When I was setting up my Blackberry Torch 9800 I entered an inciorrect e-mail address. However, I dind that as long as I ebter this incorrect address when logging to the App Store, for example, it still works.How can I change this to my correct e-mail address?

I checked whether my spelling is incorrect but not and I am more than 105% sure that I used the correct email address because there is a link of my Xperia in the inbox of my email. "Unavailable Email. This email address is in use by another Apple ID."
A friend of mine told me that I should change my apple password so I went ahead and updated the email address while I was at it since I never use the other email address anymore, but when I went to go change the information in FaceTime on my iPhone 4, I couldn't find where to change the email address, and cancelling out of the login popup doesn't seem to be working.

I want to change my email address but when I go to setup, then email account, internet mail account - it asks for Username and password to access my email settings - i do NOT have either of these (I dont believe that I ever put them in - my previuous email address was on an enterprise account). How can I get around this?

I have encountered a problem where my contacts which also have an iPhone, thus receiving iMessages are seeing my contact name as my email address. How do I change this in the settings? I have tried to manually change it but even if I switch to the number option there seems to be no change.

I've had to change my email address, so I made a new account in itunes, along with the apple id in the store settings on my iphone. The problem is that when I go to update apps it will still ask me the password for my old email address, I've looked in all my settings, searched the net and I wouldn't have a clue in how to change it.

I have a gmail account that I use on my iPhone, and a work email address with it's own domain. I forward a copy of all work email to my gmail account so I can receive it on my iPhone, but when I reply to work email, the Reply To address is my gmail address. Anyone know how to change this to reflect my work address? (ie: joe@abc.com)

E-mail: I have 4 e-mail accounts.When I hit compose, it defaults to one I'd rather not use.I can hit the drop down key & choose one of the other 3, but I'd rather have it default to the one I use most.I had no problems w/ this in the Curve.There was a place to set the default mail.Any ideas?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia E63. When I got it I setup my Gmail and company email on the phone with OVI mail. Everything worked fine. The I decided I want to make changed to the accounts. I removed the gmail account after which the email functionality became useless. I was forced to remove OVI mail from my phone. I reinstalled it and now it is asking for my nokia messaging username and password. I tried and tried but it just don't want to sign in. My company email account was specifically persistant in this mater and even if I got it set up it would ask me for my password to log in.
I soon resorted to deleting my Nokia OVI account in attempt to release the company email from OVI mail. I then created a new OVI account to no avail. I read that I should uninstall OVI store and restart my phone then reinstall OVI store. Now OVI store is completely unable to log in to my account (obviously because the original account is now deleted) Furthermore I am unable to change OVI store's login details. This is a huge mess. Clearly someone hasn't been thinking.
I cannot login my galaxy S6 Edge and this started today after changing the password. Is there any alternative for me to use.

I do not have a data plan.I have a friend that sends me emails from his PC to my CellNumber@txt.att.net and I received them as TEXT MESSAGES. I then reply to that same TEXT MESSAGE and he receives it in his email on his PC.But when I try to send (not just reply) a new TEXT MESSAGE to his EMAIL address, it fails. I get a little red clock for a while, then nothing.I have spoke to AT&T and they say it should work.My friend is also on AT&T, and he too does not have a data plan, and he sends TEXTS to his EMAIL address all the time without challenge. He does not have a Blackberry.

I reset my password for the BB ID I thought was for this device, which includes the '1', but when I try using that BB ID on this phone, it says something like "use the BB ID associated with this device".
