The e-mail address associated with my Blackberry ID is no longer valid. Unfortunately, I cannot login to change the e-mail - I cannot find the password and the reset sends the password to the invalid e-mail address. If I establish a new Blackberry ID with a new e-mail address, will i lose the apps I'd purchased and installed through Blackberry World?

Is there anyway I can put in a new email address?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been unable to get my email address back ever since my latest BB device upgrade to a Bold 9900. I wanted to switch my bb email address which is xxx@mobility.blackberry.net. (note that those x's represent 3 letters.) When I called my carrier to ask them to connect that email address to my current PIN they said they are unable to do so, as they are getting error messages that emails must have a minimum of 4 characters, and that I must take my concerns to blackberry support. Talk about passing the buck, but I guess I will give it a try. Is there anyway I can get my email back or is it history?

My phone finds a network and it is visible on the phone, but it is not available. As a problem it stated that IP address no longer valid.Could you please tell me what should I do? View 9 Replies View RelatedI got an unlocked blackberry curve 8520 in February. I did get it from Poland but everything is the same. I don't have a data package, but about a two weeks ago I found out I could connect to wifi anyways. I did this and it worked at my house all day that day. Then I left and when I came back it wouldn't connect to the router it was previously connected to or any others. After searching forums I've tried changing all kinds of settings but they all seem to be where they were supposed to be. I did notice though when I'm in 'options> wifi> menu> wifi tools> wifi diagnostics the status bar says "IP address no loner valid" for all the routers I try to connect to.

I checked whether my spelling is incorrect but not and I am more than 105% sure that I used the correct email address because there is a link of my Xperia in the inbox of my email. View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought my new Torch 9850 in late February and started a new job in March. At my job there is seamless wifi across the entire campus. My blackberry would somehow "know" when I arrived at work each day and turn on the wifi and logon to my corporate network. I found this to be the most amazing feature ever! No longer did I have to worry about draining my battery because I forgot to turn off my wifi.Then I updated my OS to 7.1 from 7.0 and now this no longer happens and I don't know how to reactivate it. The good news is I am back on 7.0 due to a device switch. The bad news is I cannot figure out how to make this work again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with the Auto Keyboard when I'm on a site that wants you to type in your email. I get an email type keyboard that has a DOT on the space bar for email. I have reported this so many times. What happens is the @ sign is on the first page of the key board as well as the .com, the DOT is on the space bar so it doesn't function as a space bar, but the problem is when you try to enter a DOT off the space bar it will not print it. I have reported this and was told the next update to the OS would fix this. Well the last OS update v7.1.0.580 is the last update and it is still the same. Can't RIM send out a small add on to fix just this? What I have to do is use the .com key and then back space to the DOT and then type in the rest of my email. Example: jcjones@satx.rr.com so I have to type it jcjones@satx.com backspace out the com,leaving the . type in the rr and then push the .com key. What a hassel why can't this be addressed? Oh and the email in this post is not mine, I made it up, so it may belong to someone or not. There is no way to do a screen grab or anything like that to attach a pic because the keyboard is on top of everything on the screen.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an older iPhone.I can send an email to ONE address at a time from my gmail account address. Up until two months ago I was able to send emails from the iPhone to SEVERAL address at one time. The message I get is that the email address I am sending it to is not valid. When I click 'send anyway', it gives me the message "The mail server 'pop3.live.com' is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account into the Mail settings." And the iPhone sends the message to my Outbox. I try it several times but it won't go out until I delete all but one address.
Interestingly, when the email goes out to one person with a cc to me, then I can forward the cc message to more than one person.

I received message saying I needed to validate my email address and password because I am no longer receiving emails to my phone. I tried to log in and the username and password don't work. I'm trying to update my apps on my iPhone but it keeps asking for the sign in details for an email address that no longer exists. I have checked that app store is signed in to my current email address, it is, but as soon as I click Update it asks for the password to an old email address. It doesn't even recognise the password that used to be associated with that address.

I do not have a data plan.I have a friend that sends me emails from his PC to my CellNumber@txt.att.net and I received them as TEXT MESSAGES. I then reply to that same TEXT MESSAGE and he receives it in his email on his PC.But when I try to send (not just reply) a new TEXT MESSAGE to his EMAIL address, it fails. I get a little red clock for a while, then nothing.I have spoke to AT&T and they say it should work.My friend is also on AT&T, and he too does not have a data plan, and he sends TEXTS to his EMAIL address all the time without challenge. He does not have a Blackberry.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust recently, my 9810 stopped leaving email on my server. I am using a POP 3 server through AT&T. I use Outlook on my laptop and want all my email aggregated there (I remove from server when I pull it there). I was under the impression that BB always left mail on the server and I cannot find a setting anywhere to make me beleive otherwise. Also, this is not mail that I have deleted on my handheld, it is still in BB inbox - just not popping into my desktop as it should if it were still on the server.
