IPhone :: Importing Contacts To 2012 Nissan Navigation System From 4S?
Apr 22, 2012
I am attempting to import my contacts from iPhone 4s to navigation system on 2012 Nissan murano. I was told it could be done via Bluetooth or USB and up to 1,000 entries. Can't find anything on Internet that has info on 2012 or successful sync.
I am trying to import a LMX file with 200 waypoints of a walk in Scotland which I wish to do.
Ignoring the fact that this may not result in a useful waypoint file, I have so far created the file in both GPX and KML formats and converted each to LMX format using GPSBabel and then stored the LMX file on the 5800.
Once saved on my 5800, I am able to load the LMX file and end up with 200 discrete POI's in my Favourites (which is not really what I want!) but more worringly, the points when viewed on OVI maps are placed in the Indian Ocean no matter which format I convert from.
If I can find out why the co-ords are duff and get a good output file I will then see if I can create the waypoint file I actually need,
I have a BB Bold 9900, i need to sync the contacts from the device to outlook 2010. I have disabled wireless sync for the contacts from the device. Once i start the sync, i get the message saying "Check permission on exchange and try again". what i need to do on outlook to get this done.
I am looking for help with importing all my old phone contacts into Address Book in Tiger, so that I could use the iSync to put everything onto my new phone (not an iphone, though, but a Nokia that works with iSync).
I have a Nissan Sentra with built in bluetooth, and I am having problems since getting the new iphone. I synced mine with no problems, but when someone calls, the phone vibrates and then only after a couple of "rings" the car display says bluetooth but there is still no audible ringing at all. The phone was not in silent mode.
With my 3G, as soon as a call came in, it would silence my radio and the car would ring to let me know of an incoming call. Anyone having similiar issues with their car bluetooth?
So has anyone found a work around for the problem with the Nissan bluetooth systems in the car. It will connect with my phone but once you start talking the car disconnects from the phone and then trys to reconnect and then disconnects till I hang up.
I have the current map version 0.1.23.112 on my device this was updated via Ovi Maps and i downloaded for my Country ie UK.
Now my issue it seems i have the latest maps but every time i put it in Drive mode to Navigate i get a message after a minute telling me need to connect to shop via online, here i get options to purchase for 1 day,10 day,30 day etc.
Assuming I have the latest Maps and according to my Map updater i do than why do i still need to purchase anything i thought the maps were now free?
This has baffled me for a while now and so far i have not been able to use the Navigation system, help would be appreciated.
Also i would like someone to advice me the correct settings i need to have in my Device so that it only uses the GPS to connect to and therefore a free service.
I've just started using Xperia Ray and have imported my contacts from my old phone by transferring through my PC. Though all my contacts appear, they are just names, without any numbers. Additionally, though I can see all of them through the Contacts button, when I go to messaging and Add Recipient, only 5-6 contacts appear and no more.
My old phone died (can not read simcards anymore) and I'd like to be able to use a .dbk backup to transfer my old contacts to my new x10 mini. Is there a way to do this? Can I import it to Outlook somehow, gmail? anything?
I cannot re-sync my old phone with gmail, e/// or outlook since you apparently need a working sim-reader to access the phone memory...
I have tried with no sucess. I cant get my contacts imported, it keeps giving me an error in activesync. What is the best way to do this. I want to transfer all my contacts from my blackjack to my iphone without having to manually input.
I'm interested in purchasing a Nokia 500 navigation system, and must say I'm a total newbie in this area, but it seems like a pretty competitive system compared to other top brands. Anyways no matter how much I search for it on the web,I can't find any info on preinstalled UI and voice language packs,
I would also like to know how much of Romania is covered, since I live here and this particular product is not very popular around here, and I can't find any info on this either.
I purchased Nokia 500 auto navigation 3 months back and I used it initially for 2 trips. On my third trip, I see the navigation is not working. I can use any other options in the GPS, but when I tough on for navigation, its simply not responding, and is responding if I touch on any other options except for navigation.
Previously, all my contacts were taken periodically from my Nokia E71 phone and moved to my Hotmail account.I found no reason for this, although other threads here suggested I disable the contacts option in the email accounts part of my phone.I not only did this, I upgraded the phone software and then imported the phone contacts from the backup I had made in Nokia PC Suite.
Now I need to import the rest of my contacts from Hotmail, the ones which were removed from my phone without my wanting them to be removed.
Just got my 5800 today, switching from Sony Ericsson, and loved the new phone until about half an hour ago when I started wanting to smash either it or Ovi - not decided which yet. All I'm trying to do for now is import my old numbers, stored in Windows Contacts on Vista, onto my 5800 and I can't believe it can do everything but that. I've installed Ovi Suite but it won't let me connect the 5800, even tho it asks for cable connection and I use: a cable connection. It doesn't give me much of an explanation; just says there's been a 'problem' and suggests usual (switching off/on again, checking drivers, support pages). A green window also pops up with something about DRM but swiftly goes away again. I've also gone to sync the 5800 using Ovi.com but when I go to sync on the phone it asks me to connect to my network's GPRS. Current device status on Ovi.com is 'undefined.' I'm confused and fairly frustrated that I've got a singing-dancing new phone and am at the point of typing out 130-odd contacts by hand.
I just got a Blackberry 8700.I loaded my sim card that has all my contacts into it and fired up the phone.I followed the instructions to load the contacts to the address book but I cant get it to work. The instructions say to go to the address book, click the track wheel and then go to SIM phone book.Well I dont have the SIM phone book option for some reason.
I have spent 2 days trying to sort this and Im beginning to think about sending the phone back. I have the Atrix and when I first opened it up I set up my Motoblur account. I also set up my facebook account to and then waited for all my contacts to be imported....but nothing! No contacts on the phone. However I keep getting "New Link Post" in the happenings box coming up from people on facebook, but there is only their names, no profile pics to show which would suggest its doing something.
I own a Nokia E71 and I am very excited about Nokia Maps. I am not a good computer user but somehow managed to land into this forum. I have downloaded Nokia Maps on my Nokia - E71 and its awesome but the voice navigation is not working. When I tried to download Voices using "Map Loader" it shows no entry. I have attached the screenshot of "Map Loader" for your reference.
I have tried exporting contacts from Outlook on my work pc as csv and importing into PcSuite contacts but get the message "The contacts cannot be imported. Check the file format."What am I doing wrong?
I have PC Suite 126.96.36.199 running on WinXP Sp3 and have contacts in a spreadsheet that I need to import to my N95 software version 20.0.015. PC Suite Contacts (PCSC) is version 1.0
If I save the spreadsheet data as a CSV, Unicode (or any other translation come to that) and attempt to import it via PCSC then Contacts "GPF"s and closes.
If I export current phone contacts to a CSV file then I can re-import this file without problem. This exported file is reported by other applications such as Notepad and Open Office as being in Unicode format - hence my use of that format.Looking at my generated CSV and the one from PCSC the difference would seem to be quote marks. So I have tried making every element have a set of quote marks as the PCSC file has. Also setting the last element to each line to be a set of quote marks ("") as in the PCSC file. Or removing all "empty" elements at the end of a line as in the PCSC file. But still when attempting to import the file PCSC closes with an unexpected error.
I don't have access to MS Outlook or Lotus Notes so using one of them as an intermediary is not an option. I do only need to do this once as I want my phone contacts to be the "Master" set once I've consolidated to the phone. That consolidation needs PCSC to manage to import from a CSV file though.Any one know how to make a "personally generated" csv file acceptable to PCSC?
I'm new to the whole BB scene and still have no idea how to 100% use my phone. So far I love it and say to heck with the iphone. My biggest issue is that I have no idea how to transfer my email contacts from Windows Live to my BB. I find myself putting them in manually. This as you know takes FOREVER!
I cannot sync my contacts from my phone to my pc. I have faithfully followed the instruction, but it goes no further than the Import page. It asks me to look for a VCard file, but all I could see was a contacts.csv fle which I thought was the one, but it said "Could not export" or something to that effect. I know the synch works otherwise because I have been able to change my bookmarks online.
I have 3 A707 SYNCS on our plan and I would like to seperately save the contacts for each phone using Phone Tools. I don't care if I could do it within Phone Tools or export them to csv filse. The problem is that the software has no import or export capability; this despite the help menu within the software which says there should be import and export options under the "file" menu. There is not. I also tried copying (Ctrl C) the contacts displayed on screen, but that does not work either. think these would be basic functionality: 1) the abilty to manage contacts for more than one phone within the software, and, 2) the ability to import and export from a csv file.
