Apr 23, 2011I've just upgraded my 9700 to OS 6 today. The new system looks great. In the email inbox, I found the shortcut ALT+F, which is supposed to display all my flagged emails, not working. Did a little google search and found that all the solutions available are for OS 5. Some of them mentioned setting criteria in the search option. However, in OS 6, I found the search option quite "clean". I couldn't find any way to set the search criteria and therefore there's no way for me to display all my flagged emails at one glance. This is quite annoying as the W shortcut for flagging emails works just fine but after that you can't find your flagged emails which makes the whole function meaningless.

Jan 25, 2010I also noticed that after i updated my software whenever I receive a message, the display message indicator at home doesn't indicate the total number of text message i receive but rather it displays the number of contacts who sent me messages. like for example contact A sent me 2 messages. It will only appear as 1 and not 2. how do i solve this problem? Do you experience the same?

Aug 11, 2010In the last week my bold 9700 keeps on displaying memory manager and shows applications I can delete, but won't actually let me delete anything as it's basicall frozen with clock icon ticking away.Strange thing is if I reboot device, and look at available memory it shows 30mb available, but as I watch it ticks its way down to nothing.What could be eating at memory when I'm not doing anything.Device has become basically useless.After this started, I did install new release of OS that was available when connected to my PC hoping that would solve issue.APP world does not display all my installed apps when I go there??

Aug 21, 2010My Bold is stuck on the boot screen (at about 75%). I've tried many battery pulls with and without the SIM and it keeps doing the same thing. I've searched what I think are all the threads on here relating to this, but I'm still stuck. I'm able to connect to the device if I run Loader.exe like a user suggested, but I don't know how/where to get software to load onto the device. All the places I've searched for an OS says I need to go into the device to find information about it. Well, I can't get into the device to do that. So, how do I know what OS to download and install? I really want to exhaust all possibilities before I have to completely wipe the device because I don't have a current backup. But, even if I wipe the device, I'm going to need to download an OS which I can't do now.

Nov 10, 2012ive had this issue before and sent it away to be fixed came back and was fine for a couple of months and now the problem is back tried doing a battery pull and everything loads it seams. i have tried using the desktop manager and it successfully loads the updated opperating system but same problem persist. the screen is just black and the blacklight lights up but i dont even see the loading bar when i put the battery back in.
