I have tried everything to get bbm to work I have deleted it and downloaded it again, I would just like to no dose any one know how fix this. I would try and add my friends to bbm but ill I get is waiting for authorization

I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 for Metro PCS, and for the last few days, contacts with different companies (ex. T-Mobile, Sprint etc.) cannot receive my text messages. However, those with Metro PCS can get them. Everything works perfectly fine on my phone, and ive tried the battery thing, and ive looked everywhere for possible information.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I can receive texts from everyone in my contacts and who I normally text, but this one girl in my contacts has been telling me she receives my texts but then complains when I dont answer her, but I have not been receiving these texts. So I am curious as to what could be the problem with my Iphone 4? Ive updated it to 5.1 today to see if that was the problem but we are still having issues, and I also checked that she is also using verizon.

I recently encountered an issue on my phone, I previously could receive messages and send to all my contacts within and outside my location, but last week I could only send messages to my contacts abroad and it shows delivered (D), but not read (R). However, got a call from my friend in the UK that he reads my messages and whenever he tries to reply, the messages never gets to me. He also receives my broadcast messages.

How can I Block BY DEFAULT everyone who is not on my contact list from sending me spam iMessages and FaceTime?Â
The problem is that my email address gives away that I have a Mac or an iOS device, and iMessage. I want to block all strangers, and I don't have the time or the will to block each spam phone number or email address.Â
Apple, if it not there already, implement a "From Contacts Only" Option for iMessage and FaceTime. Â

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an N97 mini and I have about 40 contacts in my phonebook.I have added the number of a friend to my contacts but, when he texts or calls me, his name doesnt show on my phone.It just shows his normal phone number +4477****.I am 100% certain that the number added is correct and is shown in my contacts. I have tried deleting and adding it again, but it still doesnt show his name.I have even tried changing the name and phone number of another existing contact to his name number, but it still doesnt show his name when he calls or texts.All my other contacts work fine.Anybody know what is happening here?Am I missing something really obvious?

1-I can't send or receive texts from certain contacts (right now it only seems to be from my boyfriend, we're both on At&t).
2-My text threads lock-up. A new text comes in, but I can't actually open the message. I can open all the previous messages, but any message at the top won't open.
My address book shows my both my email contacts and my phone number contacts. I just want to view my phone ook contacts and not the emails. How can i change this?!

Actually the red light gets on (which shows all notifications) and a SMS symbol can be seen on the display, but when I look for the SMS it doesn't appear.The only way I can read new SMS are that I write a SMS on my own to be able to read the SMS I just got before!
