How to get the option to activate the Enterprise Service on my BB9700 ? My company has the Enterprise Server App installed and working for most of there employees. My issue is that on my particular BB, if I go into Options/Advanced Options there is no menu item for activating the Enterprise app. Do you know if there is a download or something I need from my service providers (AT&T) to allow me to see/have this option on my phone?
Just out of the box but I cannot seem to find the ICON or this option (Enterprise Activation) under advanced options. A coworker did do a few things and I think activated the Blackberry email but I need access to corporate email and have the password for the blackberry server.
But heres the problem as you can see. Sometimes Enterprise Activation disappears, which then would make the perimeters 2,6,2. Which obviously won't work b/c its not set up that way.Anyone have any ideas why this happens? Or what I can do to make it completely gone forever so I can change my perimeters 2,6,2?
I updated to 7.1 and everything was working. At some point the sound files and enterprise activation have gone missing. The sound files are complete gone and enterprise activation does not appear under Advanced System Settings.
I acquired an unlocked T-Mobile blackberry 9700 late last year and had our IT admin guy in NY adding new user license to the blackberry server and then the besadmin had generated activation password for me. I'm using local mobile phone network in Vietnam (Vinaphone) and had installed its service book into my BB. Nevertheless, after having put in my email address and keyed in the activation password, after pressing activate for about 2 minutes of "Acquiring service connection..." my BB keeps on telling me that "Activation request failed. A service connection is unavailable" although the communication receptions signals from my local mobile carrier is strong and I can browse internet and accessing gmail or yahoo mail using my BB (which mean internet connection is available).
We're running BB Pro Software, version 184.108.40.206 in an exchange environment. We've been using 8900 handsets in the UK, over Vodafone for some time, and tyey work great... ...but now we have a new user who's bought a 9700, again over Vodafone, but this time in Germany. When he attempts to use enterprise activation he (eventually) receives "enterprise server has not responded to your activation request"
We've checked that his data plan is compatible with BES. So - how do we get this working? Do I need to upgrade to BES Express 5.0?
I bought a second hand Blackberry Bold 9000 on ebay and I would like to setup my email account, but it ask for an Enterprise Activation password which I don't know where to find? It also says: "Contact your system administrator to find out wether an Enterprise Activation password will be provided, or if you need to install the BlackBerry Desktop Software. Who would be my system administrator and what steps should I take next to ensure the email is setup?
I have a 9780 with OS6 bundle 2115 (v220.127.116.110, platform 18.104.22.168), carrier is Maxis Communication.I was from Malaysia, usually I was using TM streamyx wifi service or even any other free wifi zone and it was fine to connect to BB enterprise server, recently I was upgraded my home network to Unifi service which is using fiber optic cable for more faster speed and stable, after upgrading to this I found out that I was unable to connect to BB enterprise server, do I need any new setting to calibrate to connect or need to refer to the service provider?
I've changed recently my last Curve for a Bold 9790 and I'm a little bit annoyed with the call logs which appeared in the messages application. How to selected "None" in the options listed, but it still doesn't work, event after rebooting the phone.
I've got the Blackberry Internet Service and the right information by my company for the activation. Now I want to activate the enterprise service but it failed. I've seen a video how to do this: [URL].
Setup-> Emails accounts: Video showing two options: normal Mail account and company mail account.
In my system there's not such a thing. I can choose between google & co. or type an own one. Doing this I fail! I think that the right option is missing. How can I activate the enterprise service?
Is there a way to make the Curve 3G 9330 work with a BES server? I've tried following the online instructions, but at the Enterprise Activation stage the option is missing and I can't activate the phone. I have older models that work just fine.
I have recently bought a Blackberry Curve 8520. The phone came set up for Vodacom (I live in South Africa) but I changed to Virgin. Now I am having problems getting the Enterprise Activation Password. I have read previous advice and 'pulled' the battery - nothing. Please whoever replies.....you are dealing with an **bleep** and instructions must be very easy to follow
