I bought the Lumia 920 5 days ago and City Lens has not downloaded properly since day one. It loads about half way and then I get an error message that says attention required tap here. I've tried to download it several times and it still won't load. All other apps will load though.

I live in a small town in Denmark that is extremely popular with foreign tourists, and a good few of our bars, restaurants and cafes have either changed ownership/name or closed. None of the new places are on City Lens, whereas most of the old ones still are (several closed more than 18 months ago).
When a destination is determined or chosen on City Lens, is there a way to use Nokia Drive to navigate right from City Lens?

So i tried to update and it would stop midway with an error, now my len's icon which has the white building is now black and doesnt work. When i try to download, it goes halfway and wont fully dl or install. I can not use any longer. The weird thing is that it is still in my app list, when i try to remove, the uninstall option is grayed out, so its just sitting there.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIve got the Nokia Lumia 800 and up until a week ago all functions on my phone have been working perfectly. I tried to access the Marketplace the opther day and couldn't - i dont get any errors, all that happens when i click the icon (which is on the home screen) the other icons disappear (as they no9rmally do when you are launching a new app/program) but then a second later they all come back and the marketplace hasn't loaded - this also happens with the games - it looks like its going to launch but then reverts back to the original screen - again no errors.

I have it maybe two months, and just today the Wifi stopped working. Laptops, other smartphones and an iPod are all connecting to the modem just fine. Just my phone. It also keeps telling me my internet password is wrong, when it's not.
Finally, on Nokia's website, I believe, it told me to try resetting my phone. Did it. Still not working. Now I'm getting the error code: 805a0193 in the marketplace, so now I can't download any apps.
I had literally done NOTHING to the phone, this just started out of nowhere.

I am unable to access the marketplace. it asking to install a app called refresh marketplace to be able to carry on using the marketplace but when I install the app and restart the phone the marketplace still dose not work it just goes back showing refresh marketplace and nothing else.
when it comes to my Nokia lumia 800 and i know the app store was removed from zune but i also read it is still possible to download apps with your pc via usb for the phone can someone give me exact instructions on how to do this because from what i have read you just plug in you phone to pc, zune opens no probs then go to windows marketplace and download but it only gives 2 options :via text or : via e-mail nothing about usb

Apparently when I get into marketplace and then select the app (that has already been installed), I get an option of update and share. Before updating to the current (latest firmware) the update was available even in the marketplace tile. Other things work OK, though the "loading" of anyting on the markeplace takes much longer than before even when connected t the same WiFi speed as before) - for example, there is about a minute between when I touch an app on the apearing app-list and until I see the "install" "cancel" buttons (usually, I see some of the info loading, but not all and it takes age. When I try to buy games from Nokia Marketplace it says I need to register a payment card, however when I enter the card details and the card is accepted and I go back to buy the game it still says that I have no payment card registered and must add one before I can proceed. If I try to enter the same card details again it won't accept it because it says that card has already been registered although its clearly not in the list of payment cards when I try to buy. I have now added 3 different cards in total and none of them are showing on the list or being allowed to be registered again.

View 3 Replies View Relatedrecently ive come into a few issues with my N97 and my local nokia care center for that matter.as far as i am aware, nokia has acknowledged that the earlier model N97 had a design fault with the camera assembly where the lens slider is mounted too close to the glass, and as a result, was easily scratched.from my research a while ago, nokia acknowledged this and that it would be covered under warranty, and that they would replace the camera assembly with a newer model that doesnt have this issue.
however, my local nokia care centre refuse to acknowledge the issue and has caused my a lot of problems. the first time i brought my phone in, they correctly replaced the camera assembly with the new one. however, they somehow managed to stop the phone from recognising any sim card. so i brought it back in again, and this time they replaced the phone with a blank N97, however, this n97 had firmware issues and had the original camera slider with the design fault, and they continued to act rude and said that i didnt know what i was talking about and continued to insult me stating that it is not an acknowledged issue with the phone.
now, can someone confirm for me, or better yet, supply me with a link about the official nokia statement on this matter?
n97 is indeed a nice phone and i really don't regret my investment but i'm facing a problem with it's camera. I've learnt from the net that there was a problem with the cover which is too close and did scratched the lens. The result is that at night or in areas with low light the picture quality is very very bad. That's what happening with my n97. Nokia said to return it to their dealer to make the necessary to solve the problem and that's what i did, but there they are saying that it's my fault and that i've scratched it myself. How can i proof that's it's a common problem with that phone??? help plz... i previously has a n95 with a very good camera,sold it, and now can't accept having bought a more expensive one which should be better with it's double flash etc.and be so disappointed.
