My iPhone is stolen. How can I get my address book back from the iCloud? I should have synchronized my iPad address book. However, I loss some recent contacts from iPhone.

I find that if I enter something on Outlook (using Windows), an entry in the Contacts or in the Calendar, it does sync with my ipad/iphone. But when I enter on the ipad/iphone, it does not sync with Outlook at all. I have resorted to emailing myself and then entering it when I'm at the computer. I've read here on the forums and tried various things but it doesn't seem to work.

I am looking for an alternative to iCloud so that I can sync my iCal and Address Book Contacts with my iPhone 4.I curently have Snow Leopard and do not plan on upgrading to Lion because of the loss of Expose.Since that means I lose my cloud syncing capabilities,I wondered if anyone can recommend an alternative to iCloud other than hard-syncing my iPhone to my computer on a daily basis.

I re-entered all of my contacts backed that up, re-booted just to see if they would go missing again and they did. I then tried to restore contacts only. But the only option I got was Address book - Last Hint Used. I did not see Address Book

So my iphone was recently stolen from me earlier today. I do not have an Icloud account, so "Find My IPhone" won't work for me. I have a mobile me account, and everytime I use the Find My Iphone funtion, it says location services are disabled.. any clue how to fix that or get around that?? I was trying to create a sub folder in my address book & now I can't find my original add book. The add book icon is still there, but there are no contacts in it. The best i remember i hit filter and chose business & typed in a name for what i thought would be a new folder or group. i'm not sure what happened, but I can't see any of my contacts. I have switched from personl to business & back again & it says "no contacts" on both. But if I go to email & put in a letter all of my old contacts that begin with that letter show up. & my speed dials still work. But if i go to sms/mms & do compose sms it shows "No Addresses"....well I spoke too soon...now if i go to email & type in a letter it don't show a list of ppl that begin with that letter.... I have tried taking the battery out with the phone off & on & it's still the same....

1. In the past when ever I would write a new email I would get list of suggested email addresses in the "To" field. For example, if I would was to write the letter S I would get the email address of the people in my address book whose name starts with an S (sam, Sofia etc). for some reason this feature stopped working on my phone and I can't find how to make it work again. if I want to send an email I need to manually write the email address in the "To" field. The auto suggestion feature works perfectly on my wife's phone (an E72 with the same firmware - 22.007) but on my phone it won't suggest email addresses from my contacts.
2. Another problem is that my Gmail that is synced to the phone, through the Nokia Messenger server is locked on "hide emails older than 2 weeks". Now, I have hundreds of emails stored on my phone that dates to February 1st - the day I got the Phone.
Is there a way to delete these emails automatically, without deleting them on the Gmail account itself? It makes my phone really when going through the emails.

I was recently in Barcelona, Spain with my high school travel club when my iPhone 5s was stolen. The last time i had backed up my phone was not since 2012. I am sick as i had over 1,000 pictures and 30 videos from our trip. Some people told me that even though my iPhone hadn't been backed up, i had my "streamed photos" that i would still be able to get back? If there is still absolutely any way to get my pictures and videos back.

Yesterday I noticed that my iPhone had only about 25% of my usual contacts in it. I thought I would sync it today and make sure everything copied over well. Before syncing I checked address book on my mac to find that it was completely empty.
Any idea why these would be missing? I have a backup but it is from before I got my iPhone 2 weeks ago and had my contacts carried over from my old phone I can recover the contacts, but it would be a slow and long process and I don't want to have them go missing again.
I am "on" iCloud but reset of iPhone to factory settings lost all contacts. Info is still on the iPad. What is the best way to get the info back to the iPhone? ICloud?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having problems with duplicated contacts for ages, probably because I sometimes sync with mobileme and sometimes with iTunes. Some contact names have a person's name with a massive list of random email addresses and other names started popping up which were wrong. I downloaded an app called DeleteQ to remove the duplicates and now it's gone completely nuts. The wrong names are popping up all over the place when people call and text. People's details are all jumbled up.
It's got a phone number that's repeated for hundreds of email addresses. My address book on my mac has similar problems, but I think it's in a much better state than my phone, but it's hard to tell. I've tried replacing my phone contacts with my computer address book contacts, but I think that's led to more duplication. I don't intend to move to iCloud until Lion improves with a decent update, which I'm mentioning in case anyone here recommends moving to iCloud.

How can I get it to sync "both ways"? (BTW, iTunes recognizes the iPhone, as does iPhoto, so that's not the problem).
