I have a hotmail account.I changed my password on my laptop for hotmail and do not know how to change the password on my curve 2.The curve tells me to "'validate password".When I enter the new password in the box and hit "next", it is an invalid password.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi just updated my curve to the 5.0 or something. on the old setting i could lock the keypad with the left convience key and then press *A and the left green phone buttons. however on having updated the phone it wont let me do this anymore. Does anyone know how i can get it so that i can lock the keypad without having to type in a password to unlock it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to be able to lock my blackberry with a password and I had to be able to just hold down the A key to do this, but after I downloaded the software upgrade to 5.0.0.508 locks the keyboard, not the phone. Also it's darn near impossible to unlock the keyboard with the mute key because I have a case on my phone. I have to pull the case off to get it to unlock.How can I get it back to just the password lock when I hold down the A key? I've tried to go into speed dial keys and update it there, but it won't let me change that one.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have the Curve 8520 and I use the In The Know theme with the bottom sliding dock. I uninstalled Facebook from my BB but for some reason only calendar appointments that have the "sent with Facebook" at the top show up on my theme's calendar home area.
I want facebook completely GONE from my black berry but there's no calendar option that lets me get rid of the "Facebook calendar" or at least change it so when I make a new appointment it defaults to starting with my email instead of stupid facebook.
Is it possible to change the icons on the display screen? For example, I'd love to put an application icon such as Facebook or Weatherbug on my display screen.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to set up my email account through the wizard set up and have been largely unsuccessful. I read a couple of posts that have given a step-by-step process. My only problem is that I don't have an option that says 'Add account.' Here are the steps I've followed:
1) Go to Email Setup
2) Choose 'I want to create or add an email address.
3) Click next
4)Click next again
5)Then, I get a message which says 'Existing Users, to log in, please provide your username and password.'
I don't have an option to add an account. When I put in my username and password into the fields, I get a message saying please enter a valid username. (My service provider already set up my Gmail, and couldn't add the other one. I told him I'd figure it out)
I just upgraded to a BlackBerry Curve and was very happy when my Password Keeper just showed up, accepted my old password and had my database. However, the find function no longer works. If I type A, is says no passwords found even though I can see a bunch as soon as I open it. So how does one fix and non-functioning password keeper find function. It is painful trying to get to the ones that start with "Z!"

View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen my calendar reminder pops up it gives me the option to end the reminder or snooze for a preiod of 5 mins. This is far too short so I went to Calendar, Options, General Options and under Actions set the Default Reminder to 15 min and saved the change.When a reminder pops up the snooze time is still 5 minutes despite the change I made. Very annoying!What can be done to set the reminder time to anything other than 5 mins ? Have I changed the wrong field, or is this a bug?

Recently I had to change my email password on the computer, and it caused my blackberry to no longer be able to send or receive my emails. So I went back into setup and went to the email set up so that I could change my password on my phone, but when I click the "Email Accounts" button in set up, it doesn't go anywhere.
