IPhone :: How To Add Self Signed Https Certificate?
Anyone know how to add a self-signed https certificate for the iPhone? I use a self-signed cert for a webUI for uTorrent via stunnel. In iOS 3.0 it wasn't much a problem; it would kick up a warning but would let you continue. In iOS 4.0 it won't let me continue without adding the cert. apparently. I get a prompt saying that the "certificate for this server is invalid." I've tried going to the webUI url in Safari on my mac, viewing the cert. when prompted, and choosing to add it to my keychain and then syncing, but I still get the same prompt with no way to continue or add the cert. I've also tried emailing my self the .cer file and adding it on my iPhone, but it still does not work.Edit: I've found the profile on my iPhone for the cert. I added, but shows it as "Untrusted".

Nokia :: E71x Will Not Accept Self Signed SSL Certificate
Does anyone know how you can get the Nokia E71x to accept self signed SSL certificates. I can not even access my work's webmail from the phones browser, let alone sync with my work's exchange. I have tried all avenues to download and install the SSL Certificate- download directly to phone and open but the file won't open. Email myself the file, but it states file is corrupt. The SSL Certificate is in the right format which is DER encoded binary x.509 format with the extension .cer. I have had my IT guys try the work around by following the directions located here: URL...I can not ask my employer to change their certificates- that is just not feasible. URL...but that did not work too. If there is a Nokia developer out there somewhere, please fix this. All the phone needs to do is accept the certificate and it should work. Why would Nokia produce a Smart Phone that does not accept self signed certificates and then market it as a business phone? I had two other phones that accepted it with no problem. This is unacceptable. If anyone else has any idea on how to get the phone to recognize the SSL Certificate and/or get the mail for exchange to work please let me know.

IPhone :: Just Signed Up For SquareTrade?
I just signed up for SquareTrade because I refuse to use my new sleek iPhone 4 inside of an ugly case (short of a bumper). After seeing many glass breaks etc, I decided to sign up for Square Trade. It was $5.99 a month, and there is only a $50 deductable (vs paying Apple $199 or so).Anyone else do this?

BB Bold 9000 :: Https Email Or VPN For Work
my company changed their web email, it used to be http://owa.XXX.XX.XX/exchange which used to work fine for me, as I used to set up my email for blackberry using it. on my home computer, in order to access it using Microsoft outlook or any other Email software, I have to be logged in VPN before using the software to check my emails, thus the POP3 and SMTP will only work if VPN is connected. now they changed the web email to : https://owa.XXX.XX.XX/owa which if you notice, starts with https, my problem is, blackberry is not accepting it. VPN I have a profile on my computer i am not sure how i can import it, and I am travelling tomorrow and the Staff Support in our company is closed for the weekend, anyone have a solution for this will be really really helping me a lot, Thanks a lot for your support in advance.

BB Storm 9500 :: SSL Error When Redirect To HTTPS
We have the new Stroms in house and users are complaing that the can't get to HTTPS logon screens. They were able to get to the site on their 8830's Errors; - The server returned the following error: "Access denied: Insecure SSL Request" - Unable to connect using the current security settings. Please contact your service provider - You MDS has been configured to deny SSL request to servers that have certificates which are untrusted or expired. I attempted to resolve this by doing the following; - Options / Security Options / TLS - Changed 'Allow HTTPS Redirections' = YES (didn't work) - changed from 'Proxy' to 'Handheld' (didn't work but I get a different error message) **The selected server returned an error when attempthing to fulfill you request.

Motorola :: Q9H Corporate Email Set Up / Phone Work With HTTPs?
I have had my Q for a couple of months now and have had my corporate email set up through my active sync. The emails and sync happened over the air and worked well. I believe this is also called MS Direct Push. Last week our comapny switched to a HTTPs server link and now I get errors trying to sync to it. I have set it up to use a secure Socket Layer and then it told me the certificate was incorrect. My IS guys installed a new certificate for the server and it still gives me an error code of 0x85010014. Which I am told is a temporary error and try again later. It has now been a week with no email and I continue to receive the error code. It just tells me there was an error syncing. I have uninstalled the active sync link on my phone and reinstalled my email account but I still get the error. When I went to the AT&T help thing it gave me active sync email or something which tells you to set it up with HTTPS but I don't have that ability with this phone. Using the info for MS Direct Push tells me to set it up exactly as I have. I also can connect to the internet without any troubles. I have server address, SSL (Yes/No), User name, password, & domain. Then what do I want to sync. Under the advanced options it is set to internet but can't be set to anything else. Does this phone work with HTTPs mail or not? If so how do I fix it? Please help!

Motorola :: V3xx Cannot Get Signed Version Of Opera Mini
I switched to an ATT razr v3xx and went to download opera mini 4.1 but it couldn't recognize my phone and just gave me the unsigned international version. I'm tired of the "yes use the stupid network" question, that stupid java nag thing. I had a Razr V3 and it had the "ask once" option for that phone and was a nice thing to have, to browse without interuption. I don't think it's the java in the phone because google maps works fine and gives me the just ask once option. The 4.1 beta is gone so I can't get that, so I don't know what to do. EDIT: I figured it out. I just went to the link that says "use this link if the above doesn't download for an older version" and it gave me the 4.1 signed links for the multiple, thawte, and verisign versions from the beta.

HTC :: Touch Pro Messenger That Stays Signed In?
I have been using the windows live messenger on my touch pro but my problem is that every time my phone goes into standby(when the screen turns off after a minute) the messenger logs out. Is there a way to stay logged in even when the screen turns off? or is there another messenger that supports live accounts that will let me stay signed in. I think what Im looking for is something that runs on the background for free that will let me signed in until I sign out.

Nokia :: Installing Self Signed Certificates On E51 For MfC
I have wasted a lot of time trying to get my E51 to load a self-signed certificate. I have the latest E51 firmware. I have tried every trick I have found on the web and in the N95 forum link below to no avail. My other phone is a HTC 8525 and it works fine with the same certificate. I also followed the instructions in the Nokia Mail for Exchange documentation to load certificates. The certificate is already in the format described in the Nokia documentation but in frustration I have tried every other format as well as renaming the certificate./discussions/board/message?board.id=smartphones&message.id=46283If I load the certificate onto the phone using PC Suite and then use file Manager to open it, I get "Unable to open. File type not supported"If I upload the certificate onto a web server and then point to it with the web browser I get a 'File Corrupted' error.
