I accidentally dropped my Blackberry Curve 8520 on the floor and the battery fell out. Now when it tries to restart it gets about two thirds of the way through and then comes up with the message Reload Software 507. I have tried connecting it to my laptop but that doesn't work.
Got my first Blackberry, a 9700, last week, and installed the desktop software yesterday. It suggested I did an update, so I did. Everything appeared to go well, no problems, and the phone rebooted OK, and appeared to be functioning OK, and I've received emails and text messages, and made and received calls OK since then.....until this afternoon. Was sitting there, the phone in it's pouch, and I noticed the red light flashing. I thought I had received an email or something that I had missed, so, take the phone out of the pouch, and notice it's rebooting. And, yes, you guessed, it the message 'Reload Software 507' sitting prettily in the middle of the screen against a white background.
Any ideas as to what to do from here on? I guess I'm going to try and reload software, as suggested, from the desktop program. Any hints or tips would be appreciated at this point in time. I have tried pulling the battery, and waiting 30 seconds, but makes no difference.
Please any help right now would be fantastic. So initially I had the JVM error 102 which I cleared by using JL_comand and wiping the hand held which has now left me with the 507 error.
I have desktop manager and I just downloaded the newest operating software from the carrier I am using (However the phone is unlocked) . I did delete the vendor file from the application folder like it says to do on most posts...
My issue is right here.. after plugging in the device (which is not recognized) ...I proceed to the application loader. It tells me that "No software is available for your device" I am currently using desktop manager v5.0.1.
i try to download the new software my comp is telling me that i cant trust the site i'm trying to downloading from?? and i tried to plug my phn into my laptop and that wont even do anything either, its stuck on the white screen with that little msg saying Error 507..
Don't know what happened but my internet and BBM stopped working so I decided to do a soft reset (alt+Rshift+del). Upon loading, I get JVM Error 102, and will no longer boot into the OS. From reading some stuff here, it seems I now have to do a complete wipe to restore the BB.My questions is this, I haven't added any new software in a long time, why would this error just pop up out of no where? Should I get a replacement phone from T-Mobile or just try to reload the OS again?
I am holding a blackeberry bold 9000 phone.The phone got an issue when my nephew played with it and currently it is showing the error as RELOAD SOFTWARE 513.I tried to find a solution and the reinstalling softwares should resolve the issue.My concern now is that I have got plenty of data ,notes,contacts on the phone memory which I do not want to lose.Is there a way to resolve the issue as my work is hampering because the phone has got stuck this moment.
On the screen of my blackberry bold 9900 says "Error 102" Reload software, and there's a highlighted "reset" on the screen. I tried to to that, but when it restart, it came back to the same screen again with Error 102.I tried to connect it to the desktop manager, but it says that "blackberry desktop software cannot communicate with the connected device".I also tried to take out the battery, sim card and media card, and back on again, still got the same message on screen "Error 102"Any advice how i can fix this?Before it went of i was deleting a few apps, because my memory was low, and it says that deleting will take action after restarting the bb, i pressed ok, bb was deleting the apps, but the clock icon keep on turning, like it was stuck. It stays like that for hours, so i decided to take out the battery and put it back in again, and that when i start getting this "error 102" message on my screen.
Blackberry 9000 Bold version 5.0.1, using windows 7, Outlook 2010 Trying to synchronize after uploading all updates but getting error message after trying to configure calendar, tasks, address book and memo pad. New computer trying to get BB to sync for the first time.
I have this Error 513 reload software on my phone. don't know what to do. It came when I was trying to connect to my computer desktop, I was asked for my Blackberry password. I tried many times and would not accept it. I think I tried more than ten times. I called the service provider, they saied take out the battery and SIM card, that did not work. How can I clear this message and restore my phone?
I have been using my Blackberry 8900 for more than 18 month and never hadany problem.Today I went to Blackberry apps and downloaded the Blackberry protect software, while the download was going on, the mobile got off automatically and post that neither its getting on nor I am able to connect it to myDesktop manager (latest version 6.02). It shows the error as Reload Software 552.
When I try to text it sometimes goes through immediately but most times it tries with the red box and check mark and then it gives me a SMS error 97. Sometimes I get an SMS Error 0. I can no longer resend the message. This has never happend with any other blackberry I have had. It always tried to send the message until it got it through. While this is going on I still recieve e-mails and text messages. What is the problem and how can I address it?
Just last night I got the white screen with the reload software: 507 error. I was downloading some new apps my phone just crashed, so I tried to reload the software and all that. When at the loader app, the "waiting to initiate device" step, my phone turns on but with the error and the loader doesn't recognize my phone and asks me if I want to retry or cancel everything. I have tried a bunch of methods out there on the other forums, but they didn't work.
This happens with literally every single e-mail I get! I have to refresh Mail twice to make messages stay in my inbox, else new messages disappear and do the same thing the next time the iPhone checks for e-mails (which is very annoying because if I leave it it'll vibrate over and over again because of just one e-mail).Restoring doesn't do it, and my iPod touch actually does the same thing too.
Yesterday afternoon, I rebooted my device. A white screen appeared and it says reload software 552, I have looked all over the internet downloaded jl_cmder but it doesn't work. It wont even connect to the blackberry desktop via USB. I am not bothered about losing all my stuff from my phone, I just want it to work.
I have a MacBook and I haven't really done anything that could cause this problem. I removed the AP News program and on the next reboot, it comes up with the error screen that says Reload Software 552. I didn't back up anything because I didn't even foresee this coming. I'm reading that I have to completely reinstall the OS again, and I've also read that I can go into my Blackberry on my computer and remove the newly installed(and in this case, uninstalled) application. I'm not currently home so I can't try this but I'm wondering if anyone has other solutions. This is super weird because I had a dream I jumped into a pool with my phone last night and it broke.
My nephew is visiting me for the summer and he has a Blackberry 8530. Tonight the screen went white and there is an error message stating: reload software 513. There is also a rectangular symbol with a circle around it and a line through it.I have never had a Blackberry so I am at a loss. I was surfing around and I have found conflicting information. I am going to download the Blackberry desktop software onto my computer and my instinct is telling me to download software V.184.108.40.2069 (his sister has this on her Blackberry). Additionally, they neglected to bring a data cord for their phones, however the one I have for my Palm Pre seems to fit - do you think it'll work or should I buy a new one?
I have had my blackberry for 4 months and love it.I had an upgrade for App world which after stopped working.I found no way of deleting it or going back a version so i decided to try the desktop manager to see if i could do something through that.I had another upgrade waiting for the actual device so went a head with it and now wish i hadnt.The phone gets to a certain point on the upgrade (net-rim-cldc.cod) then stops doing anything .It has been at this point for nearly 3 hours now. Phone now shows a white screen with message *reload software 907* but how as the thing is doing nothing!.
I am trying to sort out my Blackberry curve which is showing the error message Java 102 reset. I have tried to follow the instructions in KB11320 & KB10068 but the phone has the most up-to-date version of the software on it and the 'view other versions' option is not available.
I had a curve 8310 on o2 and moved to a bold 9700 still on o2.When i moved i used the desktop manager and did the device switch over, all went well including bbm etc.However whenever i tried to send an email i recieved the error message 'transaction error failure at service' - I tried to log into my bis account online to update my pin but i couldnt log on! i havent changed the password or username since my old blackberry so i cant log on to change it online. on my blackberry when i try to log on to email settings it says the username field is blank!
i called o2 they put me through to geek squad and wanted to charge me to help!!! I havent had the phone 2 weeks yet.Now i think that i need to call o2 again and ask them something like releasing my old pin maybe from my bis account or resetting the bis account,any ideas what i should do or the type of questions i need to ask o2 if i have to ring them again.
I'm using a unlocked blackberry storm 9530 VZW, today I upgrade it to version 5.0 after update complete from internet my phone stop working just starting and then it shows a white screen written "Reload Software 507". I tried loading the same version and deleted the vendor.xml file but still its not working.
My Blod 9900 has been displaying an error message "JVM Error 517 Reset" for the past 48hours. I read in the forum that I need to Update software but I use desktop Manager 5.0.1 and each time I try accessing the App Loader it disconnects the device. Does this mean I need to get Ver. 6 Desktop manager.
Trying to download the application foursquare and there was a error. The error message that comes to the top of the screen reads "The application FourSquare has attempted to open a file connection which is not allowed by the application's permissions. OK" I press ok to get out of the error message and the message won't go away. I've tried reseting the phone by taking the battery out and restarting but the message always reappears.
