View 2 Replies View RelatedI am a new user of BlackBerry (bold 9780). Since I have it I wasn't able to set up an Email account. When I click on "Email Accounts" in the setup, sometimes it brings me to the next step and sometimes nothing happens. In the case it bring me to the next step, when I click on "Internet Mail Account" it brings me back to the previous step. I have already contacted my provider and removed the battery several times but nothing changed.

"You are unable to login to Blackberry ID account"
In short I am unable to login to my Blackberry ID account which means that I cannot update any apps and as such some (like What's App) has stopped working.I have done the reset password thing, I have reinstalled app world, I have typed the wrong password on purpose and then it says wrong password, so it is not that either.

I think the account is frozen - I can log into the normal BB account but not into BB beta. What gives?
I am encountering problem when attempting to sign in to Blackberry AppWorld v3, they said I need to verify my account but when I put my email and password the notification "Unable to login to your Blackberry ID account" appeared. I never been in this situation before as I can't be able to download the application I want or I need.

I have a Bold 9900, and have already setup an account with my carrier in regards to the BIS account/email (stc.blackberry.com) in my case. It was setup through the email client on the bold and not through the website (stc.blackberry.com).verytime i try to login it says username/password is incorrect, though i am sure it is correct. I had previously tried to create the account through the website, but an error of "Your account is not accessible via HTML browser. Please use your device to access BlackBerry Internet Service". That error occurs even if i use the Bold 9900 browser or and other browser for that matter. The email account sends an recieves emails, but i cannot access the settings via the website on the phone or pc.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought this phone approximately 2 months ago. The dealer claimed the phone was new but upon usgae of the phone everyday, I began to believe otherwise. I have a full 4G internet plan on my phone and when I tried to setup my email for the first time, I was unable to access the option on my phone. Everytime I selected "setup internet mail account" , nothing happened. It was like the option didn't exist.Upon calling my service provider, I was informed that someone had my phone before and had their plan on it and it somehow blocked my ability to setup or change the previous email options and that it can only be accessed if I get the email address of the previous user, which is impossible because I bought it thinking it was new without any previous records. I tried everything! Factory restore etc! Nothing works because the option is somehow disabled. Is it possible to somehow rectify this situation? There must be some history attached to the PIN of this phone.

All seemed good after the Desktop manager data and application switch, then switched to the new PIN on my provider's Blackberry page and everything went smooth.I was able to login to the device Email setup (using Blackberry ID) then also to App World and all worked perfectly.A few hours later, and without any reason, now signing in to Blackberry ID through either the Email setup or App World fails with the error "Unable to login to your Blackberry ID account
I can login with the same BB ID and password on the Blackberry ID website, so the account is not locked out. Also, I am not typing the wrong password on the device, because when I do, I get a different error (the email and password combination is not that of a valid Blackberry iD).So apparently, this is an issue with the actual Blackberry ID authentication module. I read a lot of blogs and forums, and many people said it's due to the cached PIN (since I migrated data from my old Torch). I tried removing App World and re-installing a different version (including the Beta 3.0), still same problem occurs.
I have purchased a used bold 9700 and after I set up my email address I still getting old emails from the previous user! his email account is not set in email options. is there anything i can do about it ?

When I try moving my old email account it says to put my email password in. I put the right password in and when I press activate it says 'Sorry, unable to continue your session.
