I have managed to delete all the data off my phone, after trying to connect the phone to my pc to retrive a photo of my daughter.restore this data as I have loads of phones numbers I need to get back.
View 1 RepliesI had an incorrect password attempt(10 times) i guess. This lead to factory reset to my phone. While logging back in, the motoblur account retrieved all my previous accounts but all my phone and memory card data is completely gone. Not sure, if it was a factory reset or the andriod upgrade which did that. Is there a way to find out ? And i really need my important data back. I assume the data is not literally deleted from the phone or card memory, but is there a way to retrieve it. I had a backup activated but not sure where to restore it from and how long was that backup updated.

I then log on to my email through a computer and have zero issues. So it makes me think it's either a problem with my phone, or with Yahoo. I have changed the password using my computer and my phone (options, device, blackberry id). I can log into my account on the Blackberry website using the updated password but when I try to activate the email account with the password it says incorrect. I have checked the box to show the password so I know that the password has been entered correctly. I've tried about 5 times.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was trying to sync the unit with my PC the other day to back -up my contacts and SMS messages when it prompted me to enter a password. I initially keyed-in the password that I inputted to the device when I got surprised that it prompted an error message (I remember my password really well and normally do not have problems with this.). Thinking that since I am syncing my phone device to my PC, it might be prompting for my PC password (as opposed to my phone password), so I also tried my PC password, again an "Incorrect Password" message. Thinking it might be some default password, I also tried 1234 and 12345 and still both failed! Now, I am down to my last try (4/5 tries already), or else "All information will be erased".Is the password being prompted my ORIGINAL phone password? Does syncing the phone with the PC "change" the password of my device to that of my PC? Also, since my password includes numerals, I am now suspecting that I may not have pressed the Alt Key hard enough to properly register the numerals? Although in the past, I didn't really encounter a similar problem keying-in my password that's why all this is a surprise for me.I am tempted to use the touch screen qwerty for my last try to ensure that I am typing in the right password, inclusive of the numerals. I just need a reassurance that the phone password is the same, and that syncing the devise did not change it.

No matter what I do in setting up my primary account on my iphone it keeps telling me my username and/or password is incorrect. I'm 100% sure it's correct. This is for a friends iPhone 4S. She always forgets her itunes password so I went to reset it for her through her phone. I went through everything and it said that it was reset to the new one. So then I updated her apps and that worked just fine. Then I went to download Pandora for her and it told me that her password was incorrect. Clearly it wasn't. I tried a few more times and it still didn't work. So then I reset it again. I tried resetting her password about 10 times and it still always says that it's wrong. I don't know what is going on. I've also tried restarting her phone and still nothing.

The strange thing is when I plug power into it, I can see the screen for a moment then it dims. It will ring, but you cannot answer, as I said, none of the keys will prompt the phone to do anything. I connect the phone to the PC and it detects and asks for password. Here is my problem. When I type in the password, it says it is the incorrect password. I know this is the password. My exchange for gmail was working fine. Email, contacts and calendar. Then I was asked for the password because a pop up said it was incorrect. No matter how many times I enter the correct password, it stills says incorrect. I have tried the following
1. Delete and reinstall all email accounts several times. When I re-create the gmail exchange everything verifies and a minute later, I gt the pop up.
2. Delete iCloud account
3. Change password and try again
4. Add gmail account under gmail and that works fine but I'm still not getting my contacts.
5. Unlock captcha. When I follow the link I get a screen saying my identity needs to be verified and them I click okay and the screen says I have 10 minutes to use password on device. I never get he option to enter the scrambled code on my PC or phone Tried google double verification. None of these have worked despite multiple attempts. I have recently switched to google chrome and am using it under my PC laptop and iMac.

After the IT person had done this, so that my BB is now synched with my work Outlook program, I found that I had all my work contacts in the BB and had lost all the personal contacts which had been on the BB before he got to work on it. They had not been backed up. I guess tehre's no way to restore them is there? I then backed up my wife's BB contacts from her old Curve 8320 onto my Mac using the BB desktop software. But when I tried to restore that data to my BB, it said that it was a read-only database and could not be restored.
