Does anybody know how to transfer office files into Nokia Lumia 900 directly without going through the Microsoft skydrive / sharepoint. Zune doesn't allow transfer of office documents.

It is 100MB !!With other phones, you just need to plug in the phone USB and the PC sees the phone as a drive.Why do I need 100MB ? I don't want 100MB. I am not interested in what Zune can supposedly do for me - I already have other programs which do all I want done, without messing up my PC with a vast amount of software I do not want.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIt is very frustrating when you can't access to memory storage in Nokia Lumia 800 and even Can't transfer documents (PDF, Word Excel) to phone.I think Zune is the too fancy tools (software) to transfer and not user friendly.Probably move back to HTC as no point have a good graphic phone without having essential normal functions.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to connect my Lumia 900 to Zune for this latest upgrade, it tells me the connection fails and tells me to reboot my phone and try again. Rebooting and trying again does not help.I had this same problem with the previous upgrade. Back then I succeeded in upgrading after I deleted certificates and Forgot the phone on Zune. (The only other time that Zune connected to my phone successfully was when I first installed it.) This time I've deleted the certificates but cannot forget the phone because it doesn't connect.
I asked my two friends who have Lumias if I may try connecting to their computers (I received advice to try on another computer on this board). Both said they don't use Zune because it never works for them. I tried on one of their computers nevertheless, but of course it didn't work.
Does this mean I will never get an upgrade ever again? If so, how do I stop my phone from telling me every two days that I have an upgrade available and should connect to Zune to run it? tell me I'll have to hard reset my phone to connect it with the application that I'm supposed to use for backing up my data.
I am trying to connect my lumia 800 to my windows 7 computer but zune keeps saying: cannot connect to phone. Turn your phone off and try again. (something like that, the message is not in English).
I have tried everything I could find to solve this problem but nothing worked so far.

1)Why there is no equalizer in zune (lumia 800) and zune software (pc) is alo not user friendly. Why can't nokia comes up with there own PC SUITE for windows phone..... pc suite for symbian phones is ultimate and user friendly. we can't even synchronise our TEXT MESSAGES with zune. Is there is any possibility tht in future nokia comes up with there own pc suite for windows phones OR can update and make some changes to zune software.2) Is there is any possibility in future that we can share stuff with bluetooh to every mobile phone?

I also downloaded ZUNE set up on my laptop ( OS: Windows 7 ) and create an account on ZUNE. But when I plugged in my phone into laptop, on screen, the ZUNE said "No device is connected". I had the Focus prior to this using Office 365 for our corporate mail. When I got the new phone for some reason deleting mail on Office 365 locks the phone for probably 5-10 seconds per mail item. This probably happens 8/10 times, and then the other 2/10 times it goes lightning fast like it did on the Focus. I thought it was a connection issue but I tried enabling and disabling the Wi-Fi so it forces it to go off 4G LTE, and it also the reverse so it goes off Wi-Fi, but for some reason it still does the same thing.
I can delete like 5 emails hanging on each of them, then on the 6th for some reason, runs really fast, then 7th-9 slow and then 10 is fast all in rapid succession.
Is the ms office for belle compatible with all versions of ms office (2002 - 2010)

have just got a Samsung Galaxy S2 and created my first document on Polaris office, saving it as a .doc file. But when copying it to my computer and trying to open it, up flashes a Microsoft Office File Validation security alert, saying that a problem has been detected in trying to open the file and that opening it is probably dangerous and may allow a malicious user to take over my computer.I'm aware that there are issues with MOFV over reading some file formats -- has anyone come across this? Is it that MOFV can't read Polaris files, or is there the possibility of something sinister going on? I've run two different antivirus programme scans (installed on two different computers) on this file, which haven't flagged anything.

This has happened with Word and Excel documents.Edit and save went fine, with no errors or upload issues.Both times, the document originated on my PC (Win8.1, Office 2013), and I edited & saved on my 1020.I don't really care about whether it happens when a document originates on my phone, as I really need to edit existing documents on the go.
As I continue testing this issue, I'm beginning to think more and more that this is a buggy PC Office update, and not something with Cyan/8.1.

I tried the appealing Bluetooth option, but unfortunately it didn't work. The pairing of the devices seemed to go OK.But after starting "contacts transfer" with some dots running over the screen of Lumia for a few second, I got "unable to complete the connection etc.".So apparently N95 is not supported or something.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have around 450 contacts in my address book (names, address, phone nos) on N9 and around 400 on Windows Lives account (combination of Gmail, Facebook and LinkedIn) on my Lumia 800.So, I tried using the Contacts Transfer app to move the contacts from N9 to Lumia via Bluetooth. What happened was that it transferred around 60-70 contacts and then failed.I tried repeating it several times, each time having to pair with the N9 again on Bluetooth and each time failing the transfer after moving around 60-70 or so contacts.I then decided to give up and look into PeopleHub and under the contacts, I found hundreds of entries labelled <Unnamed>, with empty contents in them.Now, how can I get rid of them and why failing to complete the transfer resulted in these blank entries being generated?I also logged into my Windows Live account and indeed, it is saying I have over 900 contacts but these <Unnamed> contacts are not listed anywhere in the ALL, 123, A, B, C, D, E, etc. groups. So, I'm unable to bulk delete them on the web.
