ive had a blackberry crbe for about 4 months it is brillaiunt condition , but all fo a sudden the phone switched off and now wont turn on . ive tryed charging it but all that comes up is a empty battery sign with a red cross i had it on charge all night and have tryed 3 different chargers and 2 batterys and still nothing ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI jsut got a new battery because my last one did this. and i went to bed i left it pluged into the wall charging and i turned it off. the leds were blinkin yellow dunno if thats normal nvr doen this before. and when i woke up i cant get the phone on and all i can get is battery blue charging symbol. Ive tried taknig it out and waiting 30 seconds while its pluged in and hasnt done anything. any suggestions?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI can't turn my phone on.For the last week, every time I plugged the charger in, the screen would go white, and then a battery with a red cross through would show up.If I removed and replaced the battery several times then eventually it would reboot, I took to a phone shop yesterday and they unscrewed the phone and re-screwed it together again, and the battery sign didn't appear again and appeared to be working fine again.However, last night I attempted to charge the phone again, and the battery sign appeared again and now will not go off. The phone is completely useless. I've tried a new battery, with no luck. What should I do?

On recharging the red light goes off after a couple of minutes and soon after a battery with a red cross icon appears on the screen .Does this mean the battery, phone and sim card are wrecked. Last night, I went to charge my BB after the battery had drained to find on the screen a drained battery icon with a red cross/line through it. I had reloaded the set up on my phone and it still does not work and it seems that the white loading bar under the icon still loads after it has appeared and stops at around 75%.Will a new battery fix this?As I have said, I have reloaded and wiped everything on my phone and I have also tried the 'take out the battery while it's charged, put it back in method', nothing happened.

I was on it one day on bbm and it died so when I got home I charged it up then went to turn it on but after 2 seconds of the rebooting screen a battery with a red cross appeared giving me the indication my battery was low I let the rebooting process continue but at about three quarters of the way through it froze, so I pulled the battery out after leaving it too freeze for over an hour and carried on doing that. It didn't work a few weeks later I tried it again it worked but then today it ran out of charge and when I tried to turn it on it does the same thing even know I have 100% charge as my other blackberry (which can only use facebook for some reason) said I had 100% in the status option screen.

After this when I switched on my hand set.. then I found a battery symbol with a red x and the phone is not booting OS. I am not sure what that means but my phone won't turn on and won't charge. I tried taking the battery out and now it turns on but the symbol is still there and the loading bar is on the screen and it won't change. I also took outmy sim card & memory card.

Is there a setting on the phone which I can check to potentially fix this problem? This is a new phenomenon. The phones were OK ( for holding their charge) when I purchased them. If it is relevant I recently spoke to my service provider about the poor signal in my area and followed their instructions to make certain adjustments on the phones to (marginally) improve the reception. Is it possible that this operation/adjustment could have changed the battery life characteristics?
