BB Curve :: Can't Access My Camara
Nov 16, 2011When I click on the camara icon, I get the message to shut down other applications before restarting the camara. I do not know how should I proceed from here.

Feb 4, 2010is there any way to turn the sound off when you take a picture??, please dont all start calling me a pervert (as i've seen on other forums) im hoping you can be a bit more helpful here, sometimes you want a photo but it is not always apt to have a camara sound go off, this is my first blackberry (bold 9700) but im yet to own a phone that you could'nt turn it off on.

Sep 17, 2012Basically I can't access my emails - the star/asterisk sign shows up on the menu to show that new messages have come in (and I know they have because I can see them on my laptop) but when I click any of the email icons (the general 'Messages' one, or the two separate email accounts I have) they just take me to text messages rather than email messages.

Oct 21, 2011I just got my blackberry curve 8520 and I tried to set up my account on my pc. I downloaded the BlackBerry App World Browser Plug-in and I was able to connect to my phone. Then as it was downloaded I lost the internet connection and it dropped the download. Ever since then I can't get my phone to "connect" and keep recieving the message"App World Web Plugin Error.An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry App World Web plugin. restart your device and try again." Then if I try to connect from my blackberry I get the message "Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again." This is so annoying, there is nothing at all wrong with the connection now. What can I do to fix this?

May 15, 2011I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and am with Virgin Media and everything was working perfectly until yesterday when I was asked to download the latest version of the Blackberry App World. This I did and then rebooted my phone as directed. I then went to the Blackberry App World icon, on my phone, to download an App, but the icon had disappeared. I looked in the Downloads file and everywhere else on the phone but it was nowhere.I checked the Applications file in Advanced Options and Blackberry App World version 2.1215 was there.I checked the Service Book and Blackberry App World was there and active. I tried redownloading but got the message that the App World was already installed. I reinstalled but still no difference. I went to the App World via the Blackberry Browser, on my phone, and tried to download an App but got the message 'item you selected cannot be displayed do you wish to save' I selected no and got the message 'unsupported med type: application x-bb-appworld'. I have now tried various combinations of downloading, deleting in Applications, rebooting but nothing works. I have access to all my Apps and all are working.

Jul 18, 2010I downloaded a new fancy characters app sent to me by a friend. Even since my phone has been acting up. The one problem I have not been able to fix, it's that I can't access bbm 5.0. I have the icon on my home screen however, when I select it nothing happens. I have deleted it and re-installed it several times already and that didn't work. I have had to re-install the old version of the bbm and that version works fine. I have a curve 8520 from T-mobile and OS 4.6.

When I plug my BB into my computer though all I see is the contents of the memory card and there are no memos on there. At home I have Bell and a DLink network. DLink shows up as a network to connect to, but I've put in every password I've ever used and it always says "Failed to authenicate against the network". Then I tried accessing my church connection last night while I was there. The password was confirmed by another church member, so I know it should work but the same thing happened.
