BB Curve :: Battery Had Drained To Find On The Screen A Drained Battery Icon With A Red Cross/line Through It?
Feb 9, 2011I've had my BB Curve for about a year and a half now. Last night, I went to charge my BB after the battery had drained to find on the screen a drained battery icon with a red cross/line through it. I had reloaded the set up on my phone and it still does not work and it seems that the white loading bar under the icon still loads after it has appeared and stops at around 75%.Will a new battery fix this?As I have said, I have reloaded and wiped everything on my phone and I have also tried the 'take out the battery while it's charged, put it back in method', nothing happened.

Jul 1, 2012I have a blackberry 9300 curve. I checked my phone for the time 2 hours ago and realized that it was off. I tried turning it on by the button but that didn't work. Nor did taking the battery out and putting it back in again. I then tried to plug it int the mains and a red light flashed on it for 15 or so seconds and a empty battery sign with a red cross came on screen. I have left it to charge but I still cant turn it on. What can I do?

Jul 8, 2012So a few weeks ago my blackberry stopped working. I was on it one day on bbm and it died so when I got home I charged it up then went to turn it on but after 2 seconds of the rebooting screen a battery with a red cross appeared giving me the indication my battery was low I let the rebooting process continue but at about three quarters of the way through it froze, so I pulled the battery out after leaving it too freeze for over an hour and carried on doing that. It didn't work a few weeks later I tried it again it worked but then today it ran out of charge and when I tried to turn it on it does the same thing even know I have 100% charge as my other blackberry (which can only use facebook for some reason) said I had 100% in the status option screen.

Apr 28, 2010Need Help/Suggestion from Mobile Gurus right here .I have 1 Year Old N73 ME and I mainly use it for Calling and Texting. Very Occasionally I use it for Music/Gaming and Browsing the Web.The phone is completely in excellent condition
The problem is that: While charging ONLY the Battery gets too much HOT and it never shows Battery is Full (Charged it for Max 1 Hour 45 Minutes) This problem suddenly appeared, so I formatted the Memory Card as well as Hard Format/Reset the Phone, but still the Battery is heating too much
After disconnecting the Phone from Charger, the Battery is FULL and I can use it without any problem and as usual. The Talktime right now is around 2.5 Hours and Standby time is around 2-3 Days
BB Bold :: Battery With Red Cross On Startup?
Oct 17, 2010My bold 9000 will not start up.When I insert the battery the red led start up with the normal boot indicator then it stays on with a empty battery sign with a red cross over it.The boot inicator boots up till a certain point and stays there with nothing happening further? I can not connect to the desktop manager either?

Nov 20, 2011So, I dropped my phone from a kitchen stool on to a rug.. Went to reboot it and got a blackscreen with a white battery and a red X going through it. Now, I was told it was my battery after much goolging.. I have 3 batteries at my disposale, all working at various strengths. None are changing the issue.So, Ive plugged it into my DM and it gives me 3 OS's to choose from when repairing. Ive chosen all three, with and without different batteries and no progress has been made.What can I do next? Surely my phone isnt broken from its softest fall yet?

Jul 18, 2010I have two email accounts on my storm, both Gmail. On account A, I can click on the symbol on the homescreen and open up the inbox and check my messages. Everything works normally.
On account B, I try to click on the inbox in the homescreen and my BB freezes. After I touch/click on the inbox and try to open it, the whole screen freezes and it won't respond to my touch, even if I hit the escape or BB buttons. If I hit the End (red) button, everything starts back normally. Also, if I hit the send (green) button, the phone app pops up and everything works again.Anybody have any ideas? I tried a battery pull and that didn't seem to work, neither did resetting the host routing table or service log.

Jun 7, 2010Somtimes when reading a text or using camera my Storm will re-boot and when it comes back up it will say the battery is dead. This happens after its been on the charger all night. The only way to fix it is to use quickpull. Which i have set to re-boot everyday at 5am.. Could my battery be going bad or what?

Sep 8, 2015After it is fully charged, I unplugged the charger and use it normally. From 7am until 1 pm, the battery percentage shows 100%. Quite long, huh. Amazing. So, I kept using it. After it I use the phone quite often, playing games, checking emails and stuff. I did restart my phone occasionally, especially when I am refreshing my network signal.
But, after it restarted, the battery indicator shows 88%. Sudden drop from 100%, ain't it?
But, I don't think it's an issue until the indicator shows around 40% and I keep using the phone then it suddenly off because it shows the battery is at 0%.
