I bought my iphone 5S from a friend and now i want to delete icloud account. This icloud doesn't belongs to me or my friend. I tried so many procedures but unable to delete the icloud account.Â
Ive given my brother my iPhone 4s but having problems as my icloud is still connected to it. How do I delete it as we can't get into the phone until that's done!
I recently left my job at my company. They gave me my iphone and phone number which I moved to my personal account. I changed my apple id to my new email address. Problem is icloud on my iphone still wants me to sign into my old id to delete it and I no longer have the password. When I try to change the password for that old id, the email does not go out to my old email address and I can not change it with the security questions since I apparently have forgotten my own birthday . It seems like my old id is kind of partially deleted. I have tried everything including wiping the device with no luck.
I am not able to sync with it as when I try to sink with my outlook 7 caqlendar, The new entriexs on the IPhoine disaper and do not sink over to my computer.
I Recently noticed that the user name associated with iCloud on my iPhone 5s is in another name. (Probably the previous owner) I could have sworn I changed this when first bought it but obviously not. Anyway, I want to change it to my user name now and seem to be having difficulty doing so. It won't let me delete account to add a new one in my name unless the previous password associated with the old owner is put in, and I don't have that now. It also won't let me switch off find my iphone unless old password is typed in, but it did let me turn it on without old password........strange.Â
ANyway, I have tried contacting the person I bought it off but no answer. The phone itself works perfectly, it's just I can't log into iCloud or delete old users iCloud without the password.Â
I have an iPhone 5s and I also had a MacBook Pro for one day before returning it. Now when I browse safari I see this on my iPhone for some reason. I see this at the bottom regarding the MacBook Pro that I returned and even wiped clean prior. I went to the iCloud settings on my phone in the manage storage section and I only see my phone. Â
I want to delete apps from my phone that I no longer want on my phone, but have the little cloud icon and wanting to know how to delete them permanently
Ive got an iPhone 4 that I don't use any more and the original apple ID that I had was problematic and it was changed when I received my new phone. Now the problem I have is that in order to sell my old phone I need to delete the iCloud account but can't remember the old password and I can retrieve any information because the ID doesn't exist any more!Â
We have an apple family consisting of an iPhone 4, iPad2, and an iphone 3G which we just upgraded to an iPhone 4 today. When we were setting up the new iPhone 4 to connect to iCloud and our apple ID we accidentally merged all the contacts via iCloud from both iPhones into 1 large contact list (the same list on both phones). We keep separate contact lists for our phones, but use iCloud to sync everything else together. I already figured out how to turn off the syncing of the contacts, but is there any way to revert/delete or however you want to word it, the contacts list back to each phone having only their original contacts? When I turned off the contact syncing in the iCloud settings it did ask if I wanted to keep the contacts from icloud or delete them so out of fear of it deleting ALL my contacts I tapped Yes to keep them (probably the wrong choice there). On my wife's new phone it is no big deal, I just manually deleted the 20 or so contacts that were added from my phone, but she has 100+ contacts that are now on my phone that I would rather not delete one by one manually. I also figure I could just do a restore from a backup on my phone through iTunes, but its been a while since I did one and I would end up loosing recent data and contacts so that isn't an option.
I want to use two apple IDs (one for iCloud and one for store purchases) and I want to put on the other apple ID for the iCloud but its greyed out when I try to change it. The only option I have is to click on "Delete Account", so what happens when you press that? Will it delete the whole thing or just take it off?
For storage reasons, i want to delete photos from my iPhone 5 but, if I read the instructions correctly, it will also lose photos from my other devices.Â
I Simply want them off my phone.Â
TUrning off iCloud won't do it as, when it is turned back on, it will delete photos from other devices.Â
If I turn off the photo stream on my icloud settings using an iphone5s, will all the pictures be deleted including the previous ones that I took and not just the ones on my phone at the moment?
My iCloud email pushes mail to my iPhone and my iMac. But, when I delete an email from my iMac, my badge does not update on the Mail icon on my iPhone, unless I acually open mail on the iPhone. The iPhone acts like the Push function only works for receiving emails and not for deleting them from the iMac.Â
I have deleted my iCloud account on my iPhone and then reinstalled it, and that did not fix it. What can I do to fix the Push issue that I am having?Â
PSÂ I am using the latest Mail and Mavericks on my iMac and the latest iOS on my iPhone.
Info: iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2), 16 gigs of Ram - 3 gig Fusion Drive
I have been backing up an iPhone 4 to iCloud for a while. I then purchased a new iPhone 4 as the old one was damaged, and set it up as a new phone. I haven't got around to setting up icloid backup yet. I now realise I want some data from an app in the old backup. Here is what I propose to do:
1. Backup new iPhone to iCloud
2. Restore new iPhone from old backup
3. Use the app's 'Email me my data feature' to get a copy of the DB
4. Restore new iPhone from new backup
Clearly I can only do this if during step 1 it doesn't overwrite the old backup. Can I have two separate backups?
When installing iOS 5 I somehow linked my iCloud to my moms account both on my iPhone and iPad. If I select the delete account button at the bottom of the iCloud settings, will it delete the account off of my moms phone too? She would rather not delete her iCloud account.
I would like to sync my iPhone to iCloud (since MobileMe is about to be removed) for backup, but my desktop Mac doesn't connect to iCloud as I run Snow Leopard (not running Lion, and I have no intention of installing Lion, having heard how many problems that caused to my friends).Having tried to sync to iCloud with the phone, I'm now unable to sync with my desktop iCal or Address Book. Now, none of my appointments and reminders are being transferred between the two.
