BB Curve 8500 :: Trouble Deleting Downloads Saved?
Jan 7, 2010I have found my BBs very easy to use, that is until now that I want to delete items. Pretty much sorted out my e-mail problems although despite deleting e-mail accounts, I can't find a way to clear the old messages from the main messsage box apart from individually, which might take a year!I now want to delete my downloads and can't find a way to do that either.For context, I have to return a phone and want to clear it appropriately, either by removing items like downloads and messages that are personal, or by returning to factory settings.

Jun 6, 2010They aren't exact duplicates, but all of my contacts are mixed up. Like two phone numbers from two different contacts under ONE new contact, while still keeping the other two. I had 204 contacts, and now my phoen says I have 670. WTF. Desktop manager let me replace the addresses with the one from my previous backup, but now it won't let me do it again. HELP.

May 28, 2010I upgraded to 5.0 (i guess) and now i am experiencing problems with email. I can no longer reply to a message from my BB, reply comes up but after composing reply, there is no send option. Also, pre-update I was able to choose deleting from BB & computer, or just BB, now it is only deleting from BB. This I can deal with but I need to be able to reply to messages from my BB, afterall isn't that one of the reasons to have a BB??
I have the Curve 8530.

Mar 25, 2010I am not a blackberry wiz¦. This is the 1st BB I have owned.. my issue: I upgraded to the new software version 5.0.0.508 and now I suddenly have lost the keyboard/pad lock function. Where did it go?? And how do I get it back?? This phone travels in my pocket, I don't need accidental dials.

Jan 9, 2010I've had my Bold 9000 since August 09 and had no issues with it whatsoever. I performed a software upgrade two days ago to version 4.6.0.303 and now my battery drains within a few hours. The phone was on charge overnight on Thursday, for example. I took it off charge at about 9am and by 1pm, with virtually zero use, the battery was drained. The phone goes in to standby no problem. This morning I took it off charge at 9am and by 1130am the battery is 50% drained.

Mar 27, 2015I have an unlocked M7, just recently updated from 4.4.2 to 5.0.2. No it's not rooted or anything like that.Now for some unknown reason the Home button has only one function: return to home screen. If I double-click it, nothing happens. No "recent apps" screen. If I hold it, nothing happens either. No app menu opens. The key doesn't even vibrate anymore, I think it used to?
The reason I know the key works at all is that it does actually get me to the home screen if I just "click" it I have tried clearing the cache (in the recovery menu), no difference. I have turned on/off all possible settings, no difference. I even booted into safe mode, no difference.

Mar 24, 2012I have a problem , my iphone 4s sometimes stops opening apps I bought on the app store and most of the time I have to uninstall them and download them again on icloud. This does not fix the problem permanently. Could it be my recent upgrade to the latest version of IOS?

Jun 3, 2011After upgrading to Gingerbread I noticed that when I go to the recent apps screen and I try to open Tweetdeck (seems to be the only app that does this) I get a "Application is not installed on phone" error message. Which makes no sense because it's running in the background and opens fine. I've cleared my cache and uninstalled and reinstalled TD and still get the error. Assuming this is a bug, but it seems weird to only happen for a specific app.

BB Curve 8350i :: Trouble With My Phone Rebooting Itself?
Mar 18, 2010So for the past three days or so I have been having trouble with my phone rebooting itself while I'm working with it? Not in phone calls. But it has rebooted while I was unholstering to read a BBM Message, while I was reading email, once while I was using Docs to Go....Very irritating! I originally thought it was my theme because I have NEVER had good luck with themes on this phone, but removed it and still issues! So now I'm looking at BBM being the culprit but I wasn't sure if I could pinpoint the problem somehow? like using alt+lglg and finding the error in the java log? To bad I can't read jibberish! I saw a similar problem on another phone and the wiped the device and reloaded really don't wanna do that! BTW, I have not installed any new apps or updates in almost a month otherwise I'd point to that!

Feb 22, 2010My BB has been running really slow lately so I installed a memory card to alleviate the issue. It helped for a while but now I'm back to a slow crawl at times which has really caused some problems when VZ Navigator just freezes on me.I know if I can just clean the emails and text messages off the media card, but I can't figure out how to access the cards memory bu itself. I certainly don't want to clear the pictures off of it (it's only a couple but I'd rather not delete them) so I'd rather not format the card if I don't have to.

any ideas on anything i can do to be able to download app world or at least the free apps? (i do not have access to a usb at this time, so any updates would have to be done through the device.)

Apr 14, 2010I have a problem with my recent calls or rather the call log (sorry, but since English is not my mother language I might mix up the terms but let me explain)When I push the green phone button in the main menu I am used to finding a menu where i can see who I last called, who called me and so on. Little green and blue phone symbols next to the names indicate whether a call was incoming or outgoing.This menu does not work somehow. When I press the green button I get some kind of list, which looks pretty much like the one I just described and which always used to be there, but the phone icons and the timestamps are missing! So I cannot see, whether any given call was incoming or outgoing and what time the call was made.Is there any way to fix this?Can I somehow "reassign" the green phone button to my call log? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Went into store and saw "genius" who spent an hour unable to fix problem. Changed phone (battery was getting hot) but no help.
looked at his Iphone 4s to sync it with mine but he could not tether his either. The upgrade has fixed some problem but knocked out bluetooth which can not connect to any of my equipment. Ipad, Iphone or coil for hearing aids.
