Aug 16, 2010I downloaded OS 5.0.0.810 and deleted the vendor.xml file! When I open DM6 it says I have an upgrade available, click on it, asks me if I want to install I say yes, then a I get a screen that says ERROR, one or more modules could not be resolved? It does not tell me which one, any suggestions? I'm on Verizon running OS 5.0.0.732.

Flop battery out, wait, put battery in - nothing Boot it up without SIM card - nothing Boot it up in safe modus - nothing Keep it on the loading screen for a night - nothing Keep battery out for a night - nothing Hook it up to computer - nothing (Computer sees blackberry, when it hits 70% loading connection lost. due the fact it wont connect to the computer i cant preform a nuke or a format..
BB Bold :: Stuck On Loading Screen
Jul 11, 2011Hoping someone can help me troubleshoot this issue. When I turn on my Blackberry (Bold 9700) you get the screen where it shows the whitebar where the phone is loading....I get about 3/4 of the way through and it just stales. I've tried taking out the battery for several minutes then putting everything back together with no luck....screen still only loads about 3/4 of the way.

Nov 23, 2011This is my second BB 9000, and yet again, it's nuked. No accidents, good battery...just one morning it didn't want to switch on. The red light flashed for about 10 seconds, then switched off for 10 seconds. I replaced the battery with a new one...same result.Endless hours of research later:I did a battery pull several times. I then used App Loader to wipe the BB clean and install my carrier's OS (followed instructions on how to recover a nuked BB). Everything went fine until "Wait for device initialization", where it gets stuck and says "Application loader was unable to locate your device...click retry" .At this point, when the red light goes off, the screen comes on and displays the words "BlackBerry" with a progress bar underneath it...then after a couple of seconds, the screen goes off and the red light is back on again.
This loop continues indefinitely.I tried clicking "retry" countless times. I tried updating through BB Desktop Manager (latest version), it got stuck at the same point. I tried JL_Cmder...it won't locate the device on time before the screen goes off. I tried BBSAK, it won't locate the device period. I've even tried pulling and replacing the battery at different points in said loop.This is my second BB 9000 getting nuked. For no apparent reason
BB Bold 9700 :: Loading Screen Freeze
Jan 4, 2010Woke up this morning - and it's on the loading screen (that you see after a battery pull) with the progress bar three quarters complete. It's not progressing. Tried removing the battery. Any ideas?
Has been working perfectly for the last 2 months. Haven't changed anything.
BB Bold 9700 :: Browser Not Loading Pages
Apr 2, 2010Using the standard browser on my Bold 9700, when I try and do a Google search, or when I look at most pages, the page doesn't load at all. When I refresh it a few times or change between column and regular view some of the page shows up sometimes, but not all of it. I've had my BlackBerry since about a month ago and the problem just started last night.
I've done the battery pull several times, and I've cleared the cache a lot. Problem still persists. Opera meanwhile can load any page.
I don't know of any other fixes, so, is there maybe a way I can reinstall the BlackBerry browser? I would really prefer to use it instead of Opera.

Nov 26, 2010It is very strange - the phone blocked and was unresponsive for some time, then I restarted it and it is stuck on the restart loading screen (the black screen with bb logo and the progress bar). If I wait 15 mins it goes to the next white screen with the bb logo but never manages to go any further even after 2 hours waiting.
I tried hard reset(battery pull), then I tried wiping it with JL cmder but it can't connect to the device because it is not loaded. Then I tried the desktop manager to update and install a new os but it just doesn't find any os although I have 2 os versions for bb 9780 installed on my pc.

There is nothing on the screen and the backlight is white and never turns off. I tried battery pull number of times. This usually occurs after I start listening to internet radio. Jun 19, 2010i was watching a video on my blackberry bold and the battery was almost dead, the LED was flashing and there was the red sign of the low battery but i ignored that and kept watching the video then suddenly the blackberry freezes and the loading sign appears i take out the battery and put it back in (hard reset)
but it didnt turn back on!! nothing happened! the screen remained black and the LED didnt flash the normal red color at the first of booting .i waited overnight with the battery out.. but the next day it still didnt boot and the LED didnt even turn red:S:S..then i tried charging it.. but nothing happened .. and the LED didnt turn red.

May 12, 2010I've got a BB BOLD 9700 and I woke up today for it to have an all-white screen, so I turned it off via battery as it was unresponsive and now it won't load past 3/4 of the load-up screen... does anybody have any ideas of what I can do?I've looked around on other forums with advice on what to do with a 'nuked' BB, but they all say you've got to have a Windows PC and I've got a Mac!

The red light will disappear and the screen will go white and show the black timer box thingy for a minute or so like it is about to load then the process will repeat. The camera was being a little funny and won't zoom so I switched off my phone and took out the battery and replaced it to try and reboot the phone. Now it won't turn on!When the battery is in the Red LED light at the top right corner lights up then goes off when the Phone starts up showing the BLACKBERRY Logo on the screen with the Loading Bar underneath. The bar then shows that it is loading but almost immediately it crashes and switches off. It does this repeatedly though I've tried removing and replacing the battery several times.I'm sure it is not a problem with the battery as I had only charged it the previous night and even tried using another battery from my friends Blackberry just to double check but the phone continues to repeatedly turn on, crash, turn off.

May 12, 2010I have a blackberry bold 9000, recently ive been having some problems with it, i did a routine battery pull while the phone was frozen, when it rebooted the arm on the loading screen went around twice then the phone rebooted again, it repeatedly does this until the phone dies, if i hook it up to the charger....same outcome, i am a poet and have months of work stored in the memos, and have about 90 numbers that werent saved on the simcard, i took the simcard out and the memory card, i have done pretty much everything i wus ever told to do as far as fixing it, i plan on buying an bold 9700 but i still must retrieve my contacts and memos can anyone give me any tips as far as fixing it, or atleast tell me how to get my memos and contacts off, thanks for your time and consideration.
