I have a BB curve 8330 and somehow a password was set that I am trying to remove but I can't. Whenever I need to use the device, a screen pops up that asks for my password - why is this and how can I go about removing this?
My Curve 8520 is asking for a password which I have no clue to what it is to unlock the phone. I had a password before consisting of 4 digits, but I removed it as I found it quite annoying. But now it's asking for a password and it isn't those 4 digits. But now I've got 1 try left until "information will be erased". What to do ?

My blackberry curve 8520 comes on right to the home screen but after the screen goes black & I can't see anything. When I plug in the charger & pull it out that's how I get to see the home screen. It refuses to let me enter my password to get into the phone.

For some reason my password isn't being accepted, i've now reached the last attempt. I KNOW the password is correct. Its the same password I have for everything. I've even tried other things that I might have used but none of them are working. What do I do? I've tried to do it through desktop manager but its still saying its the wrong password. Had to replace the SIM card on my Curve 9360 today and now it won't recognize my BlackBerry ID or password. It just says "please wait" and then does nothing for literally hours. I can log in to the BlackBerry website fine so I know my login and password are correct. My cell phone provider says it is a BlackBerry issue. The log in screen gives you 10 tries to log in before it wipes your phone and I'm on try #8.

I have a hotmail account.I changed my password on my laptop for hotmail and do not know how to change the password on my curve 2.The curve tells me to "'validate password".When I enter the new password in the box and hit "next", it is an invalid password.
I finally installed blackberry desktop so that I could upload some music to my 9360. When I hooked up my phone it asked for my password which I entered only it hasn't accepted it. I'm now down to my final go and don't really want to end up wiping my phone, I know I probably should have stopped trying sooner but I was frustrated.
It appears that the desktop software has changed my password, is there some sort of default it would have changed it to or am I destined to lose all the data on my phone?
My daughter tried to upgrade her BBM last night. When she tried to log back in using her Blackberry ID, she was unsure of the password, tried and failed to answer the security question, so we have tried to reset her Blackberry ID password online.When we go through the steps to reset her password via an email, no password email is received. I am checking the email on a PC (not the Blackberry) and have checked the junk email folder, but no reset email is received.

I can't unlock my phone and I'm using the correct password. I'm at my final attempt to enter the password or ALL of my personal information will be lost!! I just got off of the phone with customer service and was told basically I'm going to lose all my business contacts & personal notes that I entered this morning during my morning meeting and that it's my fault because I didn't back it up! How the heck can I back up my device while during my company meeting? I'm the owner and I have many notes and etc on my device that I put there this morning! I was locked out of my account while trying to reset my password. I clicked the "forgot password" link, entered my secret question correctly.I followed the link to reset my password that was emailed to me.I then got a generic error saying there was a problem processing your request after trying to give it a new password. It didn't say that my new password was too short, or the confirmation didn't match or that my secret question was wrong. All it gave me was an error.
