I (stupidly) changed the password on my handset then forgot it, I typed it in too many times, thinking when it said "handset will be wiped" they meant of pictures and contacts, so I remover my memory card and carried on (my contacts are all backed up so I didn't worry about them)turns out they meant wipe everything including the operating system.

Back in July I brought my girlfriend her first Blackberry, a Curve 8520. With this set-up she has a password lock for the screen, which works fine and she knows exactly what she's doing with. Then about four weeks down the line she tells me she woke up one morning, typed in her password but was told it was wrong and she had 9 attempts left. After looking more closely at it, it was actually asking for a device password - which neither my girlfriend nor me has ever set up on the Blackberry. After doing some research the first time, we tried everything - connecting it to device manager, inputting letters instead of numbers, etc. but eventually had to wipe the phone. So then after setting the phone up for a second time straight after, this morning she tells me the same thing has happened again and she's had to wipe her phone.
I was given BB8300 with the phone having permanently enabled password (tiny padlock sign). How to remove the padlock and disable mandatory password????. I do not keep any state secrets on my phone and is a pain to input a password every time I check a time.

I misplaced my blackberry (bb) and locked it via bb protect online. When I found my bb I entered the password(pw) but it kept saying incorrect pw. Now I'm trying to reset the pw on bb protect but it keeps saying the current pw I've entered is incorrect.
I was playin with my girl's phone tryin to guess her password and after too many attempts the phone seems to have factory reset. The pictures are still loaded so I believe the SD card wasn't reformatted. How do I reset it?
My Curve 8520 is asking for a password which I have no clue to what it is to unlock the phone. I had a password before consisting of 4 digits, but I removed it as I found it quite annoying. But now it's asking for a password and it isn't those 4 digits. But now I've got 1 try left until "information will be erased". What to do ?
When I use the shortcut lock, my phone locks the keypad, but instead i want it to be the password lock. I used my dad's phone and tried his shortcut lock and it works on his phone. what do i do to lock my phone using the password lock?
I have been looking all over the web for the 16 digit password for cdma workshop for a Verizon Samsung Tablet, but have had no success. I tried the Samsung Default one, but no luck. It says "the phone does not accept the password".
I know it is a problem with the galaxy s5 the when it is switch to the pin code to unlock the phone it does not unlock the phone. I have tried the google device manager which when i did it tells me that the google password that i want to set can not be done due to that there is already a password on the phone. and i have not set up a samsung account.
I have been researching different ways to unlock my phone for 3 days now. i do not want to reset the phone...

Somehow I am a huge idiot and decided to put a password on my phone when I was drunk. And I have no idea what I put it as.. I always put it as the same password, but now I enter it and I cant get in. Is there any way around this? or am I screwed and lose everything in my phone.Secondly, would my contacts be saved to my sim card? Or is there any way to get them off before I have to wipe it.
My Wife is en route to South Africa and has inserted her South African SIM card into her Blackberry phone. The phone is asking for a username and password or all information will be lost. Is anyone able to assist, as I would have thought, it would have just required the SIM card pin number to be entered and then the Blackberry service to be activated on that SIM.We are based in India and the Indian SIM has never required a SIM code. The phone is not network blocked, so now at a loss, as my wife will not be ale to communicate.
Google alerted me to suspicious login activiity to my account last night, so I changed my email pass. I'm trying to update the password in my Blackberry email settings, but getting error messages. It keeps saying I'm typing the last password incorrectly, but I'm not. What can I do differently?
I did a search, and couldn't find it for the tour. I want to put a password on for every time I lock it, it needs a password, or something like that. I want under security option, general etc and still could not find anything.
