BB Torch :: Messages Folder Only Showing Draft Emails?
Sep 27, 2011I don't know what changed. My messages folder is only showing the draft emails. How do I get all messages to show up in that folder again?

Sep 20, 2012I'm using a Torch 9800 and I have a message icon in the little notification bar in between the profile selector and the search but I have no messages. I have no voicemail that I haven't listened to, no unread facebook messages or emails, no missed calls, nothing that I can see that would create the little envelope message icon and if I click on it it does not show that I have any messages - only my calender entries. This happened about a month ago and then happened again 2 days ago so I now have 2 messages showing but no messages which is so irritating. Not stopping my phone from working or anything horrid like that, just an irritation as I think I have a message when I don't actually have any unread messages. I have also tried to reboot a number of times but then 1st thing I see when it reboots is those 2 stupid messages that don't exist.

Aug 16, 2011So all of my emails used to show up both in the address specific icon as well as the general message icon. Now they are only showing up in the general message icon.
When I try to access specific emails that I know are for the specific emaill adddress the icon opens but it just displays "*No Messages*" even though the little red astrix is on the icon indicating I have received a new email for that specific address.

Call the carrier support center but they said that one of my mailbox was hit by virus which is very unlikely since it only happen after i switch from 9780 to 9860. If it was from one of the mailbox, it should appear in the respective mailbox than in general message folder. Since talking with the support center is a waste of time, I just accepted their explanation and live with the problem. Now, I have to delete minimum 100 emails per day.I just want to shut it off. I can even read their business email. Attached are pictures for better understanding of my problem.

Aug 23, 2010After only a couple of days with my torch and not having modified it all, all of a sudden when I click on the TEXT message icon, it just shows my regular inbox. It used to show only SMS messages and was really cool. Now it shows emails and all! I dont see anywhere to change this back to the original behavior. I did a hard reset with no luck. So far I love my phone even with the minor annoyances like it hangs for a few seconds after unlocking it everytime, fine I can live with that. But I really want to fix this text message thing

Oct 24, 2011I have a BB Curve 8900. Couple of days back, I left it for charging. In an hour time when I rechecked, there was some issue with display, as it was getting distorted. Post this I did a battery pull. Post that when I restarted, there was a complete white screen, nothing else. The phone is booting up, and calls are coming, (as it is vibrating and ringing, and you can pick call), but the screen is completely white, you cannot see anything else, it is completely white.
I did a complete wipe, and reinstalled the OS(OS version 5), but still it is only showing complete white screen.

May 23, 2012I have somehow set my message box to only show missed calls & I can't get it back to showing all messages?I have looked in messages options - inbox management & Desktop is ticked as well as text messages. I also in 'phone', options, call logs and lists, changed 'Show These Call Log Types in Message List' to None & it still only shows Missed Call as the title & shows the list. I looked in the long on-line manual but it didn't help. Also I tried View Folder to select different mail folders from my desk based Outlook list but still the display is stuck...

BB Torch :: Can't Complete OWA Setup
Sep 5, 2011I have unsuccessfully tried to set up an OWA email account, at first from my Torch 9810 running OS7, and then from the BIS interface. I know all of the correct settings, as I have set up this account on other non-Blackberry devices, but I continue to get an error stating something is wrong. Just to be safe, and because I never underestimate my ability to mess something up, I have tried many combinatins of my user name and mailbox name. No luck no matter what I try.

May 23, 2012Latest desktop software.Stops at about 98%, while "Backing up Smart Card Options 1 of 1 Record". Never finishes, cancel doesn't work. Have to pull the USB cable to stop process, no file is placed in the backup folder. IT USED TO WORK.

After my BB reboots my BBM Icon has vanished completely off of my phone. I then go into My World Apps. It says it's installed. Aug 16, 2011I am trying to transfer all of my contacts from from an older torch 9800 to a new torch 9800 but only a portion of the contacts are being copied. I have tried backup-restore via desktop software etc... but it's not copying the complete list. Tried to do it at AT&T store but that just duplicated the 425 contacts that I all ready had. After I manually deleted all of the duplicates....Tried again to no avail.
