BB Curve :: Stop Texts Being Automatically Deleted?
Apr 15, 2012My texts seem to get deleted after about 2 weeks and I want it to stop .. how do i do this? also .. is there any way i can get back messages that have been lost? like are they stored anywhere else?
also, i used to be able to type in somones name on the homepage and it would come up with all the texts from them, my facebook interaction with them e.t..c and now this has stopped too .

Jan 8, 2012while changing the BB ID, it prompted to wiped off data, which i okayed it, assuming that it will delete only BB ID sceen data, but actually it delleted all the data in handset. How do i recover my contact list and BB M list ? is there any recovery software to recover this ?

Nov 24, 2012I have a BB Curve 9300. It was updated yesterday to connect with the Blackberry server at work. After the IT person had done this, so that my BB is now synched with my work Outlook program, I found that I had all my work contacts in the BB and had lost all the personal contacts which had been on the BB before he got to work on it. They had not been backed up. I guess tehre's no way to restore them is there? I then backed up my wife's BB contacts from her old Curve 8320 onto my Mac using the BB desktop software. But when I tried to restore that data to my BB, it said that it was a read-only database and could not be restored.

BB Storm :: 9550 Won't Stop Transmitting Data
Dec 14, 2011Originally I thought that it was doing an update of some sort, but it hasn't stopped for a couple days now. It drastically reduces the battery life and sometimes for a couple hours the transmitting just stops. Even when its just connected to wifi it is still transmitting data. No other programs are open besides the messages app, BBM, the home screen, phone, and the browser.

When I do a battery pull, when the phone first comes on, it says EDGE at the top and apps such as twitter, sirius sat radio, and bb app world all work fine for about an hour. Eventually, the EDGE changes to edge (as I believe it should, since I have no data plan) and these apps stop working- well they work, but won't connect. The browser still works fine. Data services set to on, roaming off, connection=wifi preferred. Is this to be expected since I don't have data? I don't remember having this problem before I upgraded to v5...

This happens when connected via WiFi and even when opening Settings - the place where you turn mobile data on and off! How can I disable this annoying alert and has a bug been submitted as it is incor behaviour to moan about mobile data when INET connectivity is present via WiFi.Â
BTW, this interface for this site is tragically bad when using an iPhone 5 in landscape mode. It doesn't "just work"

Apr 16, 2012I had an iPhone 3 that was backed up on my PC's iTunes. It broke, so I got an iPhone 4S. Because of computer issues, I was not able to sync my new iPhone until tonight, about a month after I bought it. I already had some contacts and pictures on my iPhone 4S that were not saved to my computer or on my old iPhone 3. When I synced it for the first time, I restored the data that was on the iPhone 3 and deleted everything on the 4S. Even though my iPhone 4S data had not yet been backed up, is there any way I can get it back?

While logging back in, the motoblur account retrieved all my previous accounts but all my phone and memory card data is completely gone. I keep on getting messages pop up from random people I have never heard of. How do I stop this? I do not want to receive BBM messages from anybody, nor do I want the annoying blue icon to appear every time some random person tries.

Aug 15, 2012Alright so my blackberry curve has been rebooting for quite some time now but it always manages to come back to normal at one point, but today, all day today, its been rebooting and I have no idea why. Right now it died and I put it in the charger and it's still rebooting. It turns on, the red LED light comes off the clock timer thingy pops up and it restarts again.. it doesn't even get to the starting up bar..
