Feb 1, 2012Does anybody know if the phones navigation speaker voice can be set to be heard via bluetooth in the cars audio system? (as the I have with the other phone functions)

HTC Sensation :: Watching Movies - No Audio?
Jun 15, 2011watching movies (.avi, .mkv, .wmv) on HTC sensation.I have tried the mobo player and rock player lite. When I use 'hardware decoding mode' after playing for like a good 5~10 mins, the audio is lost. The video however is continue playing.Then I tried 'Software decoding mode', the video/audio is alright, but then after a while, the movie stop playing and exist.I am guessing it's because the players are not up-to-date for android 2.3?

Nov 12, 2011i've got my Sensation XE 2 weeks now... and its a very nice phone, but some things are oddly wrong :S
first thing is, i looked at 3G watchdog thismorning, and my device had been eating 200 MB's of internet WHILE I WAS SLEEPING this is not normal use and i have no clue what caused it (i installed 3g watchdog pro this morning)
second thing is, my android system process seems to be eating away battery life rapidly, its using up to 40% cpu (according to watchdog) and com.htc.bg is using roughly 20% okay, i just saw something happening, i restored a backup, watched my cpu, and then my virus scanner said something about com.android.vending being installed, and i saw my android system process skyrocket in cpu usage
yes, i have rooted my phone, and yes i deleted some system applications (like facebook, htc facebook, and some other crappy useless stuff, nothing that should harm my phone)

Mar 6, 2010I have the current map version 0.1.23.112 on my device this was updated via Ovi Maps and i downloaded for my Country ie UK.
Now my issue it seems i have the latest maps but every time i put it in Drive mode to Navigate i get a message after a minute telling me need to connect to shop via online, here i get options to purchase for 1 day,10 day,30 day etc.
Assuming I have the latest Maps and according to my Map updater i do than why do i still need to purchase anything i thought the maps were now free?
This has baffled me for a while now and so far i have not been able to use the Navigation system, help would be appreciated.
Also i would like someone to advice me the correct settings i need to have in my Device so that it only uses the GPS to connect to and therefore a free service.
Google Nexus 5 :: USB Connection To Audio System?
Jul 31, 2014I'm having some difficulty with doing this. Recently, a family member of mine had purchased a stereo system, more specifically, the LG mini hi-fi cm4320. Everything about the system seems to be functional except for USB port to mp3 capability. From the outside, it would appear that this should function the same as if it were a car stereo/radio system with the same USB connection option. Each time I try establish connection with my phone, the system's screen flashes "search/no USB", switching between the two. Is this an issue with my phone or the stereo system itself? In any case, how do I go about correcting it.

Apr 11, 2014I'm having a problem with automatically connecting to my car's handsfree system, I have to go to bluetooth settings every time to get it to connect. Connecting manually works ok though but is very tedious in the long run and not how bluetooth should work to my understanding.

When I turn in bluetooth in settings (in iphone) the icon appears on the top bar, but as soon I turn away from settings screen the bluetooth icon disappears. I have been trying to connect to my car audio system via Bluetooth which used to work properly a few weeks back.

Aug 24, 2015My Galaxy S6 was one of the loudest phones I've owned. Its still loud but only when listening to music or watching YouTube, every other app isn't as loud anymore.
For example, I got a music game, when I listen to the song from the music player its perfectly loud, when I listen to the same exact mp3 in the game its no as loud anymore like it use to be.
Is this a known bug? is there a fix or update coming to address this?
PS: I noticed this RIGHT AFTER the 5.1.1 update (on verizon) before every app in my phone was loud

Feb 26, 2012I have set up my bluetooth to work on my Ford Focus Audio system. Followed the instructions:
- Paired the devices.
- Entered the code given by the audio unit.
- Confirmed that they were connected.
The blackberry asked if I wanted the phone to connect automatically to the unit (So I don't have to go through the process of waiting for, and accepting a connection on the phone. Drove to the garage to get fuel and turned off the engine. Got back in the car started up and drove off. At this point the phone should have connected automatically like my old Nokia. No sign of it doing so. On stopping I looked at the phone and it was asking to accept a connection from Ford Audio. This is not automatic connecting. Automatic connecting is the phone linking up itself as soon as I get in and switch the radio unit on. So why hasn't this worked?
Nokia Navigation :: Setting Created That Allows To Select Audio Output Via Bluetooth?
Jan 5, 2013When my Lumia is connected to the car via bluetooth, its connected with both audio profiles, Voice (Phone Call Audio) and Music (A2DP).So when connected and Nokia Drive is running the audio is sent to A2DP to then be sent to the aux input of the car stereo. This is all well and good if you have the radio on and AUX selected. But if you are listening to FM radio or a CD etc you don't hear any voice guidance from Nokia Maps.
This is a question directed at Nokia Maps Developers. Can a setting be created that allows you to select audio output via bluetooth? If you could select it to go via the Voice/Phone call Profile, like for instance the Speech input works on Windows Phone, for reading/replying to text messages, then when ever there is a direction to be spoken, the car bluetooth would treat it as a phone call, cut sound to the radio and speak the direction through the speakers no matter what the radio was outputting.If the above doesn't make sense then please ask me as this would be a worth while setting to be developed.

The phone works great except for the fact that I now have an issue with a high pitched sound coming out the 3.5mm headphone jack which is connected through my car audio system, when i try to make a phonecall. Jul 20, 2011I have had the phone for about three weeks now. I am past the 14 day remorse period and I didn't start having problems till after this period... Sometimes the phone will just reset bact to the white HTC screen then return to the home page after a few seconds, it sometimes asks to send the error report and sometimes it doesn't. It only did this once or twice out of the blue but now I am noticing it is doing it more often now. The phone has now also started to reboot back to the white HTC screen then show the t-mobile red letters screen then start up. One time it was completely off even though it had battery power and I had to turn it back on. Just last night I was in the middle of a phone call when the phone just dropped the call then rebooted to the white HTC screen then said it recovered from a fatal error or whatever the message says and asked me to report it.

Sometimes the audio will work fine (notice this more when I'm on WiFi) but sometimes, in all apps (snapchat, facebook, regular gallery view) the video will play but the audio will cut in and out.
Not sure what it is. Phone is rooted (systemless) and is running the EX Kernel. I didn't mess with the audio settings in the EX Manager...
This is a huge issue for me as I spend a lot of time on Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube (I'm a vlogger, etc.).
