BB Curve :: Emails Suddenly Not Showing Up?
Jun 28, 2012I have a BB Curve. I use gmail. Suddenly emails are not showing up on my BB. I have not changed any settings at all. I have tried rebooting by removing the battery.

Dec 29, 2011I am a new Blackberry user and am having a few issues with my email setup. I use Comcast email (pop3) and windows live mail as my email addresses. When I delete an email from my PC or Outlook, it does not update the handheld. I have had the phone for a week or so now and still have all my old deleted emails on it.
My settings are:
Delete On: Mailbox and Handheld
Wireless Reconcile is checked
On Conflicts: Mailbox wins.
Both email accounts are having the same issue. I receive lots of email daily and don't want to have to re-read /re-delete previously deleted emails from my handheld. Is there a setting I am missing here?
BB Curve 8520/8530 :: SMS - Emails Not Showing Up
Apr 21, 2010It's been happening since this today, when I receive a SMS or email the phone rings/vibrates and everything, then when I go to to the SMS&MMS or email icon nothing new is there. Earlier this morning everything was fine, I was sending/receiving texts without any problem. Then I connected my bb to my computer and opened desktop manager, received a SMS while it was plugged in, I tried reading it and saw nothing. That's exactly when I started having this issue. The only unusual thing was that I was running warcraft 3 at the same time but that has nothing to do with the bb. I already tried turning off the phone then turning it back on, did a battery pull using quickpull, did a battery pull physically and it's still the same.

Oct 2, 2011I have configured my mgail and official emails on my BB Curve. Till a few days back, everything was working perfectly but suddenly, some automatic change happened in the filters of both accounts, and I'm able to see only emails marked 'Important' in those icons. For all the other emails, I have to go to the 'Messages' icon.
When I check the Filter option for my gmail (or official mail) icon, I saw that it was default marked to 'Important'. I am able to change it to 'Inbox' and see my inbox emails temporarily but there's no option of saving that filter type. When I open my gmail (or official mail) icon the next time, I only see the 'Imporant' mails.
BB Curve 8300 :: Emails Showing In Reverse Order
Jan 28, 2010I have a friend who just got their Curve 83XX from Verizon. They are telling me that their emails are showing in reverse order. They have to scroll down to see the newest emails. I have the 8310 and have not been able to locate any options to prevent or correct this. Has anyone run across this before and if so, how can this be corrected?

Jan 19, 2010My work Blackberry 8330, using Lotus Notes for email, will take an email I respond to, and within a minute or so of responding to that original email, the original email reverts to "unread" status. This happens every time. It is not "New, Unread", only "Unread". Emails replied to on my PC do not have the same effect on my Blackberry. Is this a setting issue or just one of those things we have to live with?

Nov 19, 2012I am having a problem with my blackberry curve and outlook email. If I scroll through my emails as soon as I scroll over one it changes to "read" even though I haven't opened the email and read it.
I can't find a solution for this, I only want my emails to show as read once I've actually clicked to open it and read the email.

Aug 5, 2010I'm new to blackberry. I purchased a Blackberry Curve 8520 yesterday and I am having some trouble with it.
Problem 1:
New messages wont show up, I have to go into general messages and select "View Folder" > "SMS Inbox"
I have it set to combined simply because I just want all my messages in the main message folder but whenever a new message comes in I have to go into the SMS inbox folder.
Problem 2:
I'm having the same trouble with my email, I keep getting the notification come up for a new email but it is no-where to be found.
Problem 3:
I've set my blackberry to the Vibrate profile, the only time it seems to vibrate is when I get a new facebook notification and thats it.

Jul 4, 2011I have a curve 8330 with Telus.I have a yahoo email acct linked to my BBerry.Lately all my emails are showing up as "Read" (on both BBerry & Yahoo mail) shortly after receiving them.I have not made any changes recently to account for this.

I attempt to do this and it asks me to login which I try to do but it will not let me. I go to the BlackBerry Internet Service page where it tells me to go and i cannot get anywhere. May 8, 2012My iphone 3GS has no sounds now except the phone ringer. I have toggled the mute switch back and forth and it makes no difference. When I go into settings for sounds I see at the top that it is marked silent. However I cannot find any way to switch that off and reset it back to sounds. The only thing that seems to work now is vibrate and the phone ring.

BB Bold :: Emails Not Showing Up
Jun 28, 2012All of a sudden the emails that normally come to my blackberry are not showing in the messages folder as they usually would? All I can see in my messages folder is a duplication of my text messages? Which I already have in my text messages folder. Have I inadvertantly changed a setting here or is there something wrong with my phone? I can see the emails arriving and read them but once they are read they disappear!?

Apr 10, 2010On my 9700 (5.0.0.405), I have my Gmail acct with the enhanced plug-in. I've noticed that when I send an email from my phone, the sent message does not show up in my Gmail list. It *does* show up in the main Messages app. And when that person replies, it shows up as a single email (i.e., doesn't group and show 2 emails with my original). Is this normal? Did it start with BIS 3.0? I can't recall whether it did this prior to 3.0. I also have a Yahoo account, and when I send mail from that, it does show up within the Yahoo Messages app (with a check mark next to it). I also looked through options and "Hide Sent Messages" is set to No.

When I tried viewing new text messages, they were not in the inbox. I soon realized that my emails were showing up in my sms and mms inbox. I had to go into Options and Inbox Settings and choose for sms and mms to be included in the "main message list". How to I get these messages to go back to separate places?
