware of or is this specific to the Xoom FE?

I also set up my facebook account to and then waited for all my contacts to be imported....but nothing! No contacts on the phone. However I keep getting "New Link Post" in the happenings box coming up from people on facebook, but there is only their names, no profile pics to show which would suggest its doing something.

Facebook messages do not load through Atrix's Motoblur's messaging widget. The updates seem to be fine, though the contact's pictures do not come up. I deleted group messages from my Facebook homepage (not all of them, just the visible ones on the front page) and I also checked my IMEI, but still nothing.

That is not the case with my Droid 3.
1) I've added a Facebook Account
2) There was no pre-installed facebook app so I downloaded and installed the Facebook App from the Market.
No pictures in my contacts although my facebook contacts did appear (in text form). I did wait a day to see if they'd come down. Next, I removed the app and the account. This time around I switched the order...
1) I installed the Facebook app from the market
2) I went to add and account. There was a small facebook icon and a large one. The large one looked "new" so I tapped it. The screen when blank for a second and then back to the account icons.
3) I chose the smaller facebook icon and was prompted for my login.
Facebook is listed as an account, but still no pictures in my contacts.
This is what happened and I've been having troubles with my phone ever since.I was with my friend and I got really tired of my phone being so slow so I wiped it and cleared everything pretty much.I forgot my moto account name and password so I made a new Gmail and a new Moto account name.Now my facebook Contact pictures will not show up at all and I've called family mobile at walmart to see
View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble with some of my albums artwork not showing up on my Atrix's stock music player. I've put the same music files on several other phones with no issues. The music player is working fine, just not showing the album artwork for SOME of the albums (not all of them, though), I've tried deleting the files & re-syncing; I've tried using Motorala's own file transfer software for my computer with no luck. Anybody else had the same problem? If so, is there anything I can do to fix it, or would it be best to download & use a third party music player, which I have concidered?
View 2 Replies View RelatedEver since the ICS update, my gallery likes to not show the pictures that are on my phone. They were visible pre-ICS, but are now not. If I use a file manager I can see that they are still on my phone and even view them, but they refuse to pop up in my gallery. I have tried the unmounting and mounting of my SD card as I have seen people wiht similar problems do, but have had no success.
Is there a new folder that the pictures need to be moved to to be seen by the gallery app? I'm guessing no because they did occassionally show up after the update, but now won't at all. Still, worth asking.
I've had my Atrix for probably about a month and a half now. When I first got it, Google images showed up just fine. I noticed yesterday though that when doing a search, they show up fine until you click on one to look at bigger, and it's blurry. On top of that, half the time it shows part of the picture to the left or right of it as well.

I installed the Facebook app from the Market, and now when I go to accounts, and click Add, I see 2 facebook icons (one produces the annoying Motorola terms & conditions screen and I suspect is tied into Blur somehow), the other is clearly the Facebook account that goes with the Facebook app, but when I click that one, nothing happens. Can I add a facebook account without agreeing to Motorola's T&C (and possible getting bogged down in their social networking apps)?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am having an error with the WiFi of the Atrix 4G. It will not connect and when I go into settings it just says 'Error'. I have had the phone since it has come out and this has never happened before. I have wiped and restarted the phone twice and nothing has changed. I have attached pictures of the menu settings page and the toggle switch which just has the loading symbol and cant be switched on or off.
