My ISP has moved my email account to an imap server. The email now has a different username and password, although still the same email address. the emails are now not coming through to my blackberry curve 9300. I've tried to change the user name (in settings, email, login info) but it won't let me edit the field. Should i delete the whole account and start again? They are coming through on my 02email address but that's not very useful to me.
I've recently purchased a used 9900 and have gotten stumped on the following problem. The previous owner's emails are still coming into the general messages inbox.
Since I've gotten the device, I've done a full security wipe (multiple times), upgraded the OS to 7.1.0.402 (1333) and have gone through the service books without any success.
I've contacted the seller, who has in turn contacted Rogers Wireless to remove BIS service from his account (he switched to iphone) however, the messages from 2 of his internet based email accounts (Gmail & Yahoo) continue to be pushed to the 9900.
I've wiped the device (on-baord and via pc), I've re-entered by BBID, I've even attempted to access Rogers BIS activation page however, when I request the password to be resent, it send a blank field in the email.

I have 3 e-mail accounts going to this phone and each has a new password. I do not know what my user name is, I set it up 2 years ago...how do I retreive my username? when I click on "forgot password" it says the password has been sent to my phone, but I never receive it.
I've had to change my email address, so I made a new account in itunes, along with the apple id in the store settings on my iphone. The problem is that when I go to update apps it will still ask me the password for my old email address, I've looked in all my settings, searched the net and I wouldn't have a clue in how to change it.

I just picked up a used Curve 8330. When I activated it with my carrier the previous users email is still on the phone. Is there a way to delete without their users name or password?
About three weeks ago I upgraded my BB from Curve 9300 to 9380. I copied settings using desktop software and transferred over to my new device. All apps reinstalled fine and I set five email accounts including 3 (business emails) provided through a hosting account with Media Temple. These all work fine and still do.My old phone was to be given to a colleague, so I reset the device and put all setting back to default and followed the process indicated for a new SIM. When we tried to set up email on the old device (9300) it wouldn't work giving an error message stating unable to verify account contact email provider. I am the administrator of the email accounts so I know that the settings are correct., the network provider reset all settings for email etc and BIS account details etc are all correct. The email account works through outlook and can be accessed via webmail and we've tried password change and even deleted and set a new email account up but still the same problem - error message stating user or password incorrect.
I hoped that this was a problem with the settings on the old device (9300) which we could pin down and resolve however it seems not to be as now when I try to set up a new email account on my new device (9380) I get the same problem!User password error - when the details entered are 100% correct and on a device which I successfully set up the same type of email account!
Got my BB curve 8025 at the weekend and have encounted afew things i didnt understand serched the net and found this site which as been a god send! I'm trying to set up email but atm its only giving me the option for setting up work email account with a BB enterprise server - I just want to set up a normal email account using my normal hotmail account but i cant get any further along as it asks for my enterprise activation password - which i obviously dont have?
Also - a few friend have gien me their pin so i can add them on BBM, i type the pin and it says contact pending but the person/s im trying to add get no notification that i'm trying to add them - we try it the other way with me giving them my pin and get the same result WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
I have a Curve 8520 from TMobile (US).I also had a Pearl 8100 from Fido (Canada).I got the Curve unlocked and want to use it on the Fido network instead of the Pearl. I seem to have gotten everything working on the Curve, except for the email.I had the same email accounts (gmail, hotmail) set up on both phones, but for some reason now that I've switched over to the Curve on the Fido network, I can't send or receive email.I've checked all my settings, and they seem right.I can access the web, my Wi-Fi is set up, and I can send & receive texts. Anyone have any ideas about this email problem? Also, I can't remember my account username for the BB website to access my account online to change the email.When I ask to send my password, it says it has been sent to my BB, but of course I can't receive email, so I'm not getting it.
just deleted an old email account and set up a new one on device. however all the old contacts remain. how do i get rid of them. they only go if i delete email account but once i set up a new account the old contacts appear. theres too many i want to delete them.
I recently changed my sim card and when I went to set up my email accounts they were already listed and just needed to be validated. When I try validating it a notice says: "Sorry, unable to continue your session, log in again".I am from South Africa and on the MTN network also I was changing from a MTN prepaid sim to a contract one. Today and all of a sudden i was downloading an application from apple store using my account, but the download failed and the following message appeared: "this is not a test user account, create an account using sandbox envirnoment"This is the first time that such thing happens to me knowing that I've downloaded hundreds of applications using my account without any problem.
My colleague had a blackberry curve 8900 and this was then passed to me as he left the company. My sim works in the phone fine but I am unable to set up my email as it says there is one already set up. Im no longer in contact with my colleague and not sure what to do. Is there any way of renewing this? When I go to email setup it doesnt have the option of create new email.

Unable to receive incoming email to 1 email account on BB Curve 9330. tried several times Sprint support on phone and at store. Able to send emails from that email but it shows only on desktop. Other email accounts are running just fine.

i have my iphone synced to our familys shared user account, and i finally made my own user on the computer and i put all the music on the new itunes library, but when i plug it in it doesnt show up on the new user account, only on the old one. make it completely sync with the new library?
I am facing trouble with my iphone 4s with the software ios5.1.1.I get a pop up whenever I download using my iphone 4s saying This is not a test user account. 1.) No, my iphone isn't jailbroken.2.) I can download from my ipad2 but not from my iphone 4s3.) This is the third time this happened. My friend has problem logging in so he wants me to ask. Every time he login with his gmail account, a page appears and says "create new user account" which request for a username. If he enters his username the page says this username is already taken for someone. If he he enter a different username, it says that email is already taken to someone.
