My track pad doesn't work when attempting to take photos. It will not zoom in or out? Also my light behind the key pad has went out, do i have to take it in to be repaired or is there a setting?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a problem in my trackpad, my trackpad doesn't work totally, I try to restore my old back up and it works again then suddenly when I update my bb app world it my trackpad doesn't work again, I try to delete applications that I think that may causes malfunctioning or freezing my trackpad, then, I totally wipe out my bb, but the problem is still the same, trackpad doesn't work, I am using OS6, I don't know whats the cause of this problem, I try to put my backup files again and trackpad doesn't work anymore when i wipe my bb.

I was looking up on the internet & found out that there was a faulty batch with this issue.I cannot use my phone because the trackpad is faulty. View 8 Replies View Relatedi have done nothing to damage my phone. a few weeks ago, my trackpad would not work,but i plugged it into the charger and took the battery out again. about a week ago,the same thing happened and the same thing helped it. today though,it happened again,and plugging it into the charger and taking out the blackberry didnt help it. i cant get to much on my phone, as obviously i cant get to a lot as i cant use the trackpad.

The trackpad and the keyboard was not working at all. i have tried taking the back out whilst the phone is on, however this worked once and has not worked since.

I sometimes have to do this up to six times before the track button starts working again. Once the button is working, within 10 minutes to half an hour the track button becomes inoperable again and I have to go through the same procedure again.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a Curve 9300 with OS 6. I cannot return the device to the original retailer (out of warranty).This is kind of what happens.
1.)Trackpad stops scrolling after backlight switches back on. After waiting 10 seconds it works ok
2.) After an hour or so the trackpad stops scrolling entirely. The "push button" of trackpad still works though.
3.) I hard reset the device. Trackpad stops working entirely (doesnt scroll and pushing it as a button does not work either)
4.) I send phone in for repairs.
5.) If it works after "cleaning and reseating trackpad" my phone works fine for a few days. Then problem starts all over again.
6.)If cleaning does not work, they replace my trackpad. This usually works for a few weeks to a month. Then the problem starts all over again?I am getting sick of having the phone getting sent in for the trackpad to just be replaced again and again.
I'm a Pay monthly user with a BB 9360 Curve, I can send messages to people but I cannot receive theirs I can't send requests or accept requests!My bill is paid and upto date so thats not the problem.I have tried deleting BBM and restarting re-installing and all that jazz. Battery pull sim pull everything I can think of and I still cannot use the BBM Feature?

When it restarts the entire trackpad won't work, even the button. The only way I've been able to get it to work again is to restart it until it does! It usually takes about 7 restarts until the entire trackpad will work, then it restarts again.

It does have tactile feedback, and you can feel the button depress, but on the phone, nothing happens.I've tried everything (hard resets, soft resets, battery pulls, etc) but it still doesn't work.I was starting to get used to just hitting the Enter button on the keyboard until my girl turned of the 'Mobile Networks' in the radio menu somewhere. When you're trying to turn it back on using the enter key, all it does is go to the next selection. View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I got my first BB 6 months ago! I loved it I babied it! I never had a phone do so much keep me so entertained. Keep me so up to date with everything> I left the G1 for the BB and it was still much better I could contact friends I could not any other way with the BBIM. Then one day she died in her track ball! So I had to replace her. That was 2 months into the love affair I was having with the BB.
So I got the replace meant and it was harder than anything to tell her by. I could tell my wife by with ease but not her. I loved her! She was my best friend my companion I never left her behind! So many bars so many experiences SO MUCH TROUBLE ELIMINATED. But she had to go, Like a horse with a broke leg she was worthless!
So on to my second one not so much babying as I still thought of her predecessor. She could never be HER! I however gave here a chance! and we grew a bond unlike no other.
we were inseparable every where together only a handful of hungover days did I forget to bring her with me to work. I m,ade up for that many a time!
She finally committed suicide of the track ball as well. Following her predecessor. So I had to replace her again but this time I had new knowledge of how to use her while I waited. I also had a callous numbness to her loss from my first marriage to a BB! So I was not hurt or lonely!
So as I awaited my replacement BB Curve 8900. I did not care as soon as it arrived she was done she was gone to the wayside! I hope you can be refurbished but I can never trust you ever!
My new mistress arrived I opened her fondled her and loaded her with all I had! Only to find out I had been burned. She did not work for data. or incoming calls. She was a teasing *****! So back to my previous mistress! With no track ball while I fight for a free upgrade due to have gone through 3 BB 8900 in 6 months WTF
Bis works all other apps work including facebook etc by bbmt refuses to wori. Internet browsing episcopal techs in S.A
