BB Bold :: SMS Icon Shows Email Only?
Jun 9, 2010Since some time my SMS icon doesn't show SMS'es as it should, but instead only my e-mails. I had to adjust the settings of the e-mail icon to also show SMS'es, but having both showing in one list is not convenient. It looks as if the properties of the SMS icon are completely taken over by the e-mail icon, as changing a setting under the e-mail icon also changes that same setting under the SMS icon...
how to get my SMS'es back as an independent folder?
BB Bold :: Shows Small CM Over Battery Icon When Charging?
Dec 24, 2011My Blackberry Bold shows the small letters CM over the battery icon when the charger is connected but it will not charge. I've tried removing the battery putting it back in, I've tried 3 chargers, but the battery just continued to drain until it finally went into red. I've been "googling" all day and cannot find any reference to what I'm seeing.

May 20, 2010I have had the curve for a few weeks now. At first i changed the settings of the browser to "hotspot" so i could use it with wifi. It was working really well, then all of a sudden it stopped durin browsing. The phone says the wifi connection is fine, but whenever i go to the broswer and try to go to a website it just says loading at the bottom and nothing happens.
Can anyone help with this? should i restart the phone setting somehow because i might have done changed some setting during browsing without realising or is this an actual issue with the phone?

May 11, 2012I went to an adult site by accidnet and a pop up appeared. It was blacked out and I exited. Then when I went to facebook the loading icon just kept on spinning. It doesn't stop and it keeps coming back. I went to general settings and deleted my cache, history and cookies but that didn't work. I also tried restarting my phone but nothing. When I go to other web sites its ok but the only site its happening to is Facebook, the app itself is ok. What could be causing this?

Mar 30, 2010I just got this Blackberry 8330 a month ago and am having problems. Two days ago, every time I tried to use it, it gives me this loading hourglass icon and it takes forever to get to the task. It acts like dial up internet. Even making a simple call takes forever. What can I do. It also sucks up charge. If I completely charge it up at night, it may hold charge until about 5:00 pm that same day.

Apr 8, 2010I recently purchased a samsung SGH-F480. Thanks to this forum website I was able to enter the proper codes so it would work with my provider (At&t). However, the icon always shows as G network, and not 3G. Does anybody know what the problem is or/and how to fix it? My phone is 3G capable, so I know the phone should be able to do that. What can I do? Who is "in charge" of that: the phone or the service provider?

The blackberry was purchased in India. Since the last week my BB has been randomly showing up the wait icon (the small clock), gets frozen and draining the battery very fast. Some specs below.6.0 Bundle 2475 (v 6.0.0.546, Platform 6.6.0.207) just to let you know I was using Airtel (Bharati Cellular Services India) back then.Free Space: 54929611 bytes I feel that my BB has trouble hooking up with the O2 network (not very sure cause I used it for a good 2 weeks without any problem).I have done innumerable battery pulls and quite a few reinstalls including restoring it to factory defaults and reinstalling the OS again.

Apr 16, 2012My 4s shows that I am connected to wi-fi and have a full signal, however it is not actually connecting to anything; safari, apps, can't send email, can't 'see' phone on my mobile phone tracker etc.
I tried reseting the network connections, which did solve the problem but literally only for a few minutes. So frustrating.
Has anyone got a permanant solution to this problem? All relevant software is bang up to date. The phone itself is brand new, only 1 day old.

I have an icon on my screen that only shows up when I lock my keys it is a blue and white square and thats about all I can tell about it, since I can only see it when the keys are locked and the screen goes black very quickly when locked I cannot examine the Icon very well Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I have gone through all my messages and applications and cant seem to find anything. also when I first noticed the icon it had a 1 next to it and it is now up to 4 so I feel it is some kind of message, but i'm very confused as to why it will only show when the keys are locked.I look forward to see what everyone has to say about this as I have always been VERY pleased with the GREAT information I get from this site!

May 1, 2010I have the calendar icon that updates the date. I think it is made by (DMG) It shows the 31st not the 1st. I had this problem back in Jan but the latest update fixed that. Now the problem is back.

Not sure what is going on and wonder what to do next. I've tried to restart by holding down sleep button and home key in various ways I remember as helping to start up an iPhone when it is stuck, but so far no luck. BB Bold :: Stuck On Loading Screen

When I turn on my Blackberry (Bold 9700) you get the screen where it shows the whitebar where the phone is loading....I get about 3/4 of the way through and it just stales. I've tried taking out the battery for several minutes then putting everything back together with no luck....screen still only loads about 3/4 of the way.

Nov 23, 2011This is my second BB 9000, and yet again, it's nuked. No accidents, good battery...just one morning it didn't want to switch on. The red light flashed for about 10 seconds, then switched off for 10 seconds. I replaced the battery with a new one...same result.Endless hours of research later:I did a battery pull several times. I then used App Loader to wipe the BB clean and install my carrier's OS (followed instructions on how to recover a nuked BB). Everything went fine until "Wait for device initialization", where it gets stuck and says "Application loader was unable to locate your device...click retry" .At this point, when the red light goes off, the screen comes on and displays the words "BlackBerry" with a progress bar underneath it...then after a couple of seconds, the screen goes off and the red light is back on again.
This loop continues indefinitely.I tried clicking "retry" countless times. I tried updating through BB Desktop Manager (latest version), it got stuck at the same point. I tried JL_Cmder...it won't locate the device on time before the screen goes off. I tried BBSAK, it won't locate the device period. I've even tried pulling and replacing the battery at different points in said loop.This is my second BB 9000 getting nuked. For no apparent reason
IPhone 4 :: Mute Switch Shows Icon Change / But Doesn't Mute
Jun 1, 2014When I change the position of the Mute/Silent switch, I get the icon to change (either the bell or the bell with the line through it), but the phone continues to right and never goes on silent. If the icon changes, it seems the switch must work physically, right? As far as I know, I haven't changed any settings.

every now and then it will suddenly have "no service" and then back to full. but still no data loads.
