I have a Bold 9990 and suddenly my trackpad is no longer scroll rolling in every direction in the main menu, my lock button no longer worked . I am very careful with my phone and I haven't dropped it or gotten it wet at all. The weird part is that the trackpad won't scroll UP on the homescreen but it was working left and right...but not in the homescreen!!!I have done several battery pulls with no results.I

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my blackberry just over a month and I've looked after it, not dropped it, not damaged it in anyway.It was working fine this morning, then when I went to scroll up, it wouldn't work.I thought it had crashed so to check I pressed the red button and that worked. I realised I could scroll left and right but not up and down.So I took the battery out and resetted it then out of curiosity I just a dry wipe over the trackpad and it worked perfectly. So I tried my jumper and same again, the track pad worked perfectly, then when I use my thumb + finger, nothing, just left and right again.I rebooted it again, and still...the same.Why is it not working? (btw, I tried changing sensitivity and its still not working)

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have a bold 9780 Recently my trackpad has been playing up(not repsonding to my touch) and when it does respond it flys everywhere uncontrollably and the centre bit doesnt work either. i have taken battery out several times. i have also tried updating and restoring to original factory settings. I have backed up etc. This still hasnt worked. has anyone else had these problems.

I downgraded the software version back to 5. something and it works fine. have tried rebooting the device,taking out the battery, re installing 6.0 and nothing seems to work.

When I receive a call or go to make a call it won't let me, it just picks up and hangs right up. I have never had a problem with Bluetooth before. Does anyone else have this issue from Sprint .699 upgrading to .732? I don't know if I should wipe and reinstall or just go back to .699, which I didn't have any problem with anyway? Thoughts?

I noticed that if I shut down the Bold, power up and reset the alarm it will go off, but by morning no sound. I overslept this morning because of it.

Another problem is when i use it for gps navigation, i type a new addresss i need to gets to and i display it on map, when i drive, the spot showing me is moving, however the map is not moving along with it, after a while it just goes out of the map. View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my bold for just over 4 months now and in the last few days my menu key and track key aren't working properly. When I press the menu key it brings up my switch app window (I'm literally just pressing it, not holding it down for a few secs) and will do this 4 or 5 times before it brings up the options. Now my track key is going. I press it and it'll bring my options up. I can do this 3 or 4 times before it'll actually go into the icon or link that I'm wanting . I've tried the whole reboot with the phone on and it does nothing.
My last bold I had 19 months and did not once have a problem with it (other than the deep scratch I put in the screen!), 4 months with this and I can't even use the basic and most important keys on the bloody phone!

Sometimes it's responsive, sometimes it's not. Also somtimes when I'm scrolling, it will just stop randomly. Annyone else having issues using their Torch trackpad scrolling vertically? View 1 Replies View RelatedAlright, so the trackpad isn't working, but at the same time it is. When I use it with my bare skin, it doesn't work, it takes many swips to do anything. But when I use it with say a piece of tape, or a cloth on the end of my fingers it works great and without a problem.
It's a used phone so swapping it is not an option, but is there some way to fix it?
I went to go on my phone and the scrollpad wouldn't work, so I took it to the shop and they said update the OS to the latest, so I did, and now it only works if I REALLY lightly touch it and only then it works a tiny bit for abit a second, but it's clicking fine!
