Sep 5, 2014I Recently noticed that the user name associated with iCloud on my iPhone 5s is in another name. (Probably the previous owner) I could have sworn I changed this when first bought it but obviously not. Anyway, I want to change it to my user name now and seem to be having difficulty doing so. It won't let me delete account to add a new one in my name unless the previous password associated with the old owner is put in, and I don't have that now. It also won't let me switch off find my iphone unless old password is typed in, but it did let me turn it on without old password........strange.Â
ANyway, I have tried contacting the person I bought it off but no answer. The phone itself works perfectly, it's just I can't log into iCloud or delete old users iCloud without the password.Â

May 2, 2012I've recently purchased a used 9900 and have gotten stumped on the following problem. The previous owner's emails are still coming into the general messages inbox.
Since I've gotten the device, I've done a full security wipe (multiple times), upgraded the OS to 7.1.0.402 (1333) and have gone through the service books without any success.
I've contacted the seller, who has in turn contacted Rogers Wireless to remove BIS service from his account (he switched to iphone) however, the messages from 2 of his internet based email accounts (Gmail & Yahoo) continue to be pushed to the 9900.
I've wiped the device (on-baord and via pc), I've re-entered by BBID, I've even attempted to access Rogers BIS activation page however, when I request the password to be resent, it send a blank field in the email.

1.) No, my iphone isn't jailbroken.2.) I can download from my ipad2 but not from my iphone 4s3.) This is the third time this happened. The first time it happened was back in May, I restored and backed up my iphone. Then on July 26 this happened again, so I backed up and restored my account again. Then the problem came back just now.4.) My mom, two sisters, and one brother all use MY ACCOUNT on their devices. I use my account on my ipad and iphone 4s. So in total, six devices are using my account, two of those devices are mine. 5.) To be fair, I only experienced this problem when I put my account on my brother and sisters devices. However I don't think that's the problem.6.) Yes, I tried to sign out, turned off my iphone, opened my iphone. Yet I still get the same error.7.) My mom and siblings can download perfectly, my ipad even works, it's just my iphone that's causing trouble.

Aug 28, 2014I recently left my job at my company. They gave me my iphone and phone number which I moved to my personal account. I changed my apple id to my new email address. Problem is icloud on my iphone still wants me to sign into my old id to delete it and I no longer have the password. When I try to change the password for that old id, the email does not go out to my old email address and I can not change it with the security questions since I apparently have forgotten my own birthday . It seems like my old id is kind of partially deleted. I have tried everything including wiping the device with no luck.
