BB Bold :: Email Address For BBM Login No Longer Valid
May 10, 2010This is my sons fone, he updated his bbm (?) was asked to enter login details but the email address he used when he first set up his bbm is no longer working (cannot be recovered) I can't go to blackberry id site because the email address doesn't work so it's not like resetting a password. Is there anyway I can put in a new email address?

Oct 17, 2011I have been unable to get my email address back ever since my latest BB device upgrade to a Bold 9900. I wanted to switch my bb email address which is xxx@mobility.blackberry.net. (note that those x's represent 3 letters.) When I called my carrier to ask them to connect that email address to my current PIN they said they are unable to do so, as they are getting error messages that emails must have a minimum of 4 characters, and that I must take my concerns to blackberry support. Talk about passing the buck, but I guess I will give it a try. Is there anyway I can get my email back or is it history?

Jul 25, 2011I was wondering if you could help me. I have problems connecting to wifi when abroad, meaning not using anz carriers services. My phone finds a network and it is visible on the phone, but it is not available. As a problem it stated that IP address no longer valid.Could you please tell me what should I do? Apr 28, 2012I got an unlocked blackberry curve 8520 in February. I did get it from Poland but everything is the same. I don't have a data package, but about a two weeks ago I found out I could connect to wifi anyways. I did this and it worked at my house all day that day. Then I left and when I came back it wouldn't connect to the router it was previously connected to or any others. After searching forums I've tried changing all kinds of settings but they all seem to be where they were supposed to be. I did notice though when I'm in 'options> wifi> menu> wifi tools> wifi diagnostics the status bar says "IP address no loner valid" for all the routers I try to connect to.

I just received a new iPhone 4S and, when setting up the iCloud account on the new iPhone I typed the email address incorrectly. How can I delete the new account, which has the correct Apple ID and wrong email address? I have gone to AppleID@Apple.com and verified the correct email address is connected to my Apple ID. At iCloud.com/#mail I went to preferences and can add or delete an alias email address but can not delete the primary. When I try to change the email it says that email is already taken.

May 13, 2012I have an older iPhone.I can send an email to ONE address at a time from my gmail account address. Up until two months ago I was able to send emails from the iPhone to SEVERAL address at one time. The message I get is that the email address I am sending it to is not valid. When I click 'send anyway', it gives me the message "The mail server 'pop3.live.com' is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account into the Mail settings." And the iPhone sends the message to my Outbox. I try it several times but it won't go out until I delete all but one address.
Interestingly, when the email goes out to one person with a cc to me, then I can forward the cc message to more than one person.

I received message saying I needed to validate my email address and password because I am no longer receiving emails to my phone. I tried to log in and the username and password don't work. Apr 21, 2011I previously had a bold 9700 a few days ago I upgraded to a torch. When I put my sim card in to the phone and did the set up wizard. When I did the email set up, it says your email address is registered on another device, and you must move to this invoice (something along those lines) so I pressed move it asked for email password and then said device move successful. I then received the email stating the email address has been activated and I will start to receive new emails within 20 minutes.
How it has been two days and I haven't received anything. I am able to send emails but I cannot receive any emails. I also attempted the blackberry messenger remote recovery and that has sent the email to my inbox but hasn't transferred over my contacts. I can see the email in hotmail account when I log in via the website but my device hasn't received the email.
