For some reason my password isn't being accepted, i've now reached the last attempt. I KNOW the password is correct. Its the same password I have for everything. I've even tried other things that I might have used but none of them are working. What do I do? I've tried to do it through desktop manager but its still saying its the wrong password. If it wipes it, will I be able to use it ok?

When she tried to log back in using her Blackberry ID, she was unsure of the password, tried and failed to answer the security question, so we have tried to reset her Blackberry ID password online.When we go through the steps to reset her password via an email, no password email is received. I am checking the email on a PC (not the Blackberry) and have checked the junk email folder, but no reset email is received.

Up until yesterday the Nokia Messaging app worked superbly with my E72.But then it wasn't able to connect to the messaging servers and instead kept asking me for my password to the Nokia Messaging service. As I sadly forgot it I tried to retrieve it and therefore got a temporary password from the Nokia Messaging team. My problem is now that even with it I couldn't log in to my account and set up a new password.

So I changed the password (they made me use an uppercase letter and eight characters, whereas before it was simply six lowercase letters - what's up with that?). Ok, so as a student, coming back from the US to my home country, I had to change the sim card on my BB to use my phone and its features.
It asked me for my bb id and security password. I tried my default password (which had worked when I was moving to the US in the first place) but for some reason it did not work. I did what every normal person would do and set the password reset option.
It did not work and I tried every possible password till 9/10 attempts had been made. So I decided to just back up my stuff and do the data wipe. But then, after 10/10, all it did was lock me out for 15 minutes. So I took out my sim card and put it back in again, and suddenly, my phone was working fine! i don't know how, but I wasn't complaining. But then I have to reset the phone for some reason and voila! Security password being asked again and Im locked out again.
So in short, is there anyway I can get my password to work or at least do a data wipe so I can access my phone.
I entered my email on the BlackBerry Protect password retrieval webpage in order to reset my password, but I have not yet received an email and it's been over 12 hours now!!!
My BB has been playing up for the last 4 months (i've only had it for 10 months!!), and in the last week I noticed that whenever I use email, messenger, and texts all my letter 'i's are missing the dots above them. This is preventing me from sending emails as the letter is not recognised. So I figured I would backup and restore my BB to 2 weeks prior.
I can't backup to an earlier date without signing in, but as I said earlier I don't remember my password, and still no email with my password has been emailed to me!
I had the Fingerprint passcode on my iPhone and did some updates online on the mac with my device connected. After the phone my phone restarted its self from the updates its requiring a PASSWORD not the finger print but I didn't have a password on my phone only the touch password. What can I do to resolve this issue?

Blackberry Tour keeps giving me error that password for my email is wrong I'm having the problem now with my hotmail email on my BB since yesterday. I've tried to remove my battery, I've entered it like 30 +times, I even deleted the email from my phone. Now I can't add it back, it keeps saying that it's an invalid password and it can't validate, and to contact hotmail.com. I even changed my password on hotmail.com, I just logged into my hotmail on the actual computer with the correct same password, the same one that my BB won't take. When I put in my password on the email setup page it says, "Processing, please wait..." Then I get this error, "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If the error persist, contact hotmail.com. " I have other email accounts on my phone that are working just fine.

Whenever I tap the lock button located at the top of the handset, it seems to only invoke the lock mechanism to stop error entries or calls when in your pocket, it's not locking handset to a point where you require password? I know I can lock it via the bb key but that's tidious. Anyone else experiencing this or annoyed with it?

I received message saying I needed to validate my email address and password because I am no longer receiving emails to my phone. I tried to log in and the username and password don't work. I've never had to use this password and email until now, therefore is should not have been changed. I don't know how to fix the settings at all especially since I can't log into my settings!

I went in to try to re-register them, and it won't allow me to. It asks for my alternate password, and doesn't recognize it. I know I'm typing in the correct password.
If I click on change alternate password, it accepts it, and asks me to type in a new password (twice). Upon the second time, an error message pops up saying there is an issue with the scanner and to restart the device, which I've now done three times.For now, I was able to change to pattern unlock.
Had to change my password for my email and now I get the sign-in failed message and my new pw is not working on my samsung s 5.

To get it back, i enabled a password. Then it came back. So i figured i would just disable it and the icon would still be there and functional like it was with 4.7, it's not, it dissapears again.Is there anyway to get the icon back where i can just hit * and the phone icon to unlock, I know this is minor, but it is what I like.Also, with 5.0 my standby mode is not working anymore, any thoughts?*on a side note, I'm not a fan of my BBM and SMS looking a like and co-mingling when I have someone as a contact and BBM contact, just a preference.can someone get my lock icon back working without a password?

I delete the password, reenter it, it says: Updating Facebook service. The progress bar loads halfway and then says Internal server error occurred. Please try again. PROBLEM
I reseted password for Apple ID 1
after password reset, phone 1 and phone 2 can not send iMessage to each other's phone numbers (goes as text message). Can send iMessage it to each others email address and all other phone numbers/email addressesÂ
SOLUTIONS TRIED
- reactive iMessage with toggle switch
- network settings reset
- deleting our all old messages
- restart phone at various steps aboveÂ
OBSERVATIONS
I do see phone number under Settings | Messages | Send & Receive | YOU CAN BE REACHED.... on both phones selected,
however, it is grayed out unlike email addresses below
My wife turned her Galaxy S5 on yesterday, slid her finger across the scanner to open the phone and it came up with the print not recognised message (as it has many times before). This time however, it did not allow her to scan her print again. the screen changed and asked her for a back up password, not a problem as she has done this a fair few times too, it just seemed strange that it only allowed one stroke of the scanner before asking for this. We have tried her back up password many times (and any other password we could think of) but the phone will not unlock, nor will it return to the normal lock screen and allow her to try her print again.
We have logged onto Android device manager and tried the lock screen hack (to obtain another password) but it just tells us that the screen is already locked so another password is not necessary.
I have a BB curve 8330 and somehow a password was set that I am trying to remove but I can't. Whenever I need to use the device, a screen pops up that asks for my password - why is this and how can I go about removing this?
