Aug 18, 2011I suddenly lost sight of emails from message list, it tells me i have 51 emails but i can't see them. i can't see old emails or ones sent from my blackberry either.

BB Curve :: Lost Username For Emails?
Oct 6, 2011I had my email account set up on my blackberry and was getting all my emails through no probs then I got a message to say I had to verify my password so had to type in a username and password but I was never given a username and have no idea what it is or where I can find it?I have contacted o2 who have said to contact blackberry but Im not having much luck?

Sep 15, 2010is there any possibility of retrieving lost or deleted emails from my blackberry account? I tried RIM support & they said they have no way of doing this as the emails do not stay on there server at all. I have lost emails from Oct of 2011 that I had kept on my device. They were on my device as much as a few days ago, & now simply have vanished! I have not deleted them myself at all either?
Unfortunately, I have not backed up my device for more than 3 months ago & I had not saved the messages as I was n ot experiencing any email issues before. My email management settings are set to hold "Forever" as well? I am extremely puzzled with this situation that I could have prevented.
I am with Bell Mobility in Canada (province of Ontario) & I was wondering if there is any other solution that any of you techies out there might now of? Is there any software or company that any of you might be able to recommend to assist me?

Dec 18, 2011I have a Nokia C6. everything was good, emails via wifi, surfing. then i made a software update via ovi suit. lost my accounts, the email wizard wont work so i cant reset my mails, cant surf.any solutions to this problem.I dont have a nokia care center close by and need my phone 24/7

Apr 21, 2010I started using Gmail Exchange for my gmail account, its great however i lost the ability to "search emails on server" for example if "Rob" has sent me and email 2 days ago and still shows on my iPhone i can search for it, but if the email no longer sync with my iPhone and i need to hit "Search email on server" it doesnt find it, this feature was working with no problem when i was on imap, is it only me or is this feature broken on gmail exchange?

Jan 1, 2012A few months ago, I purchased a BlackBerry Bold 9780 for personal use, with T-Mobile service. I'm on OS 6.0 Bundle 1879, using BlackBerry Desktop Software v. 6.1.0.35. I set up six email accounts on the BB device; each is a web-based, POP account hosted by GoDaddy, and each is also set up on my desktop computer Outlook (with messages for all six accounts set to be deleted from each host account upon download to Outlook). I am not using BlackBerry Enterprise Server or MS Exchange Server.For a couple of months, everything worked fine. Email received by any of the six accounts was received at about the same time on Outlook and my BB device. Synchronization of Calendar appointments for my BB-device default account worked fine in both directions. (I understand that BlackBerry Desktop Software is incapable of synching appointments from email accounts other than the account set as default on the BB device, which is a significant limitation but not the subject of this post.)Since BB's disastrous outage in October, I have experienced major problems with email received and appointments related to my BB-device default account (only):
1) Email for my BB-device default account that is received in Outlook takes at least two days to push through to my BB device, and is usually never received on the BB device. This problem does not effect the other five email accounts set up on my BB device; all six accounts are hosted by GoDaddy and are owned by me.
2) Calendar appointments do not synchronize in either direction between Outlook and my BB device.
3) Calendar appointments sent from my BB device are frequently not received by recipients.

Nov 18, 2010I use Hotmail for email. It used to be that if I moved a message to a folder in hotmail (on my laptop) and then deleted it from my inbox on the BB, the message would still be in the folder. Now it seems that if I delete a message on my BB, it deletes it from my email account, no matter where it's stored. Is this new or do I need to change a setting to fix it? I have lost several important emails by assuming they were safe in a folder and then deleting them on it.

Jun 11, 2010My husband and I bought Blackberry Curve 8530s last night. We had all our contacts in our blackberrys when we left the store, I was even assigning ring tones to certain people already. I downloaded blackberry for facebook later that night and all my contacts were suddenly gone. I've tried to manually put in contacts, click save, and then no contact shows up. There are no filters checked in the contacts so I know it's not that. Any other ideas?

Jun 11, 2012I have had no emails on my blackberry account for a month now. First I received a message from blackberry to say that I needed to verify my password. I did that but I still can't get my emails. Tried tweeting blackberry but very unhelpful. After asking if my email address was a google or hotmail one (its not, its an Australian telco called optusnet) they said I needed to contact my provider. Issue is that my email is through one telco - optusnet while my mobile account is with another - Vodafone. Which provider am I supposed to contact?

Sep 27, 2011I was on the 3 network for 6 months but struggled to get a good signal so i changed to Orange. I rang them up, had the config texts come through to my phone and it was all going great for 3 days. I then put my old SIM card back in the phone to see if i had any texts on my old number. After that i put the Orange SIM back in and now all my email accounts have vanished. When i go to the email wizard it lists my email accounts and says i need to re-enter my passwords to access them. I do and it just says "Sorry unable to continue your session. Please log in again".
I can't get anywhere, i'm stuck in this neverending cycle of being asked for my password the being told i can't continue, i know my passwords are correct because i've checked them.
BB Curve :: Cannot Add Emails To It
Aug 6, 2012I cannot log into the email setup page I forgot my username and password for the email setup. This is a new phone and on my old phone I had no problem logging in. Now I cannot log in to my new phone's email setup page, because of a forgotten username. I have entered my username that I have with blackberry and also my screen name and neither one works. How can I retrieve my username so I can finally add my email addresses, please help, I have been trying to log on since yesterday. Jun 20, 2011New Blackberry Curve 9330 user.. all was going well until I downloaded a theme from Blackberry App World.. suddenly if I go to menu, Options.. all it opens up is the folder of themes.I finally got back to orig theme, deleted the downloaded theme, but my Options go no where now.Very afraid I've busted my new phone! Of all things to lose..OPTIONS!Any fix for this to return phone to original state or reconnect that icon to the actual Options?

Mar 23, 2011I have a Curve 8530 and I have never had any problems with it until now. I was using the txt app and then out of nowhere the app disappeared. I had it set to the button on the right side of the phone as well as on the home screen. I have looked in all folders and tried pushing the side button many times now and I cannot find it anywhere. I cannot recieve sms txts anymore, although i can recieve MMS. Somehow I can go to the compose app and still send a sms though. I went into the message app and went options, general options, SMS and Email Inboxes, and then set that to combined hoping to solve issue, and thats where my MMS are now located, but none of the SMS.

Sep 17, 2012Basically I can't access my emails - the star/asterisk sign shows up on the menu to show that new messages have come in (and I know they have because I can see them on my laptop) but when I click any of the email icons (the general 'Messages' one, or the two separate email accounts I have) they just take me to text messages rather than email messages.
