BB Bold :: Cannot Send Out Emails - Red X Showing Up
Aug 26, 2011I cannot send out a new email. it shows up with a red x. But I can reply to a email. I have 2 account one my yahoo is working but not my google.

View 1 RepliesAll of a sudden the emails that normally come to my blackberry are not showing in the messages folder as they usually would? All I can see in my messages folder is a duplication of my text messages? Which I already have in my text messages folder. Have I inadvertantly changed a setting here or is there something wrong with my phone? I can see the emails arriving and read them but once they are read they disappear!?

Now no emails are coming into phone. I have reset twice by removing the battery. My connections state connected except blackberry enterprise server-not connected.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using two web based email providers, gmail and directbox.com. All my new emails go directly to my 9700, but not all of them go to my outlook. It seems like only unread emails go to my outlook, but then again, sometimes I also get emails to outlook after I have read them on my 9700. I want to receive ALL my emails in outlook, regardless if I have read them already or not.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just set up my new BB bold with both my work email (BES) and my personal hotmail email (BIS). For some reason, when I send emails through hotmail on my phone, they do not show up in the sent folder on my hotmail account, when I access it on my PC. This issue does not occur with the work email. I did not have this problem with my previous BB curve, and all the settings appear to be the same.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I first got the phone, the little red notification did show up above the letter when I got a new email. But after A certain time frame, it would go away. I then found out that after I do a battery pull, it fixes the problem for a while, but then it goes back to not showing the little red notification again. I was wondering if their was a way to fix this? or if its just a permanent bug.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWe recently moved a client of ours back in-house with an exchange server. There are about 5 users that use BlackBerry smartphones. All of the smartphones were configured and activated without issue and are working fine... except 1. This one particular phone cannot reply to messages (Gets the red "X"). It can however compose a new email and send without issue.I've tried deleting the Desktop CMIME service book and resending, to no avail Full wipe and reactivation, to no avail I used the sendastool to reconfigure send as permissions for this user and repeated the steps above, to no avail.I'm just puzzled at this point as to why this one phone cannot send reply emails (again, sending new is no issue!) Granted, i'm not on location and am not seeing exactly what the user is doing, but he has been using his blackberry for years and knows how to send email/reply, etc.

The only problem I have with my Bold 9700 is this; I have 2 email address sert up on my BB. I receive emails that are sent and can reply to emails that I receive. I can add an email address and type out the email but there is no send option. I have tried everything to see if I can alter this but no luck. Any advice anyone?

I have sent for the service books but that hasn't worked.
I received a message from Blackberry saying emails not being delivered & to validate my password but when i try to log into my email account or settings i keep being told my username & or password are wrong! Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to resolve it

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have restored my blackberry 9900 bold backup last night and sincd then i am unable to use my yahoo account on bb, i can receive the emails but cant reply it .... when i try to reply a new window open but on blackberry menu there is no option of send.... and its only happening in Yahoo.... I can use my gmail account and Mail Xchange accounts but the problem is only with yahoo.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am a new Blackberry user and am having a few issues with my email setup. I use Comcast email (pop3) and windows live mail as my email addresses. When I delete an email from my PC or Outlook, it does not update the handheld. I have had the phone for a week or so now and still have all my old deleted emails on it.
My settings are:
Delete On: Mailbox and Handheld
Wireless Reconcile is checked
On Conflicts: Mailbox wins.
Both email accounts are having the same issue. I receive lots of email daily and don't want to have to re-read /re-delete previously deleted emails from my handheld. Is there a setting I am missing here?

View 3 Replies View RelatedOn my 9700 (5.0.0.405), I have my Gmail acct with the enhanced plug-in. I've noticed that when I send an email from my phone, the sent message does not show up in my Gmail list. It *does* show up in the main Messages app. And when that person replies, it shows up as a single email (i.e., doesn't group and show 2 emails with my original). Is this normal? Did it start with BIS 3.0? I can't recall whether it did this prior to 3.0. I also have a Yahoo account, and when I send mail from that, it does show up within the Yahoo Messages app (with a check mark next to it). I also looked through options and "Hide Sent Messages" is set to No.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt's been happening since this today, when I receive a SMS or email the phone rings/vibrates and everything, then when I go to to the SMS&MMS or email icon nothing new is there. Earlier this morning everything was fine, I was sending/receiving texts without any problem. Then I connected my bb to my computer and opened desktop manager, received a SMS while it was plugged in, I tried reading it and saw nothing. That's exactly when I started having this issue. The only unusual thing was that I was running warcraft 3 at the same time but that has nothing to do with the bb. I already tried turning off the phone then turning it back on, did a battery pull using quickpull, did a battery pull physically and it's still the same.
