IPhone :: What Happens When Delete Account Clicked On ICloud Settings
Jun 16, 2012
I want to use two apple IDs (one for iCloud and one for store purchases) and I want to put on the other apple ID for the iCloud but its greyed out when I try to change it. The only option I have is to click on "Delete Account", so what happens when you press that? Will it delete the whole thing or just take it off?
When installing iOS 5 I somehow linked my iCloud to my moms account both on my iPhone and iPad. If I select the delete account button at the bottom of the iCloud settings, will it delete the account off of my moms phone too? She would rather not delete her iCloud account.
I Recently noticed that the user name associated with iCloud on my iPhone 5s is in another name. (Probably the previous owner) I could have sworn I changed this when first bought it but obviously not. Anyway, I want to change it to my user name now and seem to be having difficulty doing so. It won't let me delete account to add a new one in my name unless the previous password associated with the old owner is put in, and I don't have that now. It also won't let me switch off find my iphone unless old password is typed in, but it did let me turn it on without old password........strange.Â
ANyway, I have tried contacting the person I bought it off but no answer. The phone itself works perfectly, it's just I can't log into iCloud or delete old users iCloud without the password.Â
Ive got an iPhone 4 that I don't use any more and the original apple ID that I had was problematic and it was changed when I received my new phone. Now the problem I have is that in order to sell my old phone I need to delete the iCloud account but can't remember the old password and I can retrieve any information because the ID doesn't exist any more!Â
I have an iPhone 4 and am unable to delete an email account, when I go into the mail option within settings all of the account options and fetch new data are greyed out and unable to select. Ho to do it without having to restore factory settings?
I just now set up an iCloud account, and when I went to my messages, I saw that there were no contacts, just all numners. So I went to my contacts, and it turns out that there are none.
If you go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, and Calendar > Default Calendar > you're supposed to see: Calendar and Birthdays, right? But in my phone, it has Calendar with a blue dot, a Japanese text which I think also means Calendar because it also has a blue dot, another Japanese text with a green dot (I don't know what it means), and then Birthdays with a red dot. Same goes with my Notes. If I go to Notes and tap on Accounts, I'd see From my Mac, iCloud and another one with a Japanese text. How do I disable the Japanese words?
On my iPhone I have all of the iCloud settings turned to ON so everything transfers/backs up. Correct? Well, where does the photo stream photo's go? Documents & Data? For example, if I take a pic on my phone, isn't it supposed to sync to my iCloud account and add that pic to my iMac somewhere?

I purchase a iPhone from somebody and the phone has been reset but the iCloud shows that he phone has reach it max numbers of free account to sign. So how I remove a old iCloud account from this phone.
My husband and i share an itunes acct. We like this so our phones can share the same purchased content. But when we synced with icloud all of our contacts merged. This is a big problem. How can we keep separate contacts?
I want to change it to my husbands so all of our information syncs on to my iphone and our ipad, but will this completely delete my iCloud account? and by doing this how will my phone change (such as contacts, photos etc.) ?
We just upgraded three phones to iPhones 5c's. My husband did not have an iPhone previously so I logged in to his new phone with my iCloud account and now I wand to set him up with his own so how do I change it?
I changed my email address and my Apple ID, however, my iPhone still has my old Apple ID on the iCloud settings and when I try to delete it, it asks for a password for this old account that doesn't exist. How can I delete the iCloud account without it asking for the old password?
Ive given my brother my iPhone 4s but having problems as my icloud is still connected to it. How do I delete it as we can't get into the phone until that's done!
I recently left my job at my company. They gave me my iphone and phone number which I moved to my personal account. I changed my apple id to my new email address. Problem is icloud on my iphone still wants me to sign into my old id to delete it and I no longer have the password. When I try to change the password for that old id, the email does not go out to my old email address and I can not change it with the security questions since I apparently have forgotten my own birthday . It seems like my old id is kind of partially deleted. I have tried everything including wiping the device with no luck.
I bought my iphone 5S from a friend and now i want to delete icloud account. This icloud doesn't belongs to me or my friend. I tried so many procedures but unable to delete the icloud account.Â
So my iphone was recently stolen from me earlier today. I do not have an Icloud account, so "Find My IPhone" won't work for me. I have a mobile me account, and everytime I use the Find My Iphone funtion, it says location services are disabled.. any clue how to fix that or get around that?? Also, I tried setting a lock, it says remote lock pending, and says it will send me an email to confirm it, but it's hasn't...
I have two i phones one for my kids and one for me and we have one itunes/icloud account when we have i cloud on we lose our specific contact lists. can we not share i cloud?
Disappointed, Apple has no 24 hours service hotline。My mobile iPhone has been lost for 2 hours, but I lost my icloud accout password。So I can't use "find my iPhone" sevice, I'am in china now , People have to sleep
