Nokia Lumia :: Connecting Zune And Marketplace For Apps Via Usb

when it comes to my Nokia lumia 800 and i know the app store was removed from zune but i also read it is still possible to download apps with your pc via usb for the phone can someone give me exact instructions on how to do this because from what i have read you just plug in you phone to pc, zune opens no probs then go to windows marketplace and download but it only gives 2 options :via text or : via e-mail nothing about usb
For some strange reason, the Apps from Nokia section of the marketplace app on my Lumia 710 is not able to refresh itself, to the extent that there are two icons not fully loaded. None of the newly available apps appear here (including camera extras and contacts transfer), which I managed to get through a QR code download.
I used to monitor "New" applications on the Marktplace and they usually updated every day or two, now, fo weeks I have the same - the "top 3" are:You tube downloaderBT Wi-FiFlash Cinemaand they've been there for at least a week. Other things work OK, though the "loading" of anyting on the markeplace takes much longer than before even when connected t the same WiFi speed as before) - for example, there is about a minute between when I touch an app on the apearing app-list and until I see the "install" "cancel" buttons (usually, I see some of the info loading, but not all and it takes age. I've restarted etc many times, no joy.
Whenever I try to connect my Lumia 900 to Zune for this latest upgrade, it tells me the connection fails and tells me to reboot my phone and try again. Rebooting and trying again does not help.I had this same problem with the previous upgrade. Back then I succeeded in upgrading after I deleted certificates and Forgot the phone on Zune. (The only other time that Zune connected to my phone successfully was when I first installed it.) This time I've deleted the certificates but cannot forget the phone because it doesn't connect.
I asked my two friends who have Lumias if I may try connecting to their computers (I received advice to try on another computer on this board). Both said they don't use Zune because it never works for them. I tried on one of their computers nevertheless, but of course it didn't work.
Does this mean I will never get an upgrade ever again? If so, how do I stop my phone from telling me every two days that I have an upgrade available and should connect to Zune to run it? tell me I'll have to hard reset my phone to connect it with the application that I'm supposed to use for backing up my data.
I am trying to connect my lumia 800 to my windows 7 computer but zune keeps saying: cannot connect to phone. Turn your phone off and try again. (something like that, the message is not in English).
I have tried everything I could find to solve this problem but nothing worked so far.
1)Why there is no equalizer in zune (lumia 800) and zune software (pc) is alo not user friendly. Why can't nokia comes up with there own PC SUITE for windows phone..... pc suite for symbian phones is ultimate and user friendly. we can't even synchronise our TEXT MESSAGES with zune. Is there is any possibility tht in future nokia comes up with there own pc suite for windows phones OR can update and make some changes to zune software.2) Is there is any possibility in future that we can share stuff with bluetooh to every mobile phone?
Currently Zune supports only mp4 format.Zune cant able to sync other video formats.Even the files cant be downloaded from Internet Explorer.I contacted nokia. They said Phone will support all these formats. there is no way to import such video formats into phone.Then, how can i play?When i download video, it simply plays. But cant able to download into phone.
I signed up an account windows live, it allows me to download everything on marketplace. I also downloaded ZUNE set up on my laptop ( OS: Windows 7 ) and create an account on ZUNE. But when I plugged in my phone into laptop, on screen, the ZUNE said "No device is connected". I don't know why.
And I want to tranfer music and pictures from my laptop to phone and vice versa. How can I do that if ZUNE said No device is connected?
I have lumia 710. I have just downloaded the Zune PC program. It is 100MB !!With other phones, you just need to plug in the phone USB and the PC sees the phone as a drive.Why do I need 100MB ? I don't want 100MB. I am not interested in what Zune can supposedly do for me - I already have other programs which do all I want done, without messing up my PC with a vast amount of software I do not want.
Does anybody know how to transfer office files into Nokia Lumia 900 directly without going through the Microsoft skydrive / sharepoint. Zune doesn't allow transfer of office documents.
I Purchased Lumia 610. According to Wensite Mass Memory is 8 GB But When I Connect Phone Through Zune Software Then It Shows 5.76 GB. Why It Shows Low Memory ?
I wanted to install Nokia Music app which is currently absent on my phone. But, I can't find the app anywhere in marketplace, not even in Nokia collection!
Ive got the Nokia Lumia 800 and up until a week ago all functions on my phone have been working perfectly. I tried to access the Marketplace the opther day and couldn't - i dont get any errors, all that happens when i click the icon (which is on the home screen) the other icons disappear (as they no9rmally do when you are launching a new app/program) but then a second later they all come back and the marketplace hasn't loaded - this also happens with the games - it looks like its going to launch but then reverts back to the original screen - again no errors.
my wifi and marketplace aren't working on my Lumia 610.
I have it maybe two months, and just today the Wifi stopped working. Laptops, other smartphones and an iPod are all connecting to the modem just fine. Just my phone. It also keeps telling me my internet password is wrong, when it's not.
Finally, on Nokia's website, I believe, it told me to try resetting my phone. Did it. Still not working. Now I'm getting the error code: 805a0193 in the marketplace, so now I can't download any apps.
I had literally done NOTHING to the phone, this just started out of nowhere.
I am unable to access the marketplace. it asking to install a app called refresh marketplace to be able to carry on using the marketplace but when I install the app and restart the phone the marketplace still dose not work it just goes back showing refresh marketplace and nothing else.
My 920 used to show app updates in the marketplace, but, I haven't seen an actual app update for a couple weeks now.. I recently updated my Rogers 920 yesterday and still am not seeing app updates.. As it sits right now, I have to manually go into the app in the app store to update them..

The windows phone marketplace is not showing updates for apps. Apparently when I get into marketplace and then select the app (that has already been installed), I get an option of update and share. Before updating to the current (latest firmware) the update was available even in the marketplace tile. Is it because of the maintenance process being carried out with marketplace (as mentioned by a user in the discussion page?). Lumia 710 User.
I bought the Lumia 920 5 days ago and City Lens has not downloaded properly since day one. It loads about half way and then I get an error message that says attention required tap here. I've tried to download it several times and it still won't load. All other apps will load though.
Got a new Lum 1320, but my zune app is not detecting my phone. My laptop is in win 8 and when i connect my phone it shows as windows phone in my computer, but Zone says - phone not connected. I had a photon and used it for a month until I realized that I could not live without a keyboar. I turned it back in and now have an Admiral. There are lots of apps in the Marketplace that I had on my Photon that I cannot find for the Admiral. For instance, Words with Friends. I had it on the Photon but can't find it now with the Admiral.
The song title and artist does not display when streaming music from Nokia Music on my Windows Phone through my car stereos' bluetooth connection. It also does not allow me to skip songs using my car stereo.
The Zune music player on my Windows Phone has this functionality.
I am unable to update Applications or preview attachments in gmail over the mobile network. However, the same is working on the wireless network.I have probably reset my phone to factory settings/repaired the installation atleast 3 times in the past for other problems such as missing entries in call logs, slow response, etc. I am on Anrdroid 2.1 Random reboots happen almost thrice a week and phone response is very slow. I think I should go back to my blackberry.
