I have went Blackberry's https website [URL]. I Log in with my account and tried to find the Blackberry "App world" application and I am not able to locate the application to install. Is it possible to download this application using only "https" ?

If you have content protection enabled on your device, please disable and try again."My BB Curve 9300 is properly connected to my PC via a USB Cable and I have done this downloading process many times before, but now I can't seem to download anymore because of this bothering problem.

We are unable to access a https secure site [URL] using a Blackberry 8500 series model (Curve 8530). Other smartphones including other Blackberry models and all Android and iPhone models access the site fine.The error our client received is:"The server returned the following error: Access Denied: Insecure SSL Request" then if you click Ok it says "Unable to connect using the current security settings. Please contact your service provider". If you click More Info, it brings up this message: "Your MDS has been configured to deny SSL requests to servers that have certificates which are untrusted or expired. Try using Device Side SSL which can be modified in your TLS Options. Contact your system administrator with questions."Our clients don't have access to their MDS which is through their service provider.The SSL certificate has an alt name (Certificate Subject Alt Name) and the SSL is registered under GoDaddy and the subject name has a subdomain (tickets).

We have seen in several blog and posts that there are issues with certain BB models and certs with "subject alt names".
I've downloaded the new BlackBerry OS6 software for my Pearl 9105, however, since then, I can't access App World, when selected it just gets stuck, BlackBerry Protect is also having problems, I get the error message 'Error starting net_rim_bb_dryad_gui: Symbol 'Security.device UnderAttack' not found.'
I've uninstalled App World and reinstalled but still have the same problem.
My BB torch will not download anything form the Appliance world!! its statrs to download the program but never ends downloading, how can i resolve this and also delete what it started to download!

I have downloaded and replaced the existing version. I have re-booted by taking the battery out, etc. The software is in my applications. I have gone through every folder clicking on show all also.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAnyone know how to add a self-signed https certificate for the iPhone? I use a self-signed cert for a webUI for uTorrent via stunnel. In iOS 3.0 it wasn't much a problem; it would kick up a warning but would let you continue. In iOS 4.0 it won't let me continue without adding the cert. apparently. I get a prompt saying that the "certificate for this server is invalid." I've tried going to the webUI url in Safari on my mac, viewing the cert. when prompted, and choosing to add it to my keychain and then syncing, but I still get the same prompt with no way to continue or add the cert. I've also tried emailing my self the .cer file and adding it on my iPhone, but it still does not work.Edit: I've found the profile on my iPhone for the cert. I added, but shows it as "Untrusted".

now they changed the web email to : https://owa.XXX.XX.XX/owa which if you notice, starts with https, my problem is, blackberry is not accepting it. VPN I have a profile on my computer i am not sure how i can import it, and I am travelling tomorrow and the Staff Support in our company is closed for the weekend, anyone have a solution for this will be really really helping me a lot,

The xperia play's email app gets my emails fine though so it seems to be something to do with the default browser? I've used a third party browser (Dolphin) and https web sites work fine through it.

Now basically, i need to know how and where to transfer the Pearl theme to (while the curve is plugged in, and the pearl's micro sd is in it) then remove the SD card and put the SD card it in the pearl, then locate the theme.
When i open the folders for the micro SD card on the computer,(while in the curve) i see no folder for apps or themes. I transfer the alx and cod file into every folder there but i can't find it when i put the micro sd back in my pearl
The next thing ive tried was installing it as an app thru BB manager, it said it transferred ok, but i cant find it on the micro sd card (do they go right to the curves own memory maybe??)
My iPhone 4s freezes when dowloading emails and only responds when downloading is finished. Is this normal?

I have also attempted access through opera mini, here I manage to get to the https site however the login process fails. Appreciate your guidance in resolving this.. N.B. I had no such problems with my old Nokia E71 ... I was hoping my new BB 9700 is an upgrade...

I also have a Bold 9700. The locate phone function usually works on it, even when the 2 are side by side.

I have tried a large number of times to download it through the app world and online on my phone, however it always takes me to the same page including reviews, summary and screenshot of facebook for blackberry. From here I cannot find a way to complete the download and it often freezes on this page for a long period of time.

I've tried the option of setting via the Advanced Options > TCP/IP > APN and ticking the APN box and typing "Internet", and my App World still gives me the same error message, I rebooted my phone after the setting and tried to access the app world, still got an error message, i tried it without rebooting and the results are still the same. What do I do now?
