BB Curve :: Cannot Receive BBMs From Another BBM User

I have a weird situation here.I have a Curve 8350i; yesterday I upgraded the BlackBerry Messenger on it from 4.6 to the latest version, 5.0.1.41. That seemed to go fine; I IMed w/several of my contacts during the course of the day.Later that day I also installed updates for Google Talk, Yahoo IM, and AOL IM; why, I'm not sure, as I seldom use them.After that I noticed that I was able to send IMs via BBM to a specific user but not receive messages back; earlier in the day after upgrading to BBM 5.01 I was able to IM this user.
My phone has been a touch wonky the last few weeks so I uninstalled BBM 5 and reinstalled; that didn't work.I shut down my BB a few times, removing the battery each time, and still, nothing.This morning I performed a wipe after deleting the contact and readding said contact. Still nothing.After wiping and reactivating my BB I then downgraded to BlackBerry Messenger 4.6. I sent test messages out and others could get and reply to them, but not this one user; again the user would get the IMs but not be able to reply. As BBM didn't seem to be the problem I went ahead and re-upgraded to BBM 5.0.I have since deleted the user again and had the user try to request me again; I get the requests and approve them and the user enters my contacts, but still cannot send me messages.
I am able to send PIN messages to this user and said user can reply to PIN messages.Basically, after all that I have done the user can receive my messages but when the user replies nothing is sent to me.

How do I reset my blackberry?? my bbm icon is still there although i dont have bbm msg's and my phone will not send text msg's.... how do i reset it?? and my networks always turn to SOS...

Few of my family have blackberry's and a lot of the time bbms or texts don't send and if they do send they get it about half hour or so later but if I message someone else who doesn't have a blackberry they get the messages straight away so it's more of a blackberry to blackberry problem I think.

I have an issue with a brand new Bold 9700. When receiving a text (SMS) the user's name is not displayed, just their mobile number details. All the details of the person are stored in my contacts on the phone, and if you click the options against the text message, it then figures out the name of the sender as it adds their name in the options to email, call, SMS etc.I went into the SMS options and initially saw that the "Show names" option was marked as "No". I thought, aha changed it to "yes" but this makes no difference.
My O/S is v5.0.0.344 (Platform 5.1.0.96)
Carrier is Vodafone in the UK
I did see other posts for updates, but these related to O/S version 4xx which seems to be a different version to mine (which also seemed strange as mine is a brand new phone), and so was kind of scared to try that on my O/S.

My iphone 4s is working fine apart from when I make or receive a call the other person cannot hear me but I can hear them. I have tried ringing a number of different numbers. Have a pressed something that has caused this.

got my Blackberry Tour 9630 2 weeks ago and had the following issue which Verizon said was a glitch and that they've never seen it before and gave me a new one...only thing is, i have the same problem on this phone!! Anyone know what the heck is going on and how to fix it??? Problem below:
If i get a text message from someone that is also a BBM contact, I get the text message in my BBM list and it has a text message symbol next to it!!! and in my text message list! i don't need to be told twice that I have a message of some sort and this is VERY annoying!

Under the clock when I get a new text or missed call I can click on the notification symbols and it pulls up my calender unread texts and phone calls. Postings from facebook and twitter and BBM groups as well (if there's an unread message of that type) but how do I get it to display my unread BBM messages does anyone know??

When I try to send text messages or to back up my info to the ICloud,everything seems to be linked to her email address and I can't get rid of it. Do I need to wipe it all out and re-install all my contacts and pictures all over again?

I just switched from a Motorola nextel phone to the 8350i. They transfered all my contacts and didn't change my DC number but for some reason I can only DC one phone number on my contacts list. All the rest come up 'user not authorized' The message also shows up on the other end when they try to DC me.

I have been trying to set up my email to my blackberry curve 8530 however it wont allow me and tells me my user name in blank or invalid. it was set up on my last blackberry but wont transfer through to this one. As far am i am aware my email address in my user name but still wont take even when i have tried on the actual website from my lap top.

My ISP has moved my email account to an imap server. The email now has a different username and password, although still the same email address. the emails are now not coming through to my blackberry curve 9300. I've tried to change the user name (in settings, email, login info) but it won't let me edit the field. Should i delete the whole account and start again? They are coming through on my 02email address but that's not very useful to me.

Then get message:"Blank User Name type a valid user name"email in user name box looks good, would I get this message if the password was wrong?

I'm new to the BB and purchased an 8330 on ebay. Everythings seems to be fine, except, not all of the pervious owner info was deleted before I got it.. I was able to go into the user info by deleting and adding my own and that worked fine. I was able to activate the phone ok.However, when I set up the email account info for my web mail account, it created an additional account and didn't replace the old owners Gmail account.
I receive my emial fine but when I reply from the phone it goes our through the Gmail and not my webmail account. Both Icons are on the screen and I have set "Hide" and "Show All". If I uncheck "Show All" the Icon disappears. If I recheck the "Show All" it is back so it must still be active in background. (I do this uncheck by opening the Browser Icon.) The old name is still there on that Gmail account.
How do I get rid of this old user info, so it won't haunt me anymore?

About three weeks ago I upgraded my BB from Curve 9300 to 9380. I copied settings using desktop software and transferred over to my new device. All apps reinstalled fine and I set five email accounts including 3 (business emails) provided through a hosting account with Media Temple. These all work fine and still do.My old phone was to be given to a colleague, so I reset the device and put all setting back to default and followed the process indicated for a new SIM. When we tried to set up email on the old device (9300) it wouldn't work giving an error message stating unable to verify account contact email provider. I am the administrator of the email accounts so I know that the settings are correct., the network provider reset all settings for email etc and BIS account details etc are all correct. The email account works through outlook and can be accessed via webmail and we've tried password change and even deleted and set a new email account up but still the same problem - error message stating user or password incorrect.
I hoped that this was a problem with the settings on the old device (9300) which we could pin down and resolve however it seems not to be as now when I try to set up a new email account on my new device (9380) I get the same problem!User password error - when the details entered are 100% correct and on a device which I successfully set up the same type of email account!

Their is a triangular symbol comes with the network .And it shows to network at a time.I am in roaming.Can't able to understand the problem.When i make call it shows 'No service currently available'.It's a 3G set and i am not activated any 3G plan yet. It is Curve 9330.

My phone has been showing an erroe message that reads "BlackBerry message memory and SIM card are full! PLease delete some SMS messages." I have deleted all my messages from my SIM card and turned off saving messages on the SIM card, I have deleted al,most EVERY SMS from my inbox and still getting that message!

I have the Blackberry curve 8520 and version 4.6. Is installed.Whenever I have installed themes I wasn't able to read SMS anymore. Actually the red light gets on (which shows all notifications) and a SMS symbol can be seen on the display, but when I look for the SMS it doesn't appear.The only way I can read new SMS are that I write a SMS on my own to be able to read the SMS I just got before! Besides I have to click twice on it until it really opens the SMS.I've even uninstalled these Themes, but nothing changed.

Problem: Boost branded 8330 not sending or receiving MMS. When I attempt to send MMS the message appears to attempt to send but ultimately fails and displays a red x next to the message.What is working: Everything else. Internet is working fine, I can send pics via email.Steps taken to attempt to fix during 6 calls to Boost customer care: The reps I spoke with had me provision the phone again, pull the battery out while the phone was on. Deleted the Transport and Client MMS service books and provisioned. Steps I have taken: Checked for service book updates, and registered the host routing table. Countless battery pulls. I searched the forums and couldn't find any other threads addressing MMS problems with Boost branded 8330's specifically. Tried sending smaller pics. My phone does display 1XEV, and under service books I have MMS Client & MMS Transport (when I look at the MMS Transport, the gateway IP shows all zeros). I've had users on almost all other carriers try to send me MMS.I've checked MMS options and message reception is enabled.
