BB Curve 8500 :: Trouble Deleting Downloads Saved?

I have found my BBs very easy to use, that is until now that I want to delete items. Pretty much sorted out my e-mail problems although despite deleting e-mail accounts, I can't find a way to clear the old messages from the main messsage box apart from individually, which might take a year!I now want to delete my downloads and can't find a way to do that either.For context, I have to return a phone and want to clear it appropriately, either by removing items like downloads and messages that are personal, or by returning to factory settings.

Ever since I updated my desktop software to 6.0, when I back up my device, it changes my time zone to Eniwetok (I am in Eastern Time Zone).My computer is set on Eastern Time Zone, and the time zone does not change in Outlook when I sync, just on my device.I even have Auto Update Time Zone on my device turned off, but it still changes my time zone. Why is it doing this, and how can I stop it?

I've already deleted pictures in my media card, but however in "all pictures" mode, I still see the old *and ugly* files there. Have tried to delete them, but my phone says it can't do that since it is read only. What should I do?

I purchased the Blackberry Storm 9530 four days ago. Since the purchase was made, one email tag remains in the upper left portion of the screen, and I cannot determine what the source of it is, and therefore, cannot delete it. I have checked every email, every voicemail, every Blackberry Messenger message, every text message (all coming in or going out), and everything in the phone in and out box coming in or going out. I cannot find the source of the tag anywhere. I even took the battery out and put it back in, but I cannot determine why the tag is there. Does anyone have any idea why it is doing this, and if so, how do I get rid of it? Thanks.

All downloads from any site are not saved with they extension. For example, if i download an jar file, it saves as EXT file. So, I cannot use it.

My Blackberry Curve gives me the option of deleting messages from both Handheld and Mailbox and Handheld. I assume Mailbox means my desktop computer at home which is a Mac, but when I select Mailbox and Handheld for delete, it only deletes from Handheld and NOT from Mailbox. How can I program my 'berry to delete remotely from my desktop?

I am trying to find a way to delete with a single tap all the pdf files, thumbnails and other files which end up in my Downloads folder. I have Cleanmaster, but this won't let you choose what to clean. I also have ES File Explorer which will let me access the folder and delete the files, but I'd rather have this process more automated.

My 6 month old enV3 suddenly began deleting saved notes from the notepad.Verizon claims it's not a known issue and issued me a replacement. My hunch is that there's a limited amount of space and I had too many notes but I don't know. I don't even know if there's a way to measure the space my notes take up (without counting characters!)I LOVE this feature on my phone and won't trust the new one until I figure out a little more about what happened.

Ive just switched from iphone to the HTC One and ive got to admit its the best thing (in terms of phone choices) i have ever done.
Im still trying to work my way round it but seem to be finding my feet ok.
I am however having a few issues.
My mate has just got a new number and i have saved it under a current contact, now that contact has 2 numbers and i cant delete his old one unless i delete the whole contact then save it again.

So for the past three days or so I have been having trouble with my phone rebooting itself while I'm working with it? Not in phone calls. But it has rebooted while I was unholstering to read a BBM Message, while I was reading email, once while I was using Docs to Go....Very irritating! I originally thought it was my theme because I have NEVER had good luck with themes on this phone, but removed it and still issues! So now I'm looking at BBM being the culprit but I wasn't sure if I could pinpoint the problem somehow? like using alt+lglg and finding the error in the java log? To bad I can't read jibberish! I saw a similar problem on another phone and the wiped the device and reloaded really don't wanna do that! BTW, I have not installed any new apps or updates in almost a month otherwise I'd point to that!

My BB has been running really slow lately so I installed a memory card to alleviate the issue. It helped for a while but now I'm back to a slow crawl at times which has really caused some problems when VZ Navigator just freezes on me.I know if I can just clean the emails and text messages off the media card, but I can't figure out how to access the cards memory bu itself. I certainly don't want to clear the pictures off of it (it's only a couple but I'd rather not delete them) so I'd rather not format the card if I don't have to.

when attempting to download blackberry app world from my device i get a message stating "Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support blackberry app world".i go to "options" then "about" and see "v4.2.2.181".
any ideas on anything i can do to be able to download app world or at least the free apps? (i do not have access to a usb at this time, so any updates would have to be done through the device.)

I downloaded Windows Live Messanger through App World and it said that it was succesfully installed. However there is no icon for it in my downloads or applications and i don't know how to access it, other downloads are working just not WLM.

A while ago I had a problem signing into my app world; however, now that I am able to sign in, I cannot download or update anything and I'm not sure why. App world lets me know about the updates but when I go to update the things I have a error message says "Download not available in app world" Does anyone know how this can be fixed or why it comes up?.

I've downloaded the app store twice now and deleted between downloads. Here's the problem, I download it and it installs... unless I select "RUN" once its done, I cant use it. If I don't click "RUN" the app is nowhere to be found. Its not in the downloads folder, app folder or anywhere else I can find, although under "ADVANCED OPTIONS" and "APPLICATION" it does appear. Any one have this problem of know where the apps icon is so I can use it more than just once?

I have quite recently purchased a curve 8250. i have a problem that i can't find where my pictures are being saved. there are definately on there as when i go to download one again it says that it already exists but i cant find it. i had the same problem with music for a while but then the missing songs just appeared one day!
