Jul 21, 2011I have been told I cannot save my data if I miss at my 10th attempt. I didn't backup:-( I said there has got to be a way, for God's sake Barack Obama has a Blackberry!!! If I have every possible piece of identifying information? Will I lose all my photos? They are more valuable than anything to me. And it wants me to enter my backup password. I don't remember what it is. The phone is not locked. I use different security - pin, pattern, etc. But I cannot access fingerprint section. Feb 16, 2010i forgot my security password that the cellphone asks for unlocking the keypad what can i do in order not to lose all my informaton.i've tried 4times to put the password and its incorrect,i have a last try baut then it says that all the info will be erased.Is there a way to backup or unlock it..?I also tried wth the cd to backup but i can't because it needs the password.

Aug 31, 2010I just had some apps signaling me that it was time to upgrade them. I went to do so and it wanted me to enter my password. Not sure why it wasn't automatically logging in as it had done so before. Tried the "Forgot password" option and it didn't have my email address on file. I then tried every email address that I have thinking I used a different one and could never get it to work. Went to the AppWorld website and did the same thing with the same results.
So then I figured I'd just create the account again with the email address being used for the BB (which is what I thought I had done before). I went ahead and set up the account, and submitted and I waited for the email to activate my account. I never got the email and thought I did something wrong. Tried again and it told me the username and email was being used. I still can't get the account to work and if I am supposed to get an email to activate the account, I haven't received one.

Oct 18, 2012I have a BB 8530 on MetroPCS (CDMA) network. I saw thier was some updates for BB protect and a bunch of other apps so i updated them. After the reboot, it asked me for my keypad lock pass and upon entering it, it would not accept it. I know that what i am entering is correct as i entered it prior to the reboot.
i have tried diffrent variations of it with CAPs and symbols corresponding to the keys i KNOW are my pass but still no use. I am on 9/10.
I have logged in to my BB Protect online and tried to change the pass from thier but it keeps saying the current password is wrong which is impossible. Is there some deafult password it reverted to that i can try. I have tried everything.

May 16, 2014So I downloaded Foxfi, which required me to put a pin on the phone. I put one in, but apparently I put in a different pin than I intended. So now I'm locked out of my phone which has a pin password. Is there any way to get by this without a factory reset?
I have tried intentionally getting the pin incorrect, but not forgot pin or opportunity arises to log in via Google, in which case I would have my phone back.
I have also tried using Android Device Manager, but it is requiring me to "Set Up Lock And Erase" before I do anything on that.
I have also tried hooking up the phone to my computer, but the internal storage won't mount until I get the passcode right and mount the device.

I've been researching forums and seems to be the case that lock is indefinite.
