BB Curve :: App World Is Not Working And Freezing When Download Or Update Any Application
Feb 23, 2012Alright, I have had my Blackberry Curve 9300 3G for about 6 months now, and never had problem. Recently, I have been noticing my App World is freezing when I try to download or update my applications. See, I am trying to download Twitter to my phone, and every time I click "download" it says "please wait". It stays like this forever, and I can't press the back button or blackberry menu button. Occasionally, it tells me I need a Blackberry Identity update, which I can't seem to get access to either. After this happens, I can't do anything on the App store, yet I can still run the phone, its just the App store that is frozen. I restart my phone after this, and it resets everything, just to have it happen again. I know I have the Identity update, and all my software is up to date as well.

May 27, 2011I went to update the email setup application on my new 9330 and throughout the update, it prompted me several times with the message: ? is also used by "Email Setup Application." If you proceed "Email setup application" may cease to function properly. Proceed? I don't know what the ? preceding the beginning of the statement means. After I clicked on this several times throughout the update it finally updated and prompted for a restart. I restarted and the phone filled up the status bar and froze. Even after I removed and replaced the battery several times. I got the phone to unfreeze finally but I won't update the email installer again until this problem is worked out.

Jan 30, 2012I updated my BB Curve 9330 last night to the new system. I orginally had 3 emails on my device but now it will only show 1 and when I go to verify my other emails it doesn't work. It keeps saying that it cannot connect and to try again later. I've tried several times and it keeps coming up with the same error message. I did a try and redownload the software but it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really need to get to my emails.

Dec 24, 2011I just recently updated my blackberry curve 9330 and when I go to set up the emails it won't let me. I've been trying to set them up for about three days now. I put in my passwords and when I press the verify button it configures for a bit then a message comes up saying: "Sorry, unable to continue your sessions. Please log in again." I log in again and it still doesn't work!

Feb 2, 2012I just ran the recent software update for my phone and my email settings were gone. When I tried to reset them/ i keep getting an error message of "Sorry unable to continue your session. Please log in again" when I click the verify button. I even tried to delete the emails I have set but it does not give me the option from the menu screen. Has anyone experienced the same issue and have a way to fix it? Other than downgrading the update and seeing if that fixes the problem?

May 1, 2011I have a 8530 with OS5 and a couple hours ago I was prompted about the App World 3.1 update. I happily did the update but after the reboot I got this error:
"Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError" And I get the same error every time I try to run App World. I have tried uninstalling App World and re-installing, Wipe the phone and install before restoring from my back up and I get the same error.So here I am now with an empty phone and no working App World to get my apps back.

Jun 13, 2011I seem to be having the same problem as others with the email setup application.
When I updated my Blackberry to the new OS6, I went to my email setup and it said "looking for updates" It finds a new update from my already installed email setup app 6.0.0 to the new 6.11.0419.0755.
When I click "download" it says replace existing version? I click "yes"
The it says: "com.rim.bis.client" contains a different version of module "net_rim_bis_client" which is also used by email setup application. If you proceed, "email setup application" may cease to function properly. proceed?
If I click "yes proceed" it crashes my blackberry and it will not reboot and I have to do a complete hard reboot, wipe the device and reload everything from my backup on blackberry desktop.
If I click "no" not to proceed, I cannot open the email setup application.
I have tried downgrading to version 5 of the OS, I have rebooted with a battery pull, crashed my blackberry twice and spent hours reloading all my applications and systems. I am at the end of my rope, and I don't know what else to do?!
If there was a way to turn off the automatic search for updates on my device under the setup and email settings, i think I would be able to set it up in the older version 6.0.0
BB Curve :: 9360 Unable To Update Software Application?
May 16, 2012I have a Blackberry 9360. I've just run the Blackberry Desktop Software. It shows that I can update the software for my phone. However, whenI try to it comes up with amessage that says an error occurred, and I can't install it. My internet connection is fine. I've tried this a number of times with same result !! Any ideas what's wrong, or how to fix it ?Also, when on Blackberry Desktop Software and I click on 'pictures' under te Media Sync, it shows I have no pictures. I did have pictures, and pictures show up against my contacts, so I don't know what's happened, or if this is related to my updating problem. If I click on 'Music' I can see a message that states that I have insufficient storage to media sync.
