View 1 RepliesOn my iPhone, I noticed that the "Other" file in iTunes had grown. I also remember hearing that "Other" was your app data (like Angry Birds high scores), Text messages/iMessages, and so on. I was wondering if it was possible to delete older Messages (any messages older then a month ago) and not the newer ones.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 6 month old enV3 suddenly began deleting saved notes from the notepad.Verizon claims it's not a known issue and issued me a replacement. My hunch is that there's a limited amount of space and I had too many notes but I don't know. I don't even know if there's a way to measure the space my notes take up (without counting characters!)I LOVE this feature on my phone and won't trust the new one until I figure out a little more about what happened.

Ive just switched from iphone to the HTC One and ive got to admit its the best thing (in terms of phone choices) i have ever done.
Im still trying to work my way round it but seem to be finding my feet ok.
I am however having a few issues.
My mate has just got a new number and i have saved it under a current contact, now that contact has 2 numbers and i cant delete his old one unless i delete the whole contact then save it again.
I have found my BBs very easy to use, that is until now that I want to delete items. Pretty much sorted out my e-mail problems although despite deleting e-mail accounts, I can't find a way to clear the old messages from the main messsage box apart from individually, which might take a year!I now want to delete my downloads and can't find a way to do that either. For context, I have to return a phone and want to clear it appropriately, either by removing items like downloads and messages that are personal, or by returning to factory settings.

The problem is when I delete an email on my phone, it's not deleting it from the Gmail server (it's still there if I check email on my PC). Some setting on the phone or in Gmail on the PC that I'm forgetting about?

I have trialed a lot of free apps that I wish to remove from the phone & itunes permanently, from everywhere, no reference left at all. I have read many posts about removing apps but the 'purchase' history is left behind, not good enough, I want everything gone, including history, I need to know how to remove this rubbish history. Every other piece of software I have ever bought for any device allowed me to uninstall it completely so I can divine no reason not to provide this feature. I know about the 'ability to reload purchases' stuff but these app's were free so this is irrelevant. Even if they were paid for surely it is my right to remove them completely fully understanding that if required again I will need to buy them again.

I was wondering if it's possible to permanently save a voicemail with the date and time somewhere on your iPhone or if you can sync it to your computer to save it? Also is it possible to send songs or ringtones in a SMS/text to other iPhones? Or send songs or tones in an e-mail from your iPhone to another iPhone?

View 19 Replies View RelatedI recently bought an iPhone 3GS from a UK seller. However, he lied about it not being locked to any carrier. I assume it's locked to orange, as that's what the "Service"-bar indicates in his pictures, so I wondered what's the cheapest way to permanently unlock it from abroad? (I'm in Denmark)
View 4 Replies View RelatedI use iMessage and delete all my previous messages from my iPhone.
I recently backed up my iphone and a few days later tried to restore my iphone from the old backup, I did that and during those few days any iMessage I had sent and deleted all came back to my iphone. I thought i had deleted those messages for privacy reasons but doing the reset from the old backup made them messages come back.
Now my question is, are these iMessages saved somewhere on Apple servers or iCloud? I dont use iCloud feature on iphone. This is major privacy concern for me and is there any way to permanently delete these messages not just from iphone and never have such situation described above where the deleted imessages reappear.
