It was happening to me on OS7, I upgraded to OS 7.1 and its still the same.I tried the following,1. Setting the keep messages option in Messages > Options > message display to 'forever' , 180 days , 90 days etc.2. Battery pull for quite number of times3. Installed newer build of the OS.

For some reason, when I send emails through hotmail on my phone, they do not show up in the sent folder on my hotmail account, when I access it on my PC. This issue does not occur with the work email. I did not have this problem with my previous BB curve, and all the settings appear to be the same.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI started the contract in November 2011 with a Torch 9860.I had numerous problems with the phone freezing and randomly losing data such as texts, call logs and emails. In 9 months I've had 5 phones and 1 sim card change, 2 weeks ago BT changed the handset to a Torch 9810. The phone has worked fine till Friday when it started doing funny things like randomly receiving texts which were from old conversations. On saturday afternoon it lost all data by way of texts, call logs and emails that were over 24 hours old and in the last hour has lost everything over 6 hours old.I have all calls, texts and emails going into the messages list and have that set to save everything for ever so I can chose when to delete information.As I;m a consultant I need my call logs, texts and emails to work out my billing so this really is a pain.

Till a few days back, everything was working perfectly but suddenly, some automatic change happened in the filters of both accounts, and I'm able to see only emails marked 'Important' in those icons. For all the other emails, I have to go to the 'Messages' icon.
When I check the Filter option for my gmail (or official mail) icon, I saw that it was default marked to 'Important'. I am able to change it to 'Inbox' and see my inbox emails temporarily but there's no option of saving that filter type. When I open my gmail (or official mail) icon the next time, I only see the 'Imporant' mails.

With an OS v5.0.I have a corporate email set up through "Enterprise Activation" and I have set up my personal emails through the Email Wizard.The problem is: all the emails go to the Main Inbox. So in the Main Inbox, I have a mix of corporate emails and personal emails.The wizard also created different inbox for my personal emails, so I can access them individualy. But there is no way for me to get the personal emails out of the Main Inbox. Or creating a new Inbox for the Corporate emails.

View 12 Replies View RelatedBlackberry bold 9650, OS 6 bundle 1741 (verizon)issue: I have set up gmail (in addition to my corporate BIS administrater account). when an gmail comes, in the 'gmail icon' shows as if there is an new email, when opening this icon, it doesn't show any email (in the top it shows 'All Mail' folder), but if I go to the main mail icon (desktop mail icon), then I can see my corporate emails AND gmails.Any idea why this behaves this way? I may have played around the gmail plug-in and might try to remove it sometime back. I tried to add it again it says my phone is not compatible.for what is worth, this device was in 5.0 before, I upgraded to OS 6 few months back, since then I have this issue (the plugin was working great in the previous version).

Do you need to have the "BB Enterprise server" to create a new e-mail folder? I just bought Email++ it works perfect what I need to do now is to create a junk mail folder. This option does not show on the menu.

If there a settings to see the details of all the calls.The same goes with Received Calls and Dialled numbers call logs, only the last is shown.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOK I had to call 911 last night for the first time on my new BB after witnessing a Hit & Run, and when later filling out a statement for the police, They wanted the time of the accident in my statment. Well i went to my BB to look up in the call Log to see what time i called, but the 911 Call dose not show up in the call log.
Is this normal? Is there another way to find the call log info for that call, or dose BB not keep records of it? I Just got my BB late dec so I'm still faiirly new to BB's

View 2 Replies View RelatedUsing 9700 on Vodafone UK - Software Version 5.0.0.423..This has happened a few times now. At first I thought it was just me not reading the screen properly. And it only happens now and again.
What happens is that sometimes when I get a call the screen shows the last callers details as if they were ringing again - but it is someone else.When I hang up the call or if I miss the call - the details then show the correct persons details - weird.
If I pull the battery out it all works fine then for a week or two and then starts happening again. It is not a big deal or anything - just a bit strange.
All of a sudden the emails that normally come to my blackberry are not showing in the messages folder as they usually would? All I can see in my messages folder is a duplication of my text messages? Which I already have in my text messages folder. Have I inadvertantly changed a setting here or is there something wrong with my phone? I can see the emails arriving and read them but once they are read they disappear!?
