When I try to send text messages or to back up my info to the ICloud,everything seems to be linked to her email address and I can't get rid of it. Do I need to wipe it all out and re-install all my contacts and pictures all over again?

My apple iPhone continues to ask for an old user's password when I need to update an app. The previous user was my daughter and all of her info was removed from the iPhone, her email, passwords to accounts on the iPhone, etc. Sometimes it requests my own password, but usually asks for hers. How do I completely eliminate her password to consistantly use mine?

We are giving my husband's iphone 4s to our daugther and need to erase everything but my husband's apple id is only showing his old email address. Even if we reset the password it still shows the old email address and he can't remember the apple ID for this. I just picked up a used Curve 8330. When I activated it with my carrier the previous users email is still on the phone. Is there a way to delete without their users name or password?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm new to the BB and purchased an 8330 on ebay. Everythings seems to be fine, except, not all of the pervious owner info was deleted before I got it.. I was able to go into the user info by deleting and adding my own and that worked fine. I was able to activate the phone ok.However, when I set up the email account info for my web mail account, it created an additional account and didn't replace the old owners Gmail account.
I receive my emial fine but when I reply from the phone it goes our through the Gmail and not my webmail account. Both Icons are on the screen and I have set "Hide" and "Show All". If I uncheck "Show All" the Icon disappears. If I recheck the "Show All" it is back so it must still be active in background. (I do this uncheck by opening the Browser Icon.) The old name is still there on that Gmail account.
How do I get rid of this old user info, so it won't haunt me anymore?

I have a new email so I changed my iTunes id. Now I cannot get into the app store on my iPhone 4S because it still is trying to find a password associated with my old email.Â

I set up my user Id on my Iphone 2 years ago but 12 months ago I changed ISP and I cannot change the old user ID on my Iphone to my new email address and cannot remember the old password. I have tried Settings>Store but only the new email address appears. If I try updates on my apps it asks for my old Id password and that is where I get stuck, If I go to appleid.apple com it also only tells me that I have only the new user ID. This problem seems to be within the Iphone software, do I have to do a backup and restore to factory defaults and if so are there any problems I may incur?

I have been developing iOS and Mac applications from past 2+ years. I have this question for those who work in apple or who are either associated with them by any means or probably you have faced it before. Will Apple approve or reject the application, if we have a screen or even an alert which will ask user to use their UDID in the application - use it after the user's permission. So, it is all about the alert/screen only. Does apple approve the applications that ask user consent before using the UDID?
