View 4 Repliesmy phone X2 02 .....it update via Nokia care Colombo...but i can't radio recording now......i don't what to do.....before i visit Nokia care because Nokia browser going Chinese language & facebook apps and can't acess to internet ..so after updating nokia browser it's back to english languge & can go internet but facebook app and other still didn't acess internet.Moderator's note: The post moved from another thread. My s2 will let me connect to the internet through the browser no problems but none of the apps that require internet (play store, gmail, facebook etc) will work. Have reset the network settings, restarted my phone and am still stuck.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo about half an hr ago i got a prompt to update my phone to (45.2.5.en.US) and it installed successfully, then I had problems with WiFi and so restarted my phone, now when I try to access any app that requires WiFi it seems as though it doesn't read it. The browser works fine, but any other app doesn't.
View 2 Replies View RelatedEvery time I connect my phone to a laptop, all of my apps that are saved to the sd card disappear from the home screen. Also, if I move an app to the sd card, when it's not connected to a computer, it disappears from my home screen as well.It seems like a recent update to the phone has caused problems with app to sd functionality. Is there any way to fix this other than moving all my apps back to the phone?

I have set the default connection in Settings > Connections > Destinations to 'Always Ask'. However, I have noticed that my phone is still connecting to the internet (3G connected icon showing on the standby screen) even when no other programs are runing (according to a long 'Menu' press). When I receive a call I get a message on screen advising that the packet data connection is on hold. 'Packet data active' shown on screen when the call ends. The log also shows the internet connection is being made and maintained often for hours on end, e.g. through the night. Although the amount of data being sent and received is relatively small, this is still a concern for the future if I'm ever roaming or on a metered tariff. Any help to resolve this is much appreciated.

But after ejecting, I can't open any of the apps I downloaded. When I press on them, they just shake but nothing opens!

Registered my device, setup up my email, browsed on internet and used various applications.Then i did not use BIS for 2 days. After two days i again subscribed for 1 day BIS plan but nothing is working now. My network shows i am subscribed but the service status show BIS is not connected.

Doesn't give me options of using the phone as a mass storage device or usb drive.Besides this phone there are 2 more bb's(curve and bold) which work absolutely fine with the laptop.

If I try to do so in the MSC mode, Google Play tells me that the download of the app will start soon, but then nothing happens.If I connect the XPeria in the MTP mode, nothing happens except that my computer utters the first tone of the "USB connected"-signal three times. In the MTP mode the Sony PC companion also tells me that itīs not possible to connect the phone.I reinstalled the PC Companion, restarted my computer and my phone but nothing changed.Is there any possibility to install Apps in the MSC mode? If not, how can I make the MTP mode work again?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a 2 unlocked T Mobile BB 9700's.My provider is WIND mobile in Canada.I baught the phones used from ebay. One of the phones is working fine.The other phone is not connecting to the 3G network. It is not even showing the 3G network when I manually search networks. I want it to connect to the 3G network because WIND only uses 3G.Both are running the same( latest )OS version. I have switched sim cards(to no avail) and I have tried to restore it to factory settings using the wipe feature in the security settings(nothing)
Both phones are next to each other. One is showing 3G the other is showing 2G (same carrier).what gives??
I've recently upgraded my phone to the Blackberry 9700 (my first BB so I'm completely clueless) and received it yesterday.I also changed my plan to allow internet access.
I registered my phone and was told to turn it off for 2 hours so they can update the sim and everything, which I did. I then turned it on and I can make calls, send texts and all of that, but when I try to access the internet it says 'This is a Wi-Fi service. Please ensure your device has an active Wi-Fi connection and try again'? I'm taking a guess here, but I think this may be because they haven't updated my plan yet?
Also, I went on the browser whilst connected to Wi-Fi, tried to download the app world and it said something along the lines of 'Sorry your device does not meet the system requirements require'. What's going on?
I have installed the Bell 5.0 OS on my Rogers bold. Everything went pretty well for a week, and I loved this new OS. But this morning, my BB data stopped to work (email, browser etc.) and on the network status screen, it said that it was not connected to BIS. I connected to my Wifi network, and the BIS connection was back (using wifi). I closed Wifi, called Rogers, they sent a new config to my BB, and everything worked for a minute. Then it then stopped again. Suspecting that my OS was a bit messy, I wiped my device and installed 5.0 from scratch. Still no connection to BIS. So I wiped again and installed the latest Official OS from Rogers. Everything was fine. I then upgraded to 5.0 and lost connectivity to BIS again Any idea on what is going on? Anyone is having trouble have their BB connect to BIS?

Also when I go into apps it tells me in order to continue using it I have to upgrade, when I click upgrade it says there is not enough network coverage to process my request, yet I am connected to the net ok?
my bold 9780 doesn't detect the wifi of my router. The wireless router is a cisco linksys E2000. First I thought the wifi of the cellphone was broke, but when I walk down the street I pick up every single wifi signal there is. I've adjusted the safety settings of the router from WPA to WPA2 to WEP, didn't work. I've read somewhere that it could be that I had to install a certificate to be able to see the modem, but where do I get that?

It is showing GPRS so it should be connecting.
I've clicked 'register now' for the host routing and it got back saying bb has been registered with wireless network. I've tried taking the battery out which hasn't worked either.
Ive had my bb bold for a year now and all has been fine until a few days ago when it stopped using my wifi (although it says its connected as have wifi name on home page). On the service status page it says the BIS is connect by mobile network and BES is not connected.............normally they are both connected by wifi.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI installed a Sony XAV 62BT receiver in my car this weekend. An important buying decision was improving the bluetooth audio experience in my car. My wifes iphone connects and works beautifully but the minute the blackberry connects to the receiver it seems to lock up the receivers tuner and ipod playing functionality. I am able to make calls and receive calls while the blackberry is engaged but all calls and functions need to be handled through the blackberry keyboard.

I got a message with updates for bbm and twitter but was not able to execute them because I could not log in when requested to do so.I tried the reset password option just to make sure that I was entering the right one.I updated my thirdparty info.I also made sure that the device was registered with the wireless network.Each time I try to log in my "tries" (out of 10) keep going down and an e-mail is sent to my address that I registered the bb with. My browser works.i have tryed reloading os, battery pulls, registering to network, resending service books.i also called t-mobile and they sent me a new phone because none of their people could help me. I am still having the same problems with new phone

I am able to connect to the internet through the browser but none of the applications that i have installed are able to connect. These applications include Blackberry app world, goolge talk, facebook application, and i tryed to get google maps but it wouldn't finish loading up. I also don't have a blackberry maps application?
Things that i have already tried:
-Battery pulls
-Application loader to reload software
-registering to network and resending service books
-Called t-mobile and they couldn't help so they sent me another phone but still having the same problems
I recently had the app error 523, and because I stupidly hadn't backed up on my PC, I lost everything as I had to reload the OS etc. I use things like my calendar etc a lot, so hate the idea that my blackberry could stop working again at any time and I'd lose everything since my last back up.
So is there a way to wirelessly backup through the blackberry's own internet, or is doing it through the desktop manager the only way?
