I've had to change my email address, so I made a new account in itunes, along with the apple id in the store settings on my iphone. The problem is that when I go to update apps it will still ask me the password for my old email address, I've looked in all my settings, searched the net and I wouldn't have a clue in how to change it.

I have encountered a problem where my contacts which also have an iPhone, thus receiving iMessages are seeing my contact name as my email address. How do I change this in the settings? I have a gmail account that I use on my iPhone, and a work email address with it's own domain. I forward a copy of all work email to my gmail account so I can receive it on my iPhone, but when I reply to work email, the Reply To address is my gmail address. I had a .MAC account which became a MobleMe and then I transitioned to iCloud. I just received a new iPhone 4S and, when setting up the iCloud account on the new iPhone I typed the email address incorrectly. The email now has a different username and password, although still the same email address. the emails are now not coming through to my blackberry curve 9300. I've tried to change the user name (in settings, email, login info) but it won't let me edit the field. Should i delete the whole account and start again? View 1 Replies View RelatedI think about 90% of my contacts in my address book on my Tour had all of a sudden disappeared. Yes, I didn't do anything and it's gone! Well this is what happened. I added a new email account to my BB and it was "activating" the email account. There was also a new icon that showed up while "activating". After about 20 minutes it's done "activating" and the icon was gone. So I thought everything was fine and dandy. The next day, I was told that my windows live account kept on signing in and out on it's own every few minutes. I made a call using speed key and there was no name for the number (the call did go through though). So I went to my address book and saw that 90% of my contacts had disappeared. That's what happened. I did not do a back up before I added a new email account to BB.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I added a new gmail email address to my phone but by accident, when prompted told it to synch my contacts with that account. The first thing it did was import all the contacts to my gmail address book, on gmail.com, effectively erasing most of them from the phone. I took it into the t-mobile store and the guy somehow managed to recover about 1/3 of the contacts. So when I took it home, I deleted that email address and just plugged it into my computer and re-synched the contacts from my address book. However, whenever I look in my address book on the blackberry now, at the top of a contact it says "Sychronize using: emailaddress@gmail.com" (Obviously insert the email address I used). But that email address is no longer on my phone, so how is it synched with that? It also I think it is creating problems with synching up my facebook contacts as their pictures no longer show as icons on my phone. It's a minor problem, and seems to be a software issue, but is there any way to completely un-sych my contacts from this deleted email address?

In my iTunes settings for my iPhone, under the "info" tab and in the "sync mail accounts" section, my previous email address is used for the server name.
