I am using two web based email providers, gmail and directbox.com. All my new emails go directly to my 9700, but not all of them go to my outlook. It seems like only unread emails go to my outlook, but then again, sometimes I also get emails to outlook after I have read them on my 9700. I want to receive ALL my emails in outlook, regardless if I have read them already or not.
View 4 RepliesI have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've tried to research this elsewhere for a couple of days but haven't got Blackberry Bold 9700 is the phone, and I have hooked up to my outlook account using pop3 account because direct into exchange server is not an option. I get emails and can send emails, no problem. If I delete emails from BB, they delete in outlook BUT not the other way round. So if I delete emails in outlook they do not delete from my phone.
I DON'T run cache exchange mode on outlook, and therefore the emails I read on my outlook are not on a local pst folder. I have enabled wireless reconcile Having recently moved from HTC (using Windows Mobile 6.1 which works a dream with outlook obviously) to BB I am terrified I have tied myself into 2 years of hell,
I sync my BB with Outlook via Google Calendar so the process goes Blackberry to Google Calendars to Outlook via a cable on my PC.
The problem I have is:
Create a calendar item in Outlook -> shows up fine in OWA and on the BB.
Create a calendar item on BB -> shows up in Outlook but not in OWA.
Anyone else come across this? Surely OWA reads the same info as the Outlook client? Why isnt it seeing the calendar item created on the BB?
When I first got the phone, the little red notification did show up above the letter when I got a new email. But after A certain time frame, it would go away. I then found out that after I do a battery pull, it fixes the problem for a while, but then it goes back to not showing the little red notification again. I was wondering if their was a way to fix this? or if its just a permanent bug.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem with my blackberry curve and outlook email. If I scroll through my emails as soon as I scroll over one it changes to "read" even though I haven't opened the email and read it.
I can't find a solution for this, I only want my emails to show as read once I've actually clicked to open it and read the email.
Is it normal for email not to go to BB ever when outlook open on pop3?
Also my wireless sync is turned on but does not seem to work....
On my 9700 (5.0.0.405), I have my Gmail acct with the enhanced plug-in. I've noticed that when I send an email from my phone, the sent message does not show up in my Gmail list. It *does* show up in the main Messages app. And when that person replies, it shows up as a single email (i.e., doesn't group and show 2 emails with my original). Is this normal? Did it start with BIS 3.0? I can't recall whether it did this prior to 3.0. I also have a Yahoo account, and when I send mail from that, it does show up within the Yahoo Messages app (with a check mark next to it). I also looked through options and "Hide Sent Messages" is set to No.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
The contacts in outlook have only my new contact info (1 contact) and the desktop and wireless software want to synchronize with this folder. The sync works between the two devises however it does not recognize the loads of contacts that are on my blackberry devise. I have tried all of the options on the advanced sync option to try toget outlook to download the contact from the Blackberry 9700. How do I get these two to synchronize?

If I'm on my PC and I compose a message to the same email address I'm writing from, which is connected with my BIS, the email doesn't appear on my BB ever.In Gmail, I have forwarding disabled but POP enabled.

All I can see in my messages folder is a duplication of my text messages? Which I already have in my text messages folder. Have I inadvertantly changed a setting here or is there something wrong with my phone? I can see the emails arriving and read them but once they are read they disappear!?

I spent £100 on the latter yesterday after discovering that Windows Calendar can not be synchronised with my new Bold 9700: the sync process ends with a Microsoft Outlook Connector Error message: "No available message stores". Burrowing into Blackberry's on-line support, it seems the most likely cause is BDM - 5.0.1 - trying to connect to an unsupported version of Outlook. (Article ID KB15564).
The result is no contacts or diary on my expensive new smartphone, which is disappointing beyond belief, since Outlook 2007 etc. seems no longer available.
I just set up my new BB bold with both my work email (BES) and my personal hotmail email (BIS). For some reason, when I send emails through hotmail on my phone, they do not show up in the sent folder on my hotmail account, when I access it on my PC. This issue does not occur with the work email. I did not have this problem with my previous BB curve, and all the settings appear to be the same.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been a crackberry user since 1999.I have also been on my corporate Blackberry server for as long as I can remember so I am used to everything being wireless and integrated.Well, the company I am going to does not have the BB server. They do have Outlook Web so I know I can setup my 9700 to "connect" via the OWA service using BIS. My question is for those who do this in a "corporate" environment...
*How well does the Calendar syncing work? Can I really Accept the invite in my BB and then find it properly sync to my calendar when I plug in?
*I am assuming that I won't have the "read message reconciliation" available so is it true I won't have a copy of my Sent Mail from my BB in Outlook when I go back to my desk?
*Back to the calendar, if I accept the invite from my BB, I assume the invite is still in my Outlook Inbox in an "un-accepted" state. Any issues here with accepting it a second time?
*I assume Contacts will sync (not as big a deal)
The company told me "most of the users have an iPhone" and I know iPhone works (no wonder everone I interviewed with had one...). I am just not sure I want to go there. So I am looking for insight from the community before I give up my 10-year passion for the BB and go to an iPhone ((shudder)).
