Sep 5, 2014I Recently noticed that the user name associated with iCloud on my iPhone 5s is in another name. (Probably the previous owner) I could have sworn I changed this when first bought it but obviously not. Anyway, I want to change it to my user name now and seem to be having difficulty doing so. It won't let me delete account to add a new one in my name unless the previous password associated with the old owner is put in, and I don't have that now. It also won't let me switch off find my iphone unless old password is typed in, but it did let me turn it on without old password........strange.Â
ANyway, I have tried contacting the person I bought it off but no answer. The phone itself works perfectly, it's just I can't log into iCloud or delete old users iCloud without the password.Â

May 31, 2012I recently had a 4S (either 5.0.1 or 5.1, definitely did not have 5.1.1) replaced. The refurb came with a version that was not 5.1.1 (it was the version that still displayed 3G on AT&T and had no lock screen camera). Upon trying to setup the refurb and load the backup from iCloud, the only option was way back from November 2011, so it clearly did not want to use the iCloud backup that was a future iOS version compared to the refurb. Now that I have restored to that November backup, and updated iOS to the latest version, I see in my iCloud backups that my latest, May 24th phone is there. So how do I restore to that? If I reset the phone completely, it will revert to an iOS version incompatible with the May backup again - right? At that point, I'm back where I started... can I somehow restore the iCloud backup without a full reset?

He called ma immediately from the airport informing me about the same, so I called the bus company...and certainly "there was no phone". I went today to the police to report it, so they could track it down, however I was told by the police guy, that as far as it was basically lost, despite that it was lost on the bus and from there it just "vanished", they will not search for the same. He was telling me that I should claim it back from insurance if I did one...if it would be only the phone is one thing, but there were the pictures of the trip and quite some other personal datas, so it is more becuase of that.
The phone was purchased just before the visit, and the friend did not register it through "Find my phone". I was told today that I can enter manually the IMEI and search for location of the phone, as I am pretty sure that the phone is still in the country.
